00:03:27 Today is Monday, May 13th.
00:03:30 And PFT, let's correct some overreactions.
00:03:35 >> The nuggets are in fact not dead.
00:03:37 >> The nuggets are good at basketball.
00:03:39 >> They didn't forget how to play.
00:03:40 >> I actually, so it felt like a lot has happened in the last three days of
00:03:45 the playoff world and the number one story is the Denver Nuggets evening
00:03:50 the series against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
00:03:53 And what we said last week, this is the first time the Nuggets are gonna have
00:03:57 their back against the wall in the last year and a half of playoffs.
00:04:02 And turns out, they answered the bell and they looked awesome.
00:04:06 And Nikola Jokic, who is the best player in the world,
00:04:09 who you saw the little doubters creeping out of their holes and
00:04:13 being like, Nikola Jokic shouldn't get his third MVP.
00:04:17 He had a master class on Sunday night.
00:04:19 >> Yeah, and Friday night they played really well too.
00:04:21 The overreaction was, I think it was somewhat warranted though,
00:04:25 because they looked like shit in the first two games.
00:04:28 Michael Malone even said, you know what he did?
00:04:30 He went home and he put together a compilation tape of all the talking heads
00:04:34 talking shit about the Nuggets.
00:04:35 And he was like, I didn't do that because I hate those guys.
00:04:38 I did that because they were right.
00:04:39 >> Right. >> So he actually,
00:04:40 credit to Michael Malone for respecting the biz and
00:04:43 giving Stephen A Smith all the credit for turning around.
00:04:46 It was so bad in fact, Stephen A Smith, I don't know if you saw this, but
00:04:49 after the game, the most recent one where they went up, I guess after Friday's game,
00:04:55 Stephen A Smith said, yeah, I was wrong and I apologize.
00:04:59 >> Whoa. >> I've never heard Stephen A Smith
00:05:01 back to anything.
00:05:02 >> Whoa, that is crazy.
00:05:04 >> But I think when we talked about it, we were at least just saying what we've
00:05:06 seen, which was the Nuggets looked like shit.
00:05:08 >> They looked lost.
00:05:10 >> Timberwolves look awesome, which they did through two games.
00:05:12 And then they found out, yeah, okay, we can actually play with these guys.
00:05:16 That went on Friday, gave them a lot of confidence.
00:05:19 It's a weird series cuz we haven't had a home team win yet.
00:05:21 >> Correct, correct.
00:05:22 >> It's been business trips all around.
00:05:23 >> And Jokic was incredible all weekend long.
00:05:27 In the two games, he had 59 points, 21 rebounds,
00:05:31 16 assists in those two games.
00:05:33 Tonight especially, it feels like you don't wanna say they solve something
00:05:37 because this series will go back and forth and
00:05:40 now you get the counter punch from the Wolves.
00:05:43 But Jokic basically, especially with the Murray pick and
00:05:46 rolls, was like, I'm just gonna stop before I get close to the rim and
00:05:52 neutralize Rudy Gobert and shoot these floaters that are there.
00:05:56 And he was so awesome.
00:05:58 And then it also helps that Aaron Gordon played out of his mind,
00:06:00 11 for 12 from the field, was hitting everything.
00:06:03 When Aaron Gordon plays like that, everything opens up.
00:06:06 Because now when you're doing pick and rolls, when you're cutting to the rim,
00:06:10 he's standing out there.
00:06:11 He's gonna shoot and he's gonna make it.
00:06:14 And the Wolves defense, and the worst part for the Wolves tonight.
00:06:18 And I don't wanna, listen, I understand it's emotional for
00:06:21 fans when your team is in the playoffs.
00:06:24 And you've also got guys that you've ridden for for a while.
00:06:27 Last week I joked about Karl-Anthony Towns making the,
00:06:31 people talk about the big three, me, Ant, and Rudy Gobert.
00:06:35 And I was like, I don't think people talk about that as a big three.
00:06:38 Tonight is why, because Karl-Anthony Towns was fucking dog shit.
00:06:42 And Anthony Edwards was incredible.
00:06:44 And they wasted a 44 point night from Anthony Edwards,
00:06:47 because Rudy Gobert and Karl-Anthony Towns were not good.
00:06:52 >> Well, yeah, Rudy Gobert wasn't great tonight, but
00:06:54 the Nuggets did their worst damage when he was off the court.
00:06:57 >> Yeah, but- >> When he went out,
00:06:58 he had two quick fouls and he went out and then went on a huge run.
00:07:01 It was like a 24 to 6 run, 24 to 4 run, something like that.
00:07:05 It's because Rudy wasn't on the court then.
00:07:07 >> Karl-Anthony Towns, I don't understand how a guy his size still doesn't know how
00:07:12 to play in the post.
00:07:13 Like he's in the post and if it's Aaron Gordon one on one,
00:07:18 Aaron Gordon can DM down.
00:07:19 If they send a double team, he panics and looks completely lost.
00:07:23 He was 5 for 18 tonight.
00:07:25 And like I said, Anthony Edwards was out of this world.
00:07:27 I don't know if there's an actual conversation to be had, but
00:07:31 it feels like Nas Reed should be playing more, especially later in the game.
00:07:36 And maybe tape sitting Gobert or Karl-Anthony Towns, but-
00:07:40 >> Remember that was game one, right?
00:07:42 Nas Reed came out there and just lit shit up.
00:07:44 >> This is the frustration of Karl-Anthony Towns.
00:07:46 He has all the ability in the world, but then you have nights like tonight where
00:07:49 it's like if you wanna be a big three, you can't go 5 for
00:07:52 18 and waste a 44 point performance from your best player, Anthony Edwards.
00:07:58 >> I'll put it this way, if I was cat size,
00:08:00 I would be the best basketball player in the history of the world.
00:08:03 >> Yeah. >> I really would.
00:08:04 >> And the Nuggets didn't shoot out of this world, they shot like 57%.
00:08:07 >> Yeah, they shot really well and
00:08:08 they had the role players playing well on the road.
00:08:10 >> Yeah, Aaron Gordon, that's what we always say.
00:08:11 >> That's the theme of this series, as we always say.
00:08:13 >> And I know a game isn't won or lost in one moment, but
00:08:18 I do actually think that the game was lost for the Wolves.
00:08:22 With 48 seconds left in the first half,
00:08:25 Anthony Edwards hit a three to cut the lead to seven.
00:08:28 48 seconds left, they went to halftime, they were down 15.
00:08:31 >> Yeah, I'd say that the game was over when Jamal Murray hit that shot at halftime.
00:08:35 >> That was just like they fought all the way back cuz they went down in
00:08:38 the second quarter and like, okay, we can go into halftime, seven, that's great.
00:08:42 And he's like, what the fuck just happened?
00:08:43 >> Somebody do the stats on that for me.
00:08:45 If there's a buzzer beater before halftime in a game.
00:08:47 >> A 55 footer.
00:08:48 >> A 55 footer, I bet you that team goes on to at least cover the spread.
00:08:51 >> Yeah. >> In the second half.
00:08:53 >> I do think the Wolves will have a good answer on whatever game, Tuesday night.
00:08:58 >> Yeah. >> Maybe Rudy Gobert just has to have
00:09:00 another kid.
00:09:01 >> Well, maybe they need to have just like another three day break, and
00:09:04 then it flips back.
00:09:06 >> Yeah.
00:09:06 >> Cuz this series is, buckle up, that's what I'm gonna say, buckle up for
00:09:10 this series.
00:09:11 >> I was just very impressed by the Nuggets, and
00:09:13 I know that they shouldn't be doubted because they won a championship.
00:09:16 But they won it somewhat easily, and that's a credit to them.
00:09:19 That's not saying it was an easy path.
00:09:22 But this was their first real test of the playoffs in the last couple years,
00:09:28 and it's like, holy shit.
00:09:29 They answered it, and they answered it resoundingly, we're for real, and
00:09:33 we're not gonna go down like punks.
00:09:36 >> Hank, you had something that you looked like you were gonna say earlier.
00:09:39 What do you think?
00:09:39 >> You went back to scared about the Nuggies.
00:09:41 >> You moved up to the mic.
00:09:42 >> Yeah, I mean, the Nuggets are the scariest team in the West.
00:09:46 >> You're right. >> Left in the playoffs, period.
00:09:48 >> Yeah, do you think the Wolves will,
00:09:51 where do you think this series is gonna go?
00:09:52 I think it's gonna go seven.
00:09:53 >> I think it's gonna go six.
00:09:56 >> Really, you think the Nuggets have it in the next two?
00:09:57 >> Unfortunately. >> Wow.
00:10:00 >> They just figured it out.
00:10:00 >> I hope the Wolves win in six, but.
00:10:02 >> The fact that Stephen A Smith apologized concerns me.
00:10:05 That would concern me deeply, deeply, if I was a Timberwolves fan.
00:10:08 >> Yeah. >> Stephen A Smith could run somebody
00:10:10 over in his car if he was driving it blindfolded, and he'd be like,
00:10:13 that person shouldn't have been in the intersection.
00:10:15 >> Well, it's why the Nuggets are the team you wanna face the least,
00:10:18 cuz they have the most experience.
00:10:19 And this is that time of the playoffs where experience matters, and
00:10:22 the Nuggets just do not care.
00:10:24 They're not worried about the pressure of game five or six or
00:10:28 seven, cuz Jokic is the team leader, and he doesn't care.
00:10:31 >> Yeah. >> So everyone kind of bounces off that,
00:10:33 whereas Anthony Edwards is 22, the Thunder are super young.
00:10:36 Even the Mavs don't have experience this deep in the playoffs, so
00:10:40 that's why thinking about the championship, if you were to do that,
00:10:43 you'd rather play one of those younger, more inexperienced teams.
