Kidsafe ACT, the not-for-profit organisation, has for more than 40 years educated parents and the community about safety measures for children and infants as well as providing services such as the fitting and checking of car seats.
But Kidsafe ACT could close at the end of the year without more ACT Government funding.

00:19 So Kids Safe ACT unfortunately is on the brink. That would have a catastrophic impact for families across Canberra and obviously for kids themselves.
00:26 Which is why we are calling on the ACT Government to fund Kids Safe properly.

00:34 We're a small not-for-profit, we have a dedicated experience team whose life mission is to help keep kids out of hospital alive and living healthy wonderful lives.
00:44 Please support us because the absence of Kids Safe in the ACT would definitely be negative to families.
00:51 The worst thing I've probably seen is that the harness isn't on the child so they can easily come out of that seat.
00:59 I've seen children not sitting in their car seats, just even driving around Canberra.
