00:00 In the UCI World Tour, a new year means new equipment, and 2024 is no different.
00:06 So, we thought we'd give you a full rundown of the bikes, kit and colours filling your screens this year.
00:12 So, let's get into it!
00:14 There's little change at the Alpecindo-Koenigs squats.
00:22 As the men's team enters its second season as a World Tour team,
00:25 men's and women's teams are both still riding Canyon bikes.
00:29 The Aeroad, Ultimate and Speedmax will be at the team's disposal,
00:33 fully clad with Shimano Dura-Ace group sets and wheels.
00:36 The team is sticking with Italian componentry for the rest of the bike,
00:40 with Vittoria tyres and Selle Italia saddles.
00:43 The squad also has current cyclocross and road race world champion in the shape of Mattia van der Poel,
00:50 so look out for his special edition rainbow bikes this year.
00:53 Though the women's team will be racing under the Fenix-De Kooning name,
00:57 they'll be riding the same bikes and similar kit.
01:00 It's a similar story over at the French outfit, Arkea B&B Hotels 2,
01:09 with just a couple of changes to the team in 2024.
01:13 They'll still be riding Bianchi bikes, using the Specialissima and Oltre XR4 on the road,
01:18 while the Aquila CV will be taking care of time trial duties.
01:23 Shimano still provides the team with group sets, but instead of Dura-Ace wheel sets and Continental tyres,
01:28 Arkea will be rolling on Vision hoops clad with Vittoria rubber.
01:32 The Italian theme is completed with Selle Italia saddles.
01:35 Another team making the switch over to Vision wheels is Astana Kazakhstan.
01:43 The team has swapped out the somewhat confusing dual usage of Karima and head wheels in 2023 for just Vision this year.
01:50 Thankfully, what the team hasn't changed are the beautiful Wilier Trastina bikes.
01:56 The team will once again be using the Zero SLR, Filante SLR and Turbine SLR,
02:01 all in the stunning Mottled Blue paintjob from last year.
02:04 Group sets are once again handled by Shimano, saddles by Prologo,
02:09 and a slick pair of Tammled Vittoria Corsa tyres finishes off each bike.
02:18 The special edition Tour de France kit used by Bahrain-Victorias in 2023 was properly classy,
02:24 and it seems like we weren't the only ones to think so.
02:27 For 2024, the team has all but copied the kit which was such a hit last July,
02:32 with a new white and light blue colour scheme on bikes and Lycra.
02:36 Beyond a colour change, though, it's business as usual for the team.
02:39 They'll once again be riding the Merida Reacto and Merida Scultura in road races,
02:44 alongside the Merida Time Warp for those days against the clock.
02:48 The bikes will be shod with Shimano group sets and Prologo saddles,
02:51 rolling on Vision wheels with Continental tyres.
02:54 Pre-Moz Roglic signing with Bora-Hansgrohe might have just been the biggest transfer for 2024,
03:05 but while Roglic will be racing a totally new kit,
03:08 it is a setup that the German WorldTour team has tried and tested for the last few years.
03:13 Bora-Hansgrohe is sticking with Specialized for 2024,
03:17 riding just two bikes throughout the entire year.
03:20 The Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL8 will be the team's only road racing setup,
03:25 while the Shiv TT will take care of those flat-out timed blasts.
03:29 SRAM makes its first appearance on our list,
03:31 providing Bora-Hansgrohe with red AXS 12-speed wireless shifting,
03:35 and builds are finished off with Specialized in-house brand Roval wheels and finishing kit.
03:40 Canyon SRAM, you guessed it, will be riding Canyon bikes with SRAM group sets.
03:50 The women's WorldTour squad keeps its colourful livery this year,
03:54 which will be seen on a mixture of Aeroads, Ultimates and Speedmaxes in 2024.
03:59 SRAM umbrella brand Zipp will once again provide the wheels,
04:03 which will be mated to Schwalbe tyres,
04:05 and the bikes will be finished off with saddles from Ergon.
04:09 Orbea finally sees its entry to our list now, with women's team Serratizit WNT Pro Cycling.
04:19 The German squad will be riding the Orca on the road and the Ordu in time trials,
04:23 kitted out with Shimano Dura-Ace shifting and Orbea in-house brand Oquo wheels and finishing kit.
04:29 2023 was a breakthrough year for Cofidis,
04:36 as they took their first Tour de France stage win in many years.