00:10:46 But that's why I think the Nuggets, they're gonna roll from here on out.
00:10:50 >> It was a fun weekend reminder that Jokic is the best player,
00:10:53 because just the way he plays, and the pace he plays, and
00:10:59 the decision making that he, he just puts the defense into such a bind
00:11:03 when he's on that no one else is really like that.
00:11:06 >> And his passing right off a pick and roll.
00:11:08 >> Right. >> Yeah,
00:11:09 it's just a big, he's a big question that you have to answer.
00:11:11 >> And in the shooting before you get to the rim,
00:11:13 figuring out exactly where he can take apart a defense with
00:11:18 the defensive player of the year, Rudy Gobert, and just seamlessly doing it.
00:11:22 It's just, he's incredible.
00:11:23 >> And Hank said that he doesn't really care, but
00:11:25 Jokic actually would have seen from him in the last two games, he very much cares.
00:11:29 >> No, not care.
00:11:31 >> You saw him a couple times out there getting really heated up.
00:11:34 He deeply cares about this team and he wants to win.
00:11:37 He might, yeah, when he gets home, he might be like, shit,
00:11:39 I wish I was in a horse stable back in Serbia for the next two weeks.
00:11:43 But when he's out there with his team, he definitely does care and
00:11:46 wants to win very badly.
00:11:47 >> No, that's not what I meant at all.
00:11:48 Obviously, he cares, he's the best player in the world.
00:11:50 I meant more about the pressure of games they get later in the series.
00:11:55 >> Got it. >> He doesn't feel the pressure.
00:11:56 >> He doesn't feel, I agree with that.
00:11:57 I would agree with that.
00:11:58 >> So, Hank- >> He doesn't care if it's game seven or
00:12:00 if it's game two.
00:12:01 >> Yeah, he feels like he's- >> He doesn't care if it's the finals or
00:12:03 if it's the first round.
00:12:03 >> The same guy every time and it's a killer.
00:12:07 >> But with younger teams, I mean, even- >> It's a silent killer.
00:12:09 >> Even in Celtics in the past,
00:12:10 you can kind of see teams pucker up a little bit as the pressure rises.
00:12:13 >> He does nothing but success for the Celtics in the past, though.
00:12:16 >> Something like that.
00:12:18 >> Rank the four teams out of the West.
00:12:20 Scary, who are you the most scared of?
00:12:22 And then all the way down to who you're not scared of at all.
00:12:24 Nuggets won.
00:12:28 >> Nuggets, Timberwolves, Thunder.
00:12:32 >> Really?
00:12:33 What if Kyrie steps on Lucky?
00:12:37 >> Kyrie has gotten smoked in every single game he's played against the Celtics,
00:12:43 I think, since that happened.
00:12:45 >> Since he stepped on Lucky?
00:12:45 >> Kyrie's playing out of his mind right now.
00:12:47 >> Yeah, no, he's really good.
00:12:48 I just think the matchup versus Thunder would be probably harder for
00:12:52 the Celtics in the Mavs.
00:12:53 >> We actually did a bad job.
00:12:54 The most important story out of the NBA playoffs this weekend is one that
00:12:57 happened on Thursday night right after we got done recording.
00:13:00 Somebody had their phone out and
00:13:02 played porn during Lucas press conference after the game.
00:13:05 >> Yes.
00:13:06 >> [INAUDIBLE]
00:13:16 >> It was actually the first time a lot
00:13:18 of those reporters had ever heard porn.
00:13:20 >> Yeah, they were like, my God.
00:13:21 >> What the fuck?
00:13:22 >> I wish Jake Marsh was in the room at that time.
00:13:24 >> Is there a cat in distress?
00:13:26 >> So what do you think the root cause of that was?
00:13:29 My theory is that somebody clicked something and
00:13:31 it opened up like Safari on their phone.
00:13:34 And the last time they had been on Safari, they were watching porn.
00:13:38 >> They forgot to go private.
00:13:39 >> They forgot to close that.
00:13:40 Or maybe they accidentally opened up a private tab.
00:13:42 >> Yeah. >> And it was still open from last time.
00:13:43 >> Yeah. >> Sometimes I've heard that when you
00:13:45 close, I've heard that if you have it open and you close Safari,
00:13:52 like if you have a YouTube video and it will still be on your home screen to press play.
00:13:56 >> Where you, yeah, yeah.
00:13:59 >> I've heard that that could happen.
00:14:00 >> Was it James Brown video that you watched?
00:14:03 >> DampLips, damplips.com.
00:14:04 >> Little brunette bitch sucking her trainer's cock.
00:14:07 >> I'll find it for us.
00:14:08 >> Hank, why don't you, let's do an experiment.
00:14:10 Maybe pull something up on your phone and then see, press play and
00:14:14 then see if it shows up on your home screen.
00:14:16 >> James Brown was.
00:14:19 >> It was definitely damplips.com.
00:14:22 >> It was damplips.com and it was-
00:14:24 >> Little blonde.
00:14:25 >> It was sexy little brunette.
00:14:26 >> Okay. >> Wait, hold on.
00:14:28 I'm trying to find it.
00:14:29 >> Ch, ch, ch, ch.
00:14:31 I deleted it, obviously.
00:14:34 We gotta find it.
00:14:36 >> If I were him, I would never delete that.
00:14:37 >> Yeah, no, leave that up, dude.
00:14:38 >> It stays up.
00:14:39 >> Well, let people have the fucking link.
00:14:41 >> Listen, I'm a man.
00:14:41 >> Yeah, the, are you doing it?
00:14:48 Are you doing it?
00:14:49 >> Mm-hm.
00:14:50 >> All right, Hank is giving you a test right now.
00:14:52 So press play.
00:14:53 >> It is not showing up.
00:14:57 >> Do you have like that Covenant Eyes app where you're not allowed to watch porn?
00:15:00 >> Nope, there it is.
00:15:03 >> What is it?
00:15:04 >> It's right there.
00:15:04 >> It's right there.
00:15:05 >> Okay, so now hit it and see if you can get it to play.
00:15:07 >> [LAUGH]
00:15:11 >> Yeah.
00:15:12 >> Okay. >> What's that, was that fart porn?
00:15:13 >> No.
00:15:14 >> What was that? >> Sounded like a fart.
00:15:16 >> I don't trust people though that don't X out right away.
00:15:18 Or sexy little brunette bitch sucks on your fucking personal trainer's big cock.
00:15:21 >> Yeah.
00:15:22 >> Damplips.com.
00:15:22 >> Excellent.
00:15:23 >> I don't trust people who don't X out right away.
00:15:26 >> I agree. >> You have to X out
00:15:27 right away.
00:15:27 The minute you caught, you're just like, what am I doing?
00:15:31 >> If you don't get that play on, you're like, this is crap.
00:15:34 You need to feel some shame.
00:15:35 >> That's what I'm saying.
00:15:37 >> So you close it out?
00:15:38 Walk us through what you just did.
00:15:40 >> You're watching.
00:15:41 >> Yeah. >> Okay.
00:15:43 >> You finish, you close it out.
00:15:44 >> This is some good investigative research.
00:15:45 >> You close it out.
00:15:45 What do you mean close it out?
00:15:46 >> Like you just shut your phone.
00:15:47 >> And it just stays on the home.
00:15:50 I know what you're talking about.
00:15:51 If you watch like a YouTube video.
00:15:52 >> You're watching and then I close it.
00:15:54 >> Yeah. >> And then I close my phone like I'm done.
00:15:56 >> Yeah. >> But it's still.
00:15:57 >> Camp Lips is still up on your phone.
00:15:58 >> Yeah. >> Got it.
00:16:00 >> Why do they have the share to Twitter button on porn videos?
00:16:03 >> I mean, there's some people who probably want to share.
00:16:05 >> Yeah. >> And why do they have a comment section
00:16:07 in porn videos?
00:16:08 People got to sound off.
00:16:09 >> The comment section. >> Got to give some tips.
00:16:10 >> I love the porn comment section.
00:16:13 You get the real takes down there.
00:16:14 Who is she? >> Yeah.
00:16:15 This person fell off.
00:16:17 >> Anybody have a name?
00:16:18 >> Name? >> Yeah.
00:16:20 >> At? Can someone give an at?
00:16:21 >> I hope it devolves into like goat conversations down there.
00:16:25 >> Yeah, yeah, yeah, this is the goat.
00:16:27 This is why she's my goat.
00:16:28 >> Yeah. >> By the way, Skip Bayless, or
00:16:31 Stephen A Smith apologizing, makes me think that Skip Bayless is like,
00:16:36 he is not as popular as Stephen A Smith.
00:16:39 I think that debate is over.
00:16:41 >> You think Stephen A won the breakup?
00:16:43 >> He won the breakup, but I think Skip Bayless won,
00:16:47 if you want to say like who stayed true to themselves.
00:16:50 Cuz Skip is still just firing crazy takes with no remorse.
00:16:55 He had one that I'm mad that we didn't come up with.
00:16:57 When Frank Vogel got fired from the Suns,
00:17:02 he said Frank Vogel led the Lakers to the 2020 championship.
00:17:06 Since then, he's already been fired twice.
00:17:08 Shows you how the league viewed the Lakers bubble title, Mickey Mouse.
00:17:12 >> Yeah, everybody else- >> Frank Vogel getting fired twice.
00:17:14 >> God damn, that's good.
00:17:15 >> Mickey Mouse title.
00:17:16 >> Good detective work.
00:17:17 Also, that makes me think that how Skip Bayless has lost two consecutive breakups.
00:17:22 You would agree that also Shannon Sharp has been just-
00:17:24 >> Yeah, she's club Shay Shay.
