Mama bird had built a cozy nest for her babies right outside the front door, hidden amongst the pretty flowers of a hanging wreath.

This lady, Lacy, rushed out of the door and gasped! The nest looked like it might tumble down.

Not wanting to disturb the nest any further, Lacy and her husband came up with a clever plan. They carefully placed a wide, sturdy bird perch underneath the wreath, creating a safe platform for the nest to rest on. Then, they added a piece of cardboard in front, like a little fence, to stop any curious chicks from taking a tumble before they were ready to fly.