04:40 They'll be looking to build on that success in the coming year
04:42 and will do so with pretty similar equipment.
04:45 They'll be riding the Look 795 Blade RS on the road,
04:49 covered in Shimano Dura-Ace Ti2 group sets and Prologo saddles.
04:53 Karima wheels will be fitted, typically the MCC Evo 47mm, paired with Michelin tyres.
05:04 It's all change at Decathlon AG2R Le Mondial team, formerly AG2R Citroen.
05:10 You can say goodbye to brown shorts and hello to Van Rijssel bikes,
05:14 which make their debut in the World Tour this year.
05:17 The Van Rijssel RCR Pro will be the French team's bike of choice,
05:20 and it's been making quite the stir as one of the most affordable bikes in the peloton.
05:25 Shimano group sets will clad both the RCR Pro road bike and the XCR time trial bike,
05:31 along with Deda handlebars, Fizik saddles and Swiss sidewall sets and Continental tyres.
05:37 Another team that sees little change is EF Education Easypost.
05:46 They'll still be riding Cannondale bikes, Vision wheels and handlebars,
05:49 Prologo saddles and Vittoria tyres.
05:52 Shimano again provides the group sets.
05:54 In fact, they outnumber SRAM 23-10 in our list.
05:58 The biggest change is that they'll only be riding two bikes, the Super 6 and the Slice TT bike.
06:04 It's business as usual for the women's outfit too,
06:06 with setups being shared across both men's and women's teams.
06:10 After a staggering 22-year partnership with bike sponsor Lapierre,
06:19 Groupama FDJ has finally moved away from the French brand.
06:23 Instead, Wilier steps in to sponsor its second World Tour team in 2024,
06:27 with the French team using the Zero SLR and Filante SLR road bikes,
06:32 alongside the Turbine SLR TT bike.
06:35 The rest however is the same, with FDJ opting for Shimano Dura-Ace shifting
06:39 and, usually, C50 wheel sets, Prologo saddles and Continental tyres.
06:45 The women's squad run under the FDJ Suez name and will also be using Wilier bikes,
06:50 built to the same specifications as the men's.
06:57 It's all change at Human Powered Health for 2024.
07:00 The American outfit, which only has a women's World Tour team,
07:03 has left a long-standing partnership with Felt and moved over to Factor bikes for this year.
07:08 The team will ride the O2 and the Ostro VAM and Hans OTT bike,
07:13 all specced with Factor's sub-brand Black Ink wheels and handlebars.
07:18 SRAM Red group sets would also be fitted to the bikes, alongside Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres.
07:24 Both team management and equipment have changed at the Ineos Grenadiers this year.
07:29 While long-standing partner Pinarello will once again provide its Dogma F road race bike
07:33 and Belida time trial bike this year, Fizik saddles and Princeton Carbon wheels are gone.
07:39 Instead, the top-ranking World Tour squad will use Prologo saddles and Shimano Dura-Ace wheel sets,
07:45 as well as Shimano group sets and Pinarello house brand most-used wheels.
07:50 The circus is gone from Intermarche 1T for 2024,
07:54 as the team looks to build on what was a pretty tough 2023.
07:59 They'll do so on pretty much the same bikes as last year, however riding Cube bikes for another season.
08:04 Binium Gourmet will be contesting sprint finishes aboard the Cube Lightning C68X aero bike,
08:11 while the likes of Luritz and Leroy will be competing in the World Tour.
08:14 The Belgian squad is still riding Shimano group sets, Neumann wheels,
08:20 Continental tyres and Prologo saddles for the 2024 season.
08:24 After a successful season in 2023, Littletrack has chosen the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" approach to their season.
08:32 The team will be using the same wheels as last year, but with a new design.
08:36 The new design will be a bit more modern, with a new design for the new season.
08:41 Littletrack has chosen the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" approach to their setup for this year.
08:45 Mads Pedersen will be looking to recreate the successes of last year's Tour de France on the same Trek Madone,
08:51 and Mountain Days will see the Trek Emonda come out to play.
08:54 It's a full American-Italian collaboration when it comes to the builds too,
08:58 with Pirelli sorting the tyres and SRAM is still handling the group sets,
09:03 leaving the Trek subsidiary Bontrager to fill in the gaps.