00:17:25 >> Next level.
00:17:26 So it's like Skip Bayless is good luck Chuck, where if you get with Skip Bayless,
00:17:30 then your career is about to absolutely take off.
00:17:32 >> I like that. >> As soon as you get done not having to
00:17:34 talk to Skip Bayless anymore, life becomes so much better.
00:17:37 >> Skip Bayless try to make a manual acro popular challenge.
00:17:40 >> Yeah, level impossible.
00:17:42 Actually, Skip, if you want to be an intern, I'm part of my take.
00:17:45 >> Yeah, we'll take you.
00:17:46 >> Yeah, we'll take you on.
00:17:47 >> We're looking for a Cowboys fan.
00:17:48 That'd be great.
00:17:49 >> What if we got Tiff hooked up with Skip Bayless?
00:17:54 Will you do that to Ernestine?
00:17:56 >> I don't know if Ernestine exists.
00:17:57 >> No, she does.
00:17:58 >> Does she?
00:17:59 >> Yeah, they don't sleep in the same bed during the week.
00:18:02 >> Yeah, I don't know.
00:18:02 >> I think she, who takes those videos?
00:18:07 Ernestine.
00:18:07 >> It might be Ernestine.
00:18:08 >> Either Ernestine or Wiz Khalifa, that's it.
00:18:11 >> Yeah.
00:18:12 >> Right, that's the only two options.
00:18:13 >> Lil Wayne.
00:18:13 >> Lil Wayne, my bad.
00:18:15 He's best friends with Lil Wayne.
00:18:17 >> Yes.
00:18:18 >> That was close.
00:18:19 [LAUGH]
00:18:21 Wait, who does Wiz-
00:18:22 >> Wale.
00:18:23 >> He likes Wale too.
00:18:24 >> Does he root for the Steeler?
00:18:25 >> He's a Pirates fan.
00:18:26 >> Yeah, he's a Steeler fan.
00:18:27 >> Black and yellow, right?
00:18:28 >> All right, all right.
00:18:29 I knew he was a sports fan, but yeah, Lil Wayne's a Packers fan.
00:18:31 Yeah, look, there's Ernestine right there.
00:18:33 Right there on the screen.
00:18:35 >> I don't-
00:18:36 >> She's right there.
00:18:36 All right, we should talk about the Thunder-
00:18:38 >> I will not speak because if I speak,
00:18:39 it will be in big trouble.
00:18:40 >> Let's talk about the Thunder and Mavs.
00:18:41 I might be out on the Thunder.
00:18:45 >> Okay.
00:18:47 >> They're young, they're fun.
00:18:49 SGA's awesome.
00:18:50 Chet is awesome.
00:18:53 I love Lou Dort, even though this might not have been the best Lou Dort game,
00:18:57 because they were like, hey, what if we just did UFC to Luka all game?
00:19:02 Lou Dort just delivered a perfect knee to the midsection on one of those plays.
00:19:07 And Luka's like, I know we said that he lets you know he's hurt.
00:19:11 He's actually hurt now, because they just keep hurting him.
00:19:13 >> So I think that two things can be true about Luka.
00:19:15 One is he complains about everything.
00:19:17 >> Yep. >> And the second is,
00:19:19 he's also tough as fuck.
00:19:20 Also, Max told us after the show on Friday, he was like,
00:19:24 when you guys were talking about Luka being the new Big Ben,
00:19:27 I was just silently being like, please don't bring up Embiid.
00:19:29 Embiid is the new Big Ben, that was our fault.
00:19:31 >> Yeah. >> Correction.
00:19:32 >> Good point, Max.
00:19:33 >> Good point, Max.
00:19:34 I'm out on the Thunder for one reason.
00:19:37 They can win me back.
00:19:39 I thought that was so fucking lame that they did Hack Alively with six minutes left.
00:19:45 >> Yeah. >> Down five.
00:19:46 >> Yes. >> It was a five point game, and
00:19:49 they started doing Hack-a-Shack on Derek Lively, who I love.
00:19:53 I always root for the guy who gets hacked to prove them wrong, and he did.
00:19:56 He went eight for 12 from free throws.
00:19:58 You're the one seed, and you're down five in the fourth quarter with six minutes left,
00:20:04 and you have SGA and one of the best players in the NBA, and
00:20:07 you're doing fucking Hack Alively?
00:20:10 >> Also- >> Come on, man.
00:20:11 >> Lively is becoming one of my favorite players,
00:20:13 one of my favorite role players in the NBA.
00:20:15 >> Yeah. >> He works so hard on defense.
00:20:17 >> But that- >> He's fun to watch, and
00:20:18 when you do, there was one time when Chet was chasing him around the court.
00:20:21 >> Yeah. >> He was playing tag.
00:20:22 >> Tag, yeah.
00:20:23 >> And Lively had to run out of bounds and run back in bounds, and
00:20:26 Chet was just running out with his arms outstretched like Pepe Le Pew trying to
00:20:30 catch the girl cat.
00:20:31 It was very funny to watch, but you're right.
00:20:33 I do root, I root for the guy that is being singled out as being a shitty
00:20:36 free throw shooter.
00:20:37 >> And it just ruins the flow of the game.
00:20:38 >> It does. >> The end of the game,
00:20:40 it was a great game, and then it just got clunky, and
00:20:43 we're just going to the free throw line.
00:20:45 And again, it's six minutes left, you're down five.
00:20:48 I don't want to see this happen in basketball again,
00:20:50 where it's like, this is what the analytics tell us.
00:20:52 We gotta just start following this guy.
00:20:54 Play the game out.
00:20:55 >> And haters of the NBA will say,
00:20:57 we only have to watch the last two minutes of the game,
00:20:59 which are the best parts usually of a game.
00:21:01 >> Yeah. >> And they're taking that away from
00:21:03 us. >> Yeah, it just, I don't know.
00:21:04 Again, they can win me back, but I think even Thunder fans probably were a little
00:21:08 disappointed in that, cuz you're the one seed, you have a really good team.
00:21:11 You have a lot of young, awesome players that are learning how to play in
00:21:15 the playoffs, and then you're doing this bullshit with six minutes left.
00:21:19 We also should shout out PJ Washington, who's the best player ever.
00:21:22 >> 27 points, so this was the first time that Kyrie and
00:21:26 Luca have played together on the Mavs, and
00:21:29 one of those two is not the leading scorer on their team.
00:21:31 >> Yeah, he's been incredible.
00:21:33 I think everyone graded that an F trade when he got traded from the Hornets, but
00:21:37 he's been awesome.
00:21:38 And then Kyrie, in one on one situations at the end of the game,
00:21:41 I don't know who else, I mean, maybe you'd say Jokic one on one situation.
00:21:47 But he's gotta be top three in terms of you need a basket,
00:21:52 just let Kyrie do whatever he's gotta do and he'll get it.
00:21:55 >> I think, yeah, I don't know if he'd be number one, but
00:21:56 he'd definitely be number one in terms of guy that I like to watch play basketball
00:22:00 with the ball in his hands one on one at the end of the game.
00:22:03 >> And they were actually playing decent defense, he's just so good.
00:22:05 >> You know what he's really good at?
00:22:06 And I know that Steph Curry did this a few times, but I think Kyrie's better.
00:22:11 The pretending to pick up your dribble move.
00:22:13 >> Yeah. >> And you have to watch Kyrie in-
00:22:14 >> The stutter. >> You have to watch him in slow
00:22:16 mo to watch every time that he does it.
00:22:18 Because he does nine different moves every time you think he's doing one move.
00:22:22 >> Right. >> But he'll pick that hand up and
00:22:24 put it next to the ball and take it away so
00:22:26 fast that it just gets a defender to just make one small move.
00:22:30 Hesitate for a second, come up to try to block a shot or get in his way, and
00:22:34 then he's past you.
00:22:35 But he does that, it's so smooth and so fun to watch.
00:22:37 >> Yeah. >> Especially when he does three
00:22:40 between the legs, two behind the back, spin move,
00:22:43 floater in the lane with his left hand.
00:22:44 >> Yeah. >> It's poetry.
00:22:45 >> It's incredible.
00:22:46 And so I'm gonna let the Thunder maybe win me back,
00:22:50 cuz they are so young and so fun to watch, but that pissed me off.
00:22:55 You're the one seed.
00:22:56 You're a good basketball team.
00:22:57 You're a really good basketball team.
00:22:59 >> They thought they had something.
00:23:00 >> I just, it just ruins the flow of the game.
00:23:04 And Derek Lively proved that he was up for it.
00:23:06 >> Yeah, so what's his free throw percentage normally?
00:23:08 >> Let's find it.
00:23:09 You said he's eight for 12, right?
00:23:11 >> But you know it's some nerd.
00:23:13 I bet you the guys on the Thunder are like, this is bullshit,
00:23:16 we don't wanna do this.
00:23:17 >> Yeah, it's a nerd, there's a nerd.
00:23:18 >> It's a nerd thing.
00:23:19 >> We have a nerd in the building in Oklahoma City.
00:23:21 >> Right, and he's got too much power, so
00:23:24 we gotta figure out how to get this nerd out of here.
00:23:27 All right, Derek Lively.
00:23:29 And this is taking a lot for me to defend a Duke player like this.
00:23:32 He's 50%, 50.6% in his career from free throw.
00:23:38 But he is also, again, watching him, especially on the defensive end,
00:23:41 he's a fun player.
00:23:42 >> Yeah, yeah, I mean the Mavs are, they look good.
00:23:45 They look good.
00:23:46 Not scared, they're number four on Hank's scared of teams.
00:23:49 >> Yeah.
00:23:50 >> Okay, Hank, would you like to talk about your game?
