00:00A sea of mourners filled the streets of the Iranian city of Tabriz.

00:17A truck carrying the coffins drove past as crowds said their final goodbyes.
00:24Over in the Iranian capital meanwhile,
00:26mourners lined the streets with five days of national mourning underway.
00:33Raisi was a very popular president. He cared for the people and worked for the people.
00:37Besides the Iranian people, he also cared about the interests of the region.
00:42Earlier on Tuesday, the assembly of experts gathered in Tehran.
00:46The body is tasked with appointing the country's next supreme leader.
00:51An internal vote was due to take place to appoint a new chairman,
00:55a post which was likely to go to the late Ebrahim Raisi.

01:14Raisi's body meanwhile will travel from Tabriz to the Shiite clerical centre of Qom
01:19before being taken to the capital.
01:21Processions are due to take place in Tehran on Wednesday,
01:24with Ayatollah Ali Khamenei leading prayers later in the day.
01:28The coffin will take one final flight to Raisi's hometown of Mashhad,
01:32with the burial scheduled for Thursday.
