The Shropshire County Show, getting ready for lift off.

We head down to the West Mids Showground in Shrewsbury where preparation is under way for the County Show.

00:06 Westmid Showgrounds. Of course we are and what we doing? We're getting ready for the

00:10 Shropshire County Show, the 149th Shropshire County Show. 149th, that's not bad going is it?

00:16 And just running through, this is just the main opening ceremony, quad bikes,

00:22 stunts, action horses, livestock parade. You've got plenty going on haven't you?

00:26 We have yeah, one not to miss. Yeah and the massive show horse behind you,

00:32 that's actually to scale isn't it? That's how big these things are and

00:36 the idea is that it just kind of brings that into real life doesn't it for

00:41 people and because when you see it like that it's kind of a bit daunting isn't it really?

00:45 Yeah it gives you an idea, you can come and stand in front of it and find out

00:49 what size horse you are and then go and see the real thing. Yeah yeah.

00:54 So what sort of stuff are you particularly looking forward to at the show then?

00:56 What's the favourites for yourselves ladies? I think for me the Atkinson stunt

01:00 horses, the film style horses that have appeared on things like Game of Thrones.

01:03 Oh wow yeah. And for me it's definitely the heavy horses. The heavy horses.