00:23:53 >> Yes, I'd love to.
00:23:54 >> Feels like Jason Tatum listened to everyone.
00:23:57 And by the way, we weren't the only ones, I think actually we were probably the
00:24:00 nicest of the things that were said about Jason Tatum,
00:24:03 because there was a lot of people were like he's just flat out not the guy.
00:24:07 >> Yeah, haters.
00:24:09 >> If you remember, our answer to the question was yeah, and
00:24:12 he was awesome on Saturday night.
00:24:14 >> Yeah, he's playing super aggressive, wasn't hitting his threes, but
00:24:18 still driving to the hoop, got 30 points the hard way.
00:24:21 >> Also, he's an incredible rebounder, he doesn't get enough credit for that, and
00:24:23 they need that with Chris stops out.
00:24:26 >> And he's an incredible playmaker, he gets double, triple teamed every time.
00:24:29 He's good at getting the rock to his teammates.
00:24:32 Great Drew Holiday game, first time I feel like he really showed up big in
00:24:36 the playoffs, and you can definitely notice how different the defense is
00:24:40 without Porzingis, getting him back, they're gonna need him back fully healthy.
00:24:43 >> He could be back next game, right?
00:24:45 Yeah, we're at this several.
00:24:48 >> Yeah, they should save him till next series, it's not necessary, but
00:24:52 in the beginning of the game, when Horford's the biggest guy in the lineup,
00:24:56 it's just a different defense.
00:24:58 >> So what if the Cavs win the next one, at that point,
00:25:00 are you like get Chris stops back?
00:25:02 >> Yeah, you might start having those conversations.
00:25:05 >> If he's fully healthy.
00:25:08 >> You might.
00:25:08 >> The proverbial you.
00:25:11 >> You. >> We.
00:25:13 >> Yes.
00:25:13 >> Okay, got it.
00:25:14 >> I have a question for you about the Celtics.
00:25:16 Are the Celtics going to go an entire play, let's say they go to the finals.
00:25:22 I think they'll be in the finals.
00:25:23 We don't know what's gonna happen in the finals.
00:25:25 But will they be the first team to ever get to the finals without playing
00:25:29 a single memorable playoff game?
00:25:31 It's crazy.
00:25:33 Every game is either they kick the shit out of the opponent when their two losses
00:25:37 are they got the chick kicked out of them.
00:25:38 They haven't played in one big fourth quarter moment yet.
00:25:43 And that's not a knock on them cuz they're really, really good.
00:25:46 I saw a stat, they had a 20 point lead in 52% of their games this year.
00:25:51 So it's not their fault that they're just better than everyone,
00:25:56 especially in the east.
00:25:57 But isn't it crazy?
00:25:58 Like they haven't had, I know you're watching it differently.
00:26:01 But every single game they've played so far in the playoffs have just been
00:26:06 laughers one way or the other.
00:26:07 And I mean, it's only two losses, but that's just what it's been.
00:26:11 >> Yeah, I feel like there's probably like a Warriors, maybe the Warriors runs.
00:26:15 But even the losses were probably closer cuz that's been the two weird losses.
00:26:18 >> Weird, right, right.
00:26:20 >> It's like not even- >> Dominated every other game.
00:26:21 >> Right, so Big Cat, I have a question for you.
00:26:23 >> Yeah. >> If you were a Celtics fan,
00:26:25 actually Max, I have a question for you.
00:26:27 >> Yeah, boss.
00:26:28 >> Max Chusek.
00:26:28 >> Max.
00:26:29 >> Yep.
00:26:30 >> As a Celtics fan, would you be concerned at all going into the finals if
00:26:33 you haven't played any close games because you don't know how to win close games?
00:26:38 >> No, you want me to apologize for beating the shit out of teams?
00:26:42 >> Or getting the shit kicked out of you by teams?
00:26:44 >> That's fine, you want me to apologize for winning?
00:26:47 People lose games, teams lose games.
00:26:49 >> [LAUGH]
00:26:49 >> I'll let the West go battle it out game by game,
00:26:53 we just keep winning over here in Boston.
00:26:55 >> [LAUGH]
00:26:56 >> Fuck it.
00:26:56 >> Max is really fucking good at beating Boston.
00:26:58 >> Yeah, he's really good, he's from Massachusetts.
00:27:01 Yeah, no, it's not even a knock on the Celtics, they just haven't,
00:27:07 like there's been the Knicks Sixers series was like every single game was a war.
00:27:13 Even the Knicks Pacers, obviously today wasn't, but
00:27:15 like there's been some memorable games in these playoffs.
00:27:18 And Celts have just not been part of any of them.
00:27:20 >> Cuz they're just so much better.
00:27:20 >> They're so much better, right, right, it's not their fault.
00:27:23 And the two losses are weird,
00:27:25 two losses where they got the shit kicked out of them.
00:27:28 >> So you think that, would you be, I guess it doesn't matter.
00:27:32 But it's weird to think they could get to the-
00:27:34 >> I don't give a, yeah,
00:27:34 it doesn't matter at all.
00:27:35 >> Right.
00:27:36 >> At all.
00:27:38 >> It doesn't matter.
00:27:39 >> And they'll smoke whoever wins the Knicks Pacers.
00:27:42 >> Would you rather beat the Knicks or the Pacers?
00:27:44 >> The Knicks.
00:27:45 >> So you want the Knicks.
00:27:46 >> Absolutely the Knicks.
00:27:47 >> Are you saying that because the Knicks have like two people left?
00:27:50 >> No, I just love beating New York, little brother.
00:27:51 Pacers though, a little revenge for the-
00:27:55 >> In season?
00:27:57 >> In season tournament.
00:27:58 >> Yeah, who could forget?
00:27:59 >> Yeah.
00:28:00 >> But if you played the Knicks,
00:28:01 then you'd also get to do the double duty of after you beat them,
00:28:04 be like, here come the excuses.
00:28:06 You're like, you're already doing that ahead of time, where it's like,
00:28:08 I want to play the Knicks because they will make excuses for not having any players.
00:28:12 Which, by the way, that's a legitimate excuse, I think, if you're the Knicks.
00:28:16 If all of your players are injured, but then you get to-
00:28:18 >> But you just have a, it's like a car that he just doesn't change the oil.
00:28:22 Like you just roll the tires out and he's rolling on the rims.
00:28:25 And he's like, all right, let's just keep going.
00:28:27 I got another 20 miles in this thing.
00:28:28 >> He wanted to keep his starters in the fourth quarter too.
00:28:31 He felt like it tonight.
00:28:32 >> Like, as long as I've known Big Cat was, when Tibbs was the Bulls coach and
00:28:38 he's always said it, but he just runs people out.
00:28:42 >> So this is the discussion now with the Knicks.
00:28:45 And I don't know if you guys saw, but I weighed in in the fact that it's just,
00:28:50 you can look at this however you want to look at it,
00:28:53 because Tibbs does run his guys very hard.
00:28:56 I know that no Knicks I think were in the top 10 in minutes played this season.
00:29:01 So he maybe has figured it out a little bit.
00:29:05 But they're gassed right now.
00:29:08 And they're gassed because they have injuries, so
00:29:10 it's like a chicken and an egg.
00:29:11 I don't think that he specifically has caused this situation that the Knicks
00:29:17 are in, where it's like Julius Randle hurt his shoulder on a,
00:29:21 like Jaime Jaquez play, which was weird.
00:29:25 OG's always hurt, and he was traded halfway through the season, so
00:29:28 we didn't even get the full Tibbs treatment.
00:29:30 Brunson, you could say, he was like 14th in minutes, and he's clearly not 100%.
00:29:36 He doesn't seem like he has the same burst in the last couple of games.
00:29:39 But you have to play him.
00:29:41 But you have to play him.
00:29:42 And then Josh Hart, yeah, he's been played to death, and he looks gassed.
00:29:47 But again, he has no one else to play.
00:29:49 So in a weird way, yes, Tibbs does do that.
00:29:53 He plays his guys really hard, and he always is playing,
00:29:56 like in the middle of February, he's like,
00:29:58 you guys gotta go as hard as possible.
00:30:00 But I think this one situation, it's kind of just fluke injuries, and
00:30:03 I don't know if you can blame him 100% for this one.
00:30:06 >> Yeah, if it's a shoulder, you can't, that stuff happens.
00:30:09 People get hurt.
00:30:09 >> I think Bogdan had a wrist already when he showed up.
00:30:13 So I don't know which, and then Mitchell Robinson is kinda injury prone too.
00:30:17 So I don't know.
00:30:19 It's crazy not to say, like Knicks fans who would say,
00:30:23 Tibbs is completely blameless in all of this, that's nuts.
00:30:27 He does play his guys hard.
00:30:30 I don't think that he caused these injuries this time.
00:30:33 >> It was the Warriors, right,
00:30:34 where they had all those injuries in the NBA Finals that one year.
00:30:37 >> Yeah, play and- >> Yeah, KD.
00:30:40 >> Yeah, like just- >> Nobody was like,
00:30:41 Steve Kerr treats his guys like shit.
00:30:43 >> Yeah, it's like those guys played a shitload of extra games every single year
00:30:46 and their summer didn't start for like an extra three months because they went to
00:30:49 the finals.
00:30:50 It sucks to watch the Knicks run out of gas.
00:30:52 I don't know, maybe the Mecca is the great equalizer because it does feel.
00:30:58 >> What was that? >> Did you have your phone still open?
00:31:00 >> Sorry, no, yeah, my bad.
00:31:02 >> I just think it's funny that we asked Hank to pull up a random porn video and
00:31:06 he went straight to Brazilian fart porn.
00:31:07 >> Yeah.
