00:00 [Chanting] Government schemes should give us protection, instead we're faced with dump and deception.
00:26 A few weeks ago today we lost our father. He was a victim of the capital insulation.
00:33 You've known about my father's story and we just felt that's all we needed to do to get away with it.
00:39 We can't be the only ones who are going to lose their family members.
00:42 There's other people who are going to lose theirs. We can't let that happen.
00:45 So 18 months ago there was a Black and Soul family party.
00:50 It was always on the Northern Soul scene, dancing in the night.
00:53 And with this whole situation and the SSP war, he just broke through as a person, not just physically.
01:00 He was being affected by it. He had COPD, asthma, living in a high-risk area of a dump, a mould.
01:08 It was affecting him physically. There was also the mental effect of it.
01:12 He just felt as though he was being hanged.
01:15 He was presented with a £7,000 bill that then went up to £12,000.
01:19 I don't even know where it is now. We haven't been able to open the paperwork.
01:22 We're still in that grieving period. We shouldn't have to be here to demand action.
01:27 We shouldn't be at home right now grieving for him. We should be here.
