00:30They're so excited. They couldn't quite believe that actually their design has won. They were
00:39through in the back when the judging was taking place, sort of comparing their designs to
00:44other people and saying which ones they like the best and, oh, they think that one's going
00:48to win. And they sort of said, oh, we think we could be in for a chance of a runner up,
00:52but it won't be us that wins. So they're absolutely ecstatic.
00:56My nana, she was a big, she used to be a seamstress over in Ireland and she was a big inspiration
01:01for sewing. So when I found out in school in S2 that I was able to do sewing as a lesson,
01:07I jumped at the opportunity really. So we created a waistcoat and a kilt-like skirt.
01:15So we had cows and pigs, also known as the animals on the estate. So we really wanted
01:21to take the two different tartans as one being the cows and one being the pigs. So
01:28that's what we decided to end up on. So we learned a lot about the applique of the fabrics
01:35and different styles of adding yarn onto fabric with different forms of stitches.