00:31:08 >> We also should give credit to the Pacers because the Pacers played great.
00:31:12 I mean, that three on Friday night from Nem Heart was incredible.
00:31:19 >> Yeah. >> That was a total don't shoot,
00:31:21 don't shoot, don't shoot, holy fuck, he shot it and it went in.
00:31:24 >> And the first quarter, that first quarter, you're right,
00:31:26 probably doesn't happen at the Mecca.
00:31:28 >> Right. >> But it happened.
00:31:29 It happened today.
00:31:30 >> And- >> And TJ McConnell, by the way.
00:31:32 So fun to watch.
00:31:33 >> Play him, or- >> I got a quote from,
00:31:36 I think it's from Hart.
00:31:38 He said, TJ McConnell is annoying little shit.
00:31:41 >> Love it. >> But he said that in,
00:31:42 like an endearing way.
00:31:43 >> Yeah, yeah. >> He's like,
00:31:44 I think that's how people talk about me too.
00:31:45 >> Yeah. >> I love watching this guy play.
00:31:47 >> But it's- >> He should make t-shirts with his face
00:31:49 and just says annoying little shit.
00:31:51 >> Yeah, it does feel like the Pacers are the worst team right now for
00:31:55 the Knicks to just lose everyone because they push the pace, they're young, and
00:32:00 they do have depth.
00:32:01 And so it's, I mean, they deserve a lot, they could not miss today.
00:32:05 And they held serve at home, I don't think they've lost a home playoff game.
00:32:09 So, they're fun to watch.
00:32:11 I mean, they're young and they're fun.
00:32:12 Like- >> They score.
00:32:14 >> They score, they score again.
00:32:16 >> They're playing good defense too.
00:32:17 Again, I don't know how much of that is the Knicks just not having anybody to play
00:32:20 basketball, but they traditionally don't play defense.
00:32:24 Now they're playing a little.
00:32:25 >> And I think that Jalen Brunson is one of those guys that will just never admit
00:32:29 that he's hurt, even though he's clearly hurt.
00:32:31 >> Yeah.
00:32:32 >> And it's, he even said after the game, he asked if he has less burst,
00:32:38 and he said, I'm fine, I'm fine.
00:32:40 When you gotta say I'm fine twice, you're just the I'm fine dog.
00:32:43 >> Yeah. >> In the burning house.
00:32:44 >> This is fine.
00:32:44 >> Yeah, but Jalen Brunson will never make an excuse.
00:32:47 He just, he kept on saying that.
00:32:49 He's like, why would I say that we're shorthanded, we just lost.
00:32:52 >> You know who really lost today, actually, not the Knicks, it was Villanova.
00:32:55 >> Yeah. >> Villanova took a bad L today,
00:32:57 all their guys.
00:32:58 >> Yeah, Dante DiVincenzo was incredible on Friday night.
00:33:01 Wasn't able to do it.
00:33:02 They look tired, they look very, very tired.
00:33:05 And that is partially Tibbs, but again, I don't think the injuries were like,
00:33:09 I don't think you can point to all of them.
00:33:11 And then people will bring up like Derrick Rose,
00:33:13 I got a bunch of those replies, you know what I'm saying?
00:33:15 Derrick Rose was gonna get injured,
00:33:16 he shouldn't have been in the game that he got injured, the first ACL injury.
00:33:20 Derrick Rose was gonna, his body was not able to handle the NBA.
00:33:23 Like he- >> A smaller guy playing-
00:33:26 >> He had ankle injuries before he got to
00:33:27 the NBA, it sucks, it sucks that it happened that way.
00:33:31 But I don't think Tibbs was the reason why Derrick Rose had injuries.
00:33:34 >> Counterpoint's a fun narrative.
00:33:35 >> Well, he shouldn't have been in the game, that was the part.
00:33:38 It was against the Sixers in that first round matchup and
00:33:40 he was in the game, we were up like 20.
00:33:42 And it was like, why are you in the game?
00:33:44 But if you ask me, if he wasn't in the game that specific time,
00:33:48 would Derrick Rose just never tear his ACL?
00:33:51 I would probably say that's a far fetch, dream that you have.
00:33:55 >> Yeah, if you dig into the numbers, there's definitely some loophole, but
00:33:58 I do like Hank simplifying it down to like, it's a car and
00:34:01 he's not changing the oil.
00:34:02 >> Yeah, no, he coaches hard.
00:34:04 I'd rather have him as my coach than not.
00:34:06 He's a fucking great coach and he always has teams overachieving with guys
00:34:10 that shouldn't be doing what they're doing.
00:34:13 And that's kind of the story of this Knicks season.
00:34:15 The only thing I'll say to Knicks fans I don't like is them using Julius Randle as
00:34:20 like if we had Julius Randle, they fucking killed that guy last year.
00:34:25 And he sucked.
00:34:26 But remember they ripped down his poster and they were like, fuck him,
00:34:29 get him out of here?
00:34:30 He sucked in the playoffs.
00:34:31 >> Yeah, he's very- >> And the fans are bad fans.
00:34:33 I don't think they're bad fans, but you can't say, but
00:34:36 if we had Julius Randle after last year when you're like, get him off our team.
00:34:40 >> They're fake fans.
00:34:41 >> No, they're not.
00:34:42 They're not fake fans.
00:34:43 >> They win one game, bing bong, Maxie.
00:34:46 >> They're not fake fans.
00:34:47 I think Knicks fans are some of the best fans.
00:34:49 >> Max, you think that this is like a badge of honor for the Sixers?
00:34:52 Like you beat the Knicks up so
00:34:53 bad that they're not even able to get to the next series?
00:34:56 >> Well, you hurt Mitchell, you beat hurt Mitchell Robinson.
00:34:58 >> I don't know, it means he's being a little bitch back here.
00:34:59 He was like, Julius Randle was hurt last year, so that's why.
00:35:02 >> He was playing the entire playoffs last year.
00:35:05 >> But you hated him.
00:35:06 >> No, but nobody knew that he was hurt.
00:35:08 He was playing hurt, and then everybody was like, that's our guy.
00:35:11 >> Okay, fine, that's a fair retort.
00:35:14 Did they put the poster back up?
00:35:15 >> Yeah, no, Julius Randle's fine.
00:35:17 >> Julius Randle fucking blows.
00:35:18 >> [LAUGH] >> We eat a beat lunch.
00:35:20 >> Julius Randle's good.
00:35:22 >> But we're giving excuses to people who are playing hurt?
00:35:25 >> We're not giving excuses.
00:35:28 >> I love this.
00:35:29 >> We're saying that people found out that he was hurt.
00:35:32 >> Okay, that's fair, that's a fair response.
00:35:35 >> Nobody knew he was hurt.
00:35:35 >> Did you see- >> And he'd like to tell everybody that
00:35:37 he's hurt.
00:35:37 >> That's true.
00:35:38 >> I love Max and Memes going, this is what to expect on April Fool's Day and
00:35:41 part of my take next year.
00:35:42 Max and Memes podcast.
00:35:44 >> Memes, you do realize from the outside looking in, it's like,
00:35:48 they, no fan base was meaner than they were to Julius Randle last year.
00:35:54 And then to be like, well, if we had Julius Randle.
00:35:56 >> Yeah, no, everybody was mean.
00:35:57 >> And very mean.
00:35:59 >> And then they found out that he was hurt and they were like.
00:36:01 >> Did anyone issue a My Bad?
00:36:05 >> Full page ad maybe?
00:36:06 >> Yeah.
00:36:07 >> No. >> Was there a whoops?
00:36:08 >> We did move on, it's just next season.
00:36:10 >> Act like it didn't happen?
00:36:11 >> Yeah. >> You think he forgets that that
00:36:13 happened? >> No, definitely not, but.
00:36:14 >> [LAUGH] >> Throw some dirt on it.
00:36:16 >> I think there's a story of his wife watching them rip down his statue or
00:36:20 his poster.
00:36:21 >> Somebody, there should be one guy, Spike Lee should apologize to him.
00:36:25 >> Yeah, we need someone to apologize just so that everyone else can move on.
00:36:30 >> Cuz I guarantee you he has not moved on.
00:36:32 >> No.
00:36:33 >> He's probably faking this playoff so
00:36:35 that he doesn't give you little shits anymore joy in your life.
00:36:39 >> True.
00:36:39 >> Memes?
00:36:42 >> No, he was doing so good before he got hurt too.
00:36:46 >> Yeah, cuz he wanted to break your heart.
00:36:47 >> He was, but then that's not playoffs.
00:36:49 >> He wanted to give you all the hope because you treated him so
00:36:51 badly last year.
00:36:52 >> No, he's fine, he loves New York.
00:36:54 >> [LAUGH] So we got, I don't know, there's gonna be,
00:36:59 I mean Hank calling Knicks fans fake fans.
00:37:01 No, say what you want about Knicks fans, but they're legit fans.
00:37:06 They don't abandon the team in years of sadness.
00:37:08 >> The Mecca still sells out when they sucked.
00:37:10 >> I think Hank's just looking at Rico and just being like,
00:37:13 that's all Knicks fans are Rico.
00:37:15 >> He's a fan of himself.
00:37:16 >> No, Rico's a real Knicks fan, that's not what I'm talking about.
00:37:19 >> He's the only one.
00:37:20 >> But there's plenty of people that just hop on now that we're in the playoffs.
00:37:23 >> Every team that does well has a bandwagon.
00:37:27 >> That's sports.
00:37:28 I don't know, I think it's more than- >> I've been to the Mecca for
00:37:33 Celtics games when the Knicks sucked and it was like 50% Celtics fans.
00:37:37 >> I don't know, I think New York is a true, true basketball city.
