00:42 Mahathir pointed to the Court of Appeal judgment last year, which stated that although Apandi

00:46 had the authority to direct investigations and prosecute impartially, the latter tried

00:51 to hinder and obstruct the investigations, namely the 1MDB scandal.

00:56 He said the judge had even noted that Apandi failed to show even the slightest evidence

01:00 to support his claim that he did not aid and abet former Prime Minister Najib Razak in

01:06 The judge's remark, Mahathir said, vindicated the government's decision to terminate Apandi's
