Formed in 1964 The Woolies were an American garage rock and roll blues band from East Lansing, Michigan who released three albums from 1972 to 1973 before disbanding. Their most famous song was the cover of "Who do you love" that became a regional hit in 1966. The group was fundamentally inspired by the American blues tradition. They supported Chuck Berry throughout the USA and at the Grande Ballroom they played as support to MC5. "Live at Lizard's" is in fact their last album as the 2006 "Ride, ride, ride" is a compilation of songs dating from 1965 to 1975.