00:37:42 So when they're good, you obviously see it more boisterous, but
00:37:46 those are real basketball fans.
00:37:49 >> Yeah, maybe it's not real Knicks fans.
00:37:51 >> Got it.
00:37:52 I love it.
00:37:53 We're gonna get, I hope we, it's probably not gonna happen, but
00:37:56 I want Knicks Celtics just to see how much Hank pisses off the entire team.
00:38:00 >> It's good.
00:38:01 >> It's what he does best.
00:38:02 >> Get it going.
00:38:03 Okay, should we talk some hockey?
00:38:07 Hank, the Bruins have just gotten beat up with some cheap shots.
00:38:14 >> A lot of cheap shots to the star players.
00:38:17 >> That one- >> And NHL isn't doing anything.
00:38:19 >> Wait, but we gotta give credit to, who's the guy who cheap sharted?
00:38:22 >> No, no, I will not say his name.
00:38:24 >> Bennett- >> No, no, no, here's why I gotta give
00:38:26 him credit.
00:38:27 It took like 17 slow-mo, like alternate angle shots for
00:38:33 people to fully see the fact that he punched Marshawn.
00:38:36 He did a really good job with that cheap shot.
00:38:37 >> It was a great cheap shot to the point, we had to wait for
00:38:40 the alternate angle to come out, which was I think the next day.
00:38:43 >> Yeah. >> We didn't get the actual angle of
00:38:45 him throwing the punch until later.
00:38:46 All we saw was the glove kind of emerging from behind his body.
00:38:50 So if he fooled high definition, like 75-inch-
00:38:53 >> I'm saying.
00:38:54 >> Plasma TVs, he definitely fooled the refs that were watching that happen in
00:38:57 real time.
00:38:58 So he got away with it, he definitely punched him in the face.
00:39:00 Now there were a lot of people that were throwing around retaliatory clips,
00:39:04 response clips online to all the Bruins fans that were complaining.
00:39:09 That showed Marshawn punching people in the face with a gloved hand
00:39:13 from earlier in the series.
00:39:14 So it's like, I think Marshawn would probably do something like this too, but
00:39:17 he was just on.
00:39:18 There was also another hit that he had at the end of the game,
00:39:21 where Marshawn dove head first into somebody else's head.
00:39:25 And they made head-to-head contact,
00:39:27 which also might have been the reason why he was out today with a concussion.
00:39:31 So might not have been from that cheap shot,
00:39:33 although he was definitely concussed, but
00:39:35 they brought him back in the game afterwards.
00:39:37 >> Yeah, absolute cheap shot, and then- >> [LAUGH]
00:39:41 >> I mean, it was-
00:39:41 >> But you have to admit,
00:39:42 I agree it was a cheap shot.
00:39:44 He sucker punched him.
00:39:46 But in terms of cheap shots, he did such a good job of hiding the sucker punch that
00:39:50 we weren't able to figure it out for a while.
00:39:52 >> I don't know, something's fishy with the NHL and this Panthers team.
00:39:56 I can't put my finger on it.
00:39:58 I don't understand why.
00:40:00 But that happened, and it's like,
00:40:01 why does it take the next day for the camera angle to come out?
00:40:04 Cuz it existed.
00:40:05 They probably had it.
00:40:06 Toronto probably had it in real time.
00:40:08 They didn't suspend him, which is crazy.
00:40:10 And then today, same guy cross-checked Charlie Coyle into Sweeman,
00:40:16 so he couldn't block the shot and then hit a goal in.
00:40:20 Clearest day goal interference.
00:40:22 I'm not a hockey head, but- >> They reviewed it.
00:40:25 >> He cross-checked a guy into the goalie,
00:40:29 which interfered from the goalie being able to save the goal, and
00:40:33 they didn't call it.
00:40:34 And then the Bruins challenged it, lost the challenge, so
00:40:38 they came back on a power play.
00:40:40 And it was like the Bruins didn't have a shot for
00:40:42 the next seven minutes, it felt like.
00:40:43 >> I didn't watch the game on Friday night.
00:40:46 I just saw a bunch of people tweeting from our own company being like,
00:40:49 why is the crowd so silent?
00:40:52 >> I thought it was one or two tweets.
00:40:56 I mean, it's the lulls of a hockey game.
00:40:58 >> Bad sports, though?
00:40:59 I was just asking.
00:41:00 Again, I did not watch the game, so I have no idea.
00:41:02 >> It was fake fans.
00:41:03 >> It was rocking today.
00:41:05 >> Yeah, in the playoffs, they get a bunch of fake fans, bandwagoners,
00:41:08 come in, don't know when to cheer.
00:41:09 You don't see them throughout the regular season.
00:41:11 Yeah. >> I'm a fake Bruins fan.
00:41:13 I have no problem saying that, but
00:41:15 the people that are fans of the Bruins and go to the games are diehard.
00:41:20 Probably more than any other sport in Boston.
00:41:22 Like there's the percentage of- >> That usually is the case for hockey.
00:41:25 >> Fake fans versus diehards, and
00:41:28 like the true Bruins fans are eat, live, breathe, die.
00:41:32 >> Would you say that that hit was, would you say it's a dirty play?
00:41:36 >> The sucker punch?
00:41:37 >> Yeah.
00:41:38 >> Yeah. >> That's interesting,
00:41:40 because your own coach said that it wasn't dirty.
00:41:42 >> He said it was outside the lines, but it wasn't dirty.
00:41:45 >> Outside the lines?
00:41:46 >> Yeah. >> But not dirty?
00:41:47 >> But not dirty.
00:41:47 >> Wait, so- >> I don't know what the difference is.
00:41:50 >> So there's inside the lines play.
00:41:52 >> Yeah, it's normal hockey play.
00:41:53 >> Normal hockey play.
00:41:54 >> Good hockey play is what they say.
00:41:55 >> There's outside the lines.
00:41:56 >> Uh-huh.
00:41:57 >> Then there's dirty?
00:41:58 >> Then there's dirty afterwards.
00:41:59 And then- >> And then is there anything after that?
00:42:01 Scumbag?
00:42:02 >> I think after that, maybe scumbag move.
00:42:03 >> Dangerous?
00:42:04 >> Cheap shot.
00:42:05 >> Assault?
00:42:06 >> Yeah, a horrifying act of violence.
00:42:08 >> Yeah. >> Would be next up after that.
00:42:10 >> So, wow, so this is kind of a loophole.
00:42:13 Like this is the new money ball for hockey.
00:42:16 We need to build a hockey team that knows how to play outside the lines, but
00:42:20 never dirty.
00:42:20 >> But not dirty, yeah, just up to that line.
00:42:22 >> Wow. >> You want to go right up to the line
00:42:25 of playing outside the line.
00:42:26 >> Yeah.
00:42:28 >> Does that make sense?
00:42:29 >> We should actually do some research on this and
00:42:32 we should try some outside the lines plays on Hank.
00:42:35 But never get dirty.
00:42:36 >> Not dirty.
00:42:37 We won't get dirty.
00:42:38 >> And just see what happens.
00:42:39 >> Yeah, see what happens.
00:42:41 >> Yeah.
00:42:41 >> So yeah, you say see what happens, which is essentially the Bruins response after
00:42:45 that alleged cheap shot that was outside the lines.
00:42:48 And then nothing really happened.
00:42:50 No one really took a run at him.
00:42:52 >> There was some scuffling.
00:42:55 I mean, what are you supposed to do?
00:42:56 You're down in the series.
00:42:57 You can't just be giving up penalty minutes.
00:42:59 They did take a couple penalties that were clearly just like rage hits,
00:43:03 essentially.
00:43:03 >> Yeah, that one in the third period rocked.
00:43:06 I love Pat Maroon, by the way.
00:43:07 >> But they're down in the series.
00:43:09 They got a scratch and claw for everything they get.
00:43:10 The NHL is trying to rig a Panthers Rangers Eastern Conference Finals.
00:43:15 >> They'd much rather have that than Bruins Rangers, yeah.
00:43:17 >> It's sad.
00:43:18 >> What is that?
00:43:19 What are they rigging that for?
00:43:21 Anti-original six bias?
00:43:26 They wanted Hurricanes Panthers?
00:43:28 >> No, they want Panthers Rangers.
00:43:30 >> Okay, but the Hurricanes won this weekend.
00:43:32 So maybe they want Hurricanes Panthers.
00:43:35 >> They gotta get Sam.
00:43:36 >> Yeah, they want Hurricane, traditional hockey towns.
00:43:38 >> Right.
00:43:39 >> Raleigh.
00:43:39 Now, speaking of that series-
00:43:41 >> Rangers fans legit.
00:43:42 The Rangers games are-
00:43:44 >> [LAUGH]
00:43:45 >> Meme.
00:43:46 >> Popping.
00:43:46 >> Memes.
00:43:47 You were out on a bachelor party this weekend, so
00:43:51 you were not here on Thursday night.
00:43:52 But one underrated part of this show is Memes' hatred for
00:43:58 Rangers fans is actually maybe stronger than his love for any of his own teams.
00:44:03 So where are you right now?
00:44:04 Because they look awesome.
00:44:06 I know they lost in overtime.
00:44:08 Was it overtime?
00:44:10 Yeah, overtime on Saturday.
00:44:12 Where are you?
00:44:13 >> I'm at the point, I said the Hurricanes-
00:44:18 >> It wasn't overtime, I don't think.
00:44:19 >> No, it wasn't overtime.
00:44:20 >> Yeah, yeah.
00:44:22 >> They won power play goal.
00:44:23 >> With like three minutes left, yes.
00:44:25 I was watching and I forgot it.
00:44:27 >> Yeah, the Rangers are really good, but
00:44:29 the Hurricanes goalie is playing absolutely dog shit this entire series.