09:06 It's business as usual for the women's squad too, with both teams riding the same bikes
09:10 in the Lidl-inspired colours that were introduced midway through last year.
09:14 Movistar team heads into its 10th year of partnership with Canyon in 2024,
09:23 and they are both keeping kit and bike setups pretty much the same for the new year.
09:27 Both the women's and men's teams will have access to the full complement of Aeroad,
09:31 Ultimate and Speedmax for the 2024 season.
09:35 Clad with SRAM Red group sets for the fourth year in a row,
09:38 the teams will be rolling on SRAM subsidiary Zipp wheelsets, fitted with Continental tyres.
09:43 Fizik saddles are still present, making the only change a very humble one.
09:47 Look pedals have been switched out for the time alternatives.
09:50 Back in December, Israel Premier Tech confirmed on social media that it had
09:59 dropped out of co-title sponsorship with the women's team,
10:02 leaving them simply as "Roland Cycling Team" in 2024.
10:06 And with Israel Premier Tech went the Factor bikes too,
10:09 with Roland making the switch to Pinarello bikes.
10:12 Their Pinarello Dogma F road bikes will be fitted with Shimano group sets,
10:16 Vision wheels and Sellitalia saddles.
10:18 No name change, no kit change, no bike change.
10:25 It's all the same at Soudal Quickstep.
10:28 The stacked Belgium team are still riding specialised bikes, with Shimano group sets.
10:33 It's the most streamlined sponsorship in the World Tour too, just two main brand sponsors,
10:38 as specialised in-house brands account for finishing kit, wheels and tyres as well.
10:43 They might not have changed the bikes, but Team DSM, Firmnic, PostNL
10:52 are carrying a different look into 2024.
10:55 The new Dutch title sponsor has brought with it an orange and white theme to both bikes and kit.
11:00 The team's Scott bikes have received nothing more than a new lick of paint,
11:04 still equipped with Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 and C50 wheels,
11:08 Vittoria tyres and Scott's own brand Syncros finishing kit.
11:12 Men's and women's teams will be seen riding the Foil RC on flat days,
11:16 and the Addict when the going gets steep.
11:23 The Australian outfit is sticking with Giant for the 2024 season,
11:26 but once again, there's a jazzy new colour scheme to boot.
11:29 The men's team will ride the Giant TCR, Propel and Trinity,
11:33 while the women's squad will use the Liv Langma.
11:36 All bikes will be fitted with Shimano Dura-Ace Shifting,
11:39 Continental tyres and Giant house brand Kadex takes care of the wheels and finishing kit.
11:43 It's hard to see how Team Visma-Lisabike can top their 2023 season.
11:52 They won all three Grand Tours, along with a copious number of other races,
11:56 aboard Cervelo bikes, so it's no surprise that they're sticking with the Canadian brand for 2024.
12:02 Jonas Vinaigarde will still have the choice of the Cervelo S5, R5 and P5,
12:07 with both men's and women's teams using the Reserve wheels, SRAM groupsets and Sellitalia saddles.
12:13 Team SD Works Pro Time is home to our Women's World Road Race Champion.
12:22 Look out for her gorgeous custom-painted Specialized S-Works Tarmac S8 in 2024.
12:27 Though the rest of the team doesn't get rainbow privileges,
12:30 they'll still be riding Specialized bikes.
12:33 Team sponsor SRAM also provides groupsets in the form of its Red Axis Wireless 12-speed
12:37 Shifting and Specialized subsidiary Roval are responsible for the wheels and finishing kit.
12:42 It's another year on show stopping bikes for UAE Team Emirates.
12:51 Both men's and women's teams will ride Colnago V4 RSs on the road and the Colnago TT1
12:57 in the Chrono category.
12:59 Once again, they have some of the most blinged-out bikes in the peloton,
13:03 with Enve's currently unreleased handlebar, along with carbon-tied disc rotors and chainrings.
13:08 Wheels are also handled by Enve, and the bikes are finished off with Prologo saddles and Continental tyres.
13:18 The Danish women's pro team will once again be aboard their bikes.
13:22 The Tarmanese brand is providing the team with its VSRU road bike and the TSRF Time Trial bike
13:29 for the 2024 season, which will once again be fitted with DT Swiss wheels,
13:33 Shimano groupsets and Prologo finishing kit.
13:37 Let us know down in the comments below which bike you'd most like to be riding this year.
