00:21I was able to have a restraining order issued to protect me from one individual
00:25but this protection was only for a limited time.
00:28There has also been mission walking stick, apparent proof I'm not disabled.
00:32Late last year someone decided to call my daughter's school on a withheld number,
00:37distorted their voice and named my child.
00:39A nine-year-old girl should be off-limits, a school should be off-limits.
00:43I've been approached in person, sometimes whilst with my children, so this isn't just online.
00:48Though the online world, an account refers to a colleague, Ian Fisher and I, as Fish and Pip.
00:54Pip being disability benefit.
00:56This account also calls us Fish and the Scrounger.
00:59There have been many countless posts about my disabilities.

01:59On top of this, there are the silent calls I get constantly.
02:02And this not only takes a toll on me, but it takes a toll on my loved ones.
02:06And it hurts them more than it hurts me.
02:09To try and find balance and protect those I love, I don't publish my address on the ballot paper.
02:14And I have security cameras all over my home and panic alarms.
02:17But should I really have to?
02:19Is this really part and parcel of my role as a councillor?
02:22And would you recommend that to someone else just trying to make a difference?