00:44:33 So it's like one of those, you know.
00:44:36 The Rangers are definitely good, I don't think they're-
00:44:38 >> So you're not worried?
00:44:39 >> I'll be worried if it's like- >> The Rangers are very good.
00:44:44 >> 2-0 against the Panthers next series.
00:44:47 That's worry level maximum.
00:44:50 >> And what if the- >> The home ice advantage for
00:44:53 them though is- >> Yeah, what if the Rangers-
00:44:55 >> Probably the best left in the playoffs.
00:44:57 >> Yeah, well yeah, especially since the Coliseum's gone.
00:45:00 Wait, say that again?
00:45:06 >> You heard what I said.
00:45:06 Hank said the Rangers have the best home ice advantage,
00:45:10 I said especially since the Coliseum's gone and you sold out.
00:45:13 >> No, the Canucks is probably up there.
00:45:16 >> Okay, so but what are you gonna do if the Rangers win the cup?
00:45:20 >> They're not gonna win the cup.
00:45:21 >> Okay, I want him there.
00:45:23 That's a great place for us to have him.
00:45:26 I want him there.
00:45:27 No, I'm saying I want him in a spot where he's basically saying to himself,
00:45:31 there's 0% chance they can win the cup.
00:45:33 And how could you say a team that's up 3-1 in the second round
00:45:37 has a 0% chance to win the cup?
00:45:39 >> They've got one of the best- >> The parade if they win?
00:45:41 >> Yes. >> Yeah, you have to cover that.
00:45:43 One of the best goaltenders they've got.
00:45:45 >> Probably their best goaltender ever.
00:45:47 >> I like that.
00:45:49 >> Sir the pot.
00:45:50 >> Okay, wait, so memes, why do you hate Rangers fans so much?
00:45:53 >> They're just the worst.
00:45:54 They're just the same as Yankee fans.
00:45:57 They just think they're the best of all time.
00:45:59 They've won one Stanley Cup in the last 100 years and
00:46:02 they just think they're the fucking shit.
00:46:04 >> But they have won a Stanley Cup more recently than the Islanders.
00:46:07 >> Yeah, who cares?
00:46:08 We won four in a row.
00:46:09 >> I also love the idea of memes walking past MSG and looking at it and
00:46:12 one night being like, this is the best place on earth.
00:46:14 Then the next night he walks by, he's like, I fucking hate this place.
00:46:17 >> Yeah, it sucks.
00:46:18 >> [LAUGH] >> I mean, it's a basketball stadium.
00:46:21 >> Yeah, it's a basketball- >> It's a Billy Joel stadium.
00:46:23 >> Yeah.
00:46:24 >> Yeah, Billy Joel and Knicks.
00:46:26 I fucking hate the Rangers.
00:46:28 Everybody on the bachelor party was a Rangers fan, so
00:46:30 they were just all celebrating.
00:46:32 I was like, this sucks.
00:46:33 >> Sounds like fun.
00:46:35 >> Yeah.
00:46:37 >> The Stars look good.
00:46:39 And then now the shocker of the play, we're watching it with what,
00:46:42 eight minutes left?
00:46:43 The Oilers look like they might lose this game.
00:46:46 >> My God.
00:46:47 >> Four-two.
00:46:48 >> There have been so many- >> Canucks are just-
00:46:49 >> This is gonna be painful.
00:46:50 >> Are the Canucks a team of destiny?
00:46:52 >> So many close goals here.
00:46:53 >> I don't know, would we consider them team destiny right now?
00:46:56 The way Biz described them last week when he was on was like,
00:47:00 no one expected them to be here, they won a very tough division.
00:47:04 And everyone's like, nice story, but they're not gonna win at all.
00:47:08 I think they might be team of destiny.
00:47:09 >> I do love their home crowd too.
00:47:11 >> Yeah, and the Canucks have one of the scariest propositions in all sports is
00:47:16 that if they get to the final and don't win the cup,
00:47:20 they'll just burn their whole city down.
00:47:22 >> That's true.
00:47:22 >> They've done it multiple times.
00:47:23 >> Yeah, they love to tear that.
00:47:24 Also, I was gonna say, if they don't win the cup,
00:47:26 then they know that they're not gonna get another chance at it for 15 years.
00:47:30 >> Yeah. >> Edmonton,
00:47:31 if they lose in the Stanley Cup this year, they're gonna be like, this fucking blows.
00:47:37 But we've got McDavid, we'll be back, good young players.
00:47:40 >> If the Oilers lose this round, that would be a big disappointment.
00:47:44 >> Yeah.
00:47:45 >> Big disappointment.
00:47:47 Yeah, so it looks like the Canucks might win this game.
00:47:49 We'll update it as we go along in the show.
00:47:51 >> Hank, do you think there's any chance that the NHL leadership in Toronto is
00:47:55 fucking the Bruins because you guys beat the Maple Leafs every year in the playoffs?
00:48:00 >> Potentially.
00:48:02 >> Look into that.
00:48:03 >> Yeah, I could see that.
00:48:06 >> Also, if that were the case- >> A little payback.
00:48:08 >> Couldn't they just have Toronto beat you guys in the playoffs every now and again?
00:48:12 I'm trying to help you out.
00:48:15 I'm trying to connect some dots for you.
00:48:16 >> Yeah, I mean, the NHL, if they were smart, if they were like the NBA,
00:48:21 they would have had a Canadian Stanley Cup final at this point.
00:48:25 >> I just want one team- >> Yeah, I want to-
00:48:27 >> Like it has to happen.
00:48:29 >> I want a team from Canada in the Cup.
00:48:31 >> It would be the greatest.
00:48:32 >> Yeah, I do not care- >> It's such a fun series.
00:48:34 It doesn't matter what two teams.
00:48:36 >> Yeah, right now I don't care who wins, but
00:48:40 it would be nice to have a Canadian team in the Stanley Cup finals here.
00:48:44 >> Yeah, when's the last, I guess the- >> 1990.
00:48:47 >> No, no, last in it.
00:48:49 >> Last in it.
00:48:50 >> The Canadians, right?
00:48:51 Weren't they in the bubble?
00:48:52 Didn't they lose to, I want to say the bubble.
00:48:56 I want to say they lost to, this is going to test our hockey knowledge.
00:48:59 Memes, you want to help me out here?
00:49:00 No?
00:49:00 Want to help me, Memes?
00:49:02 >> Lightning?
00:49:03 >> I think they lost to Lightning, right?
00:49:04 >> Yep. >> In 2021,
00:49:06 maybe it was the year after the bubble?
00:49:09 >> Yeah, bubble year.
00:49:10 >> It was a very forgettable one because the Lightning smoked them.
00:49:13 >> And I feel like there were no fans.
00:49:15 So that was also, like hockey with no fans might be,
00:49:18 we got over football with no fans.
00:49:20 Just because it's still football, but hockey with no fans feels so weird.
00:49:23 >> Wait, it was the Lightning and- >> The Canadians.
00:49:26 >> They're both in the east, right?
00:49:28 >> Yeah, yeah.
00:49:28 >> But wasn't it the, wasn't there a, yeah, no, but
00:49:31 I think they did a weird bubble thing, right?
00:49:33 >> Those are two eastern teams, I know that.
00:49:35 >> That is.
00:49:35 All right, we gotta figure this out.
00:49:38 >> Cuz they just, you think they just took away divisions because of-
00:49:41 >> I don't, I can't remember.
00:49:43 >> Memes is looking it up.
00:49:44 >> Stanley Cup Finals.
00:49:46 >> We need a goal here.
00:49:47 >> We need a goal here.
00:49:49 This is bad.
00:49:50 All right, here we go, boys.
00:49:51 I'm gonna find this.
00:49:53 I'm gonna find this.
00:49:56 >> Yeah, someone say something.
00:49:57 >> Yeah, it was.
00:49:57 >> I remember it was weird.
00:49:59 Yeah, cuz they did the pods.
00:50:01 Remember they did the pods?
00:50:02 >> Yeah. >> There was that weird system.
00:50:04 >> They had to finish out the- >> Yeah, it was this weird fucking-
00:50:06 >> It was the Canadian shit.
00:50:08 The Canadian teams had a different- >> Yeah.
00:50:11 Yeah, because they had different COVID restrictions, so
00:50:13 they had to play in their own pods and then come.
00:50:16 That's right.
00:50:17 That's a weird, that's a question you'll get wrong in trivia.
00:50:21 >> God damn, that would have been so awesome though if they had won
00:50:24 the bubble championship through the Canadian pod.
00:50:27 And then everybody would be like, yeah, Canada won it.
00:50:29 But it's really Mickey Mouse.
00:50:30 >> Yeah, and then yeah, the Canucks, when they burned the city down,
00:50:34 when they lost to the Bruins.
00:50:36 I'm looking right now, the Senators played the Ducks in 2007.
00:50:39 And the Oilers lost to the Hurricanes in '06.
00:50:43 Yeah, fucking, someone's gotta win one from Canada.
00:50:46 What's the problem, Hank?
00:50:49 >> Mrs. Ice.
00:50:50 >> Mrs. Ice, I know, I need a goal too.
00:50:53 >> They've had like five shots that should have been goals.
00:50:57 >> They have 40 shots.
00:50:58 >> Mrs. Ice can't lose.
00:51:00 Although it would- >> Not on Mother's Day.
00:51:02 >> Yeah, but it would also be perfect.
00:51:05 >> They're meant for each other.
00:51:06 >> Mrs. Ice lost on Mother's Day.
00:51:07 >> By the way- >> I feel like we're getting a goal.
00:51:09 >> We have to, we have to.
00:51:10 >> It's Mrs. Ice.
