00:03 So when I was watching this game back and forth and it was tight at the half,
00:06 I'm like, "Hmm, I wonder if Minnesota's gonna win and not cover this game."
00:09 Well, not only did they not win, of course they didn't cover.
00:12 Dallas went on the road and won this one.
00:14 And maybe I was wrong.
00:16 Maybe it's not just all about Luka having 30 points because it was Kyrie Irving last night
00:22 that really stepped up as Luka's sidekick.
00:24 And it was a primary factor, I think, and the reason why they won yesterday.
00:29 I agree 100%.
00:30 I think that the reason they won is because Luka got off to a slow start,
00:34 but Kyrie Irving gave them that secondary scoring punch.
00:38 He had 24 of his 30 points in the first half and he just looked aggressive.
00:42 He was attacking downhill.
00:43 He only took three three-point shots.
00:46 He really kind of played to his strengths with his speed, athletic ability, and getting downhill.
00:50 And then Luka Dodric kind of woke up in the fourth quarter.
00:53 So that allowed the Mavericks to kind of pull out this win on the road.
00:57 And we saw that that's the main difference between them and the Timberwolves is
01:00 they have the two top-tier scorers.
01:03 That's taking away nothing from the Wolves role players and Carl Anthony Towns and Rudy Gobert
01:08 and all the quality players they have.
01:10 But if Anthony Edwards isn't going out there and getting you 30,
01:13 the scoring has to come from somewhere else.
01:15 And they got a strong effort from Jaden McDaniels, who had 24.
01:19 But you can't count on that every game.
01:21 Whereas the Mavericks, generally speaking, are probably going to get
01:25 at least 30 from one of those guys.
01:27 And if they get it from both, they're going to be alive to win any game in the series.
