00:25 In 2019, it was reported that culture contributed 1.9% or 29.4 billion ringgit to Malaysia's

00:47 GDP mainly through the creative industry. Khoo said people in Malaysia's East Coast

00:53 region are rich with cultures and skills that can benefit them financially. These skills

00:59 offer more economic sustainability compared to bringing in heavy industries to the region.

01:05 Khoo also said Putrajaya should engage farmers in rural areas to maximize the potential of

01:11 agricultural products such as tobacco as it is part of their cultural economy.