00:51:11 She can't lose this.
00:51:12 Okay.
00:51:16 >> Let's do, can we get Ernestine off the TV?
00:51:18 She's been staring at her.
00:51:21 >> She's an industry plant.
00:51:22 She's not real.
00:51:22 >> Put Damp Lips back up.
00:51:23 No, these are just more pictures of Ernestine.
00:51:27 What are you doing, Max?
00:51:29 >> Stop, I thought you wanted more.
00:51:30 I thought you wanted more.
00:51:31 >> Put Sidney Sweeney up with it.
00:51:33 Remember that time you just started searching for her?
00:51:34 >> Yeah.
00:51:35 >> I wasn't searching for her.
00:51:36 I was looking at things that were trending.
00:51:37 >> You're bored?
00:51:40 Okay.

00:52:02 >> I was just confused, and it was like, wait.
00:52:04 >> Yeah, no.
00:52:04 >> What in the world?
00:52:05 >> But we did it.
00:52:06 >> I think we all kind of put a lot of that year out of our brain.

00:52:55 This is a who's back of the week also.
00:52:57 What is it?
00:52:57 Somebody.
00:52:58 Yeah, somebody who's back.
00:53:01 No, but we can talk about it.
00:53:02 Is this your who's back, Max?
00:53:03 Yeah, Max, well, your who's back is the sitting up meme.
00:53:06 That's Roaring Kitty.
00:53:07 Roaring Kitty.
00:53:08 What is that?
00:53:09 That's the GameStop.
00:53:10 That's the GameStop guy.
00:53:11 Oh, he's deep fucking value.
00:53:14 He's the guy that wore the red bandana.
00:53:15 You remember the movie Dumb Money?
00:53:16 Yes.
00:53:17 That was in it.
00:53:18 Yeah, first tweet since 2021.
00:53:20 Dumb Money and the Patriots documentary,
00:53:23 two instances in the last three months
00:53:25 where I've watched something on TV
00:53:27 and I'm just taking a break from work for a little bit.
00:53:29 And then Dave Portnoy's face comes up.
00:53:31 Yeah, it pops up.
00:53:32 And Johnny Manziel.
00:53:33 Yep, true.
00:53:34 So yeah, he's back online now.
00:53:35 Oh, shit.
00:53:36 There's been some weird shit about to go down.
00:53:37 I want in this time.
00:53:39 Yeah, what's he telling people to buy?
00:53:41 There's no context or anything.
00:53:42 It's just this meme.
00:53:44 So no one really knows.
00:53:45 I'm going to retweet it.
00:53:48 Yeah.
00:53:49 I'm going to buy it.
00:53:50 And then I'm going to retweet it with the eyeballs.
00:53:52 I might even start holding it before I buy it.
00:53:54 So this guy is the guy who did the GameStop stuff.
00:53:56 Yeah.
00:53:56 Which I've never had more FOMO
00:54:00 because I'm just convinced as a lifelong loser,
00:54:03 if I don't get it, like the minute it happens,
00:54:07 I'm the guy who's going to jump on and then lose everything.
00:54:09 But I sat and watched for weeks where it just kept on going up.
00:54:13 I was like, God damn it.
00:54:14 Is that back up?
00:54:16 I don't know.
00:54:16 Because I still have some.
00:54:18 I really, really want to be in on this one.
00:54:21 I really, really want to nail this one.
00:54:23 Yeah.
00:54:24 So just-- oh, no, that looks like it's still down.
00:54:26 Yeah, it's still down.
00:54:27 OK.
00:54:28 OK, but we're back.
00:54:29 Stonks.
00:54:29 So I'm putting on alerts for Roaring Kitty.
00:54:31 Who's back?
00:54:32 Stonks.
00:54:32 He's going to tell us what to do?
00:54:34 Does he just say what to do and then we all--
00:54:36 is this like the tunnel of chaos?
00:54:37 He says, I like the stock.
00:54:40 Like, could I--
00:54:40 If he likes the stock, then it's good stock.
00:54:42 Could I DM Roaring Kitty right now and be like, hey, Mr. Roaring Kitty,
00:54:45 I'd like to win $20,000.
00:54:47 And be like, done.
00:54:48 Yeah.
00:54:49 I'll make it happen.
00:54:49 Yeah.
00:54:51 OK, we're back.
00:54:51 Get him on the show.
00:54:52 We got to all get in.
00:54:53 Yeah, I got to talk to my guy and get more information.
00:54:56 But--
00:54:56 Do you just mean Jack Mack?
00:54:57 Greer.
00:54:58 OK.
00:54:59 Yeah.
00:55:00 We got our top guys on it.
00:55:01 Top minds on it.
00:55:03 Roaring Kitty, come on, part of my take.
00:55:05 Yeah, please.
00:55:06 Hank, who's your who's back?
00:55:08 My who's back of the week is Rory.
00:55:10 Yeah.
00:55:11 What'd he do?
00:55:12 He dominated Quail Hollow.
00:55:15 Won the--
00:55:17 Wells Fargo.
00:55:18 Wells Fargo.
00:55:18 Shout out Jake.
00:55:19 Did a great job.
00:55:20 Jake Marsh was on the call.
00:55:21 Max played well, finished eighth.
00:55:24 Had an eagle in the first hole.
00:55:26 Jake called it.
00:55:26 That was a great moment.
00:55:27 Yeah.
00:55:28 Touching stuff.
00:55:29 Jake doing bing bong maxi for Max Homo was awesome.
00:55:31 Yep.
00:55:32 Yeah, it was great.
00:55:34 But Rory, I feel like he's the king of winning the championship
00:55:38 right before major.
00:55:38 Then everyone talks about him.
00:55:40 It's a major week.
00:55:40 Rory's back.
00:55:41 He's going to win a major.
00:55:42 And then he misses the cut.
00:55:43 So who's back?
00:55:44 Rory fooling us about him being back.
00:55:46 Yeah.
00:55:47 Scotty Sheffers still hasn't had his baby.
00:55:49 He has had his baby.
00:55:50 Scotty Sheffers had his baby.
00:55:51 Congratulations.
00:55:52 He had his baby right before Mother's Day?
00:55:55 I'm pretty sure.
00:55:55 I'm pretty sure there was--
00:55:57 I saw a tweet that was like, it's not out there official,
00:56:00 but he's on the--
00:56:01 Did you just violate HIPAA?
00:56:03 No, he's doing media stuff at Valhalla.
00:56:07 With his baby?
00:56:07 No, but I'm pretty sure it's confirmed.
00:56:11 Following birth of child.
00:56:12 All right, congratulations.
00:56:13 When did that baby happen?
00:56:14 Eric shared the news Saturday afternoon.
00:56:19 So he just had his baby.
00:56:20 Congratulations.
00:56:21 Yeah, this is nothing beneficial.
00:56:22 That's all I saw.
00:56:23 OK, so congratulations on the baby.
00:56:25 Yeah, he's going to--
00:56:26 I mean, my son turned one today.
00:56:29 That was Mother's Day.
00:56:31 Sucks.
00:56:31 I have the same thing with my first son.
00:56:34 Two years ago was Father's Day.
00:56:36 Sucks.
00:56:36 You just get robbed of your day.
00:56:39 Swagger jacked big time.
00:56:41 By a baby.
00:56:42 By a fucking baby.
00:56:44 Charlotte Stingray still has not given birth.
00:56:46 My older kids did not understand the concept.
00:56:50 The presents were not for them.
00:56:51 They're like, but the baby can't open the presents.
00:56:55 And they had a good point.
00:56:56 Because I sat him on the present,
00:56:59 and I tried to show him how to rip the wrapping paper.
00:57:02 Didn't do anything.
00:57:03 And then my other two kids were like, see, we told you.
00:57:05 And then they opened all his presents.
00:57:06 Your daughter's like, is this Chuck E. Cheese?
00:57:08 It was a masterclass by them.
00:57:10 They dominated me on that.
00:57:11 I've never understood that meme with the guy that's
00:57:13 holding out his hand for the butterfly,
00:57:15 and he says, is this something?
00:57:17 You know what I'm talking about?
00:57:18 But it seems like that's your daughter with everything.
00:57:20 Is this Chuck E. Cheese?
00:57:21 Is this Chuck E. Cheese?
00:57:21 Did you see an update on Chuck E. Cheese?
00:57:23 They're getting rid of the original Chuck E. Cheese
00:57:25 mascot in almost all their locations.
00:57:27 What?
00:57:28 Yeah.
00:57:28 Why?
00:57:29 The scary one.
00:57:30 Oh, the rat?
00:57:31 The super scary rat.
00:57:32 Yeah, the rat one.
00:57:33 Yeah.
00:57:33 No, I think they're just phasing it out.
00:57:35 Maybe sign that they're going out of business.
00:57:39 That I got to get there and do my part and keep Chuck E.
00:57:41 Wait.
00:57:41 I might hold Chuck E. Cheese.
00:57:42 Look at this.
00:57:43 Chuck E. Cheese animatronic band will be phased out
00:57:46 by the end of this year.
00:57:48 It is scary.
00:57:49 You know what this means, though?
00:57:51 This means that they're going to have
00:57:52 to get rid of the actual mascot, meaning
00:57:55 there are going to be hundreds of these animatronic scary
00:57:58 mascots to purchase.
00:57:59 We got to buy one.
00:58:00 We have to buy one.
00:58:01 We need one of these.
00:58:02 Yeah, we need one of the Charles Entertainment Cheese
00:58:04 mascots.
00:58:05 I will get back in my auction phase.
00:58:07 I had one briefly where I was just
00:58:09 trying to buy stuff when Dominic's an old grocery store
00:58:12 in Chicago was going out of business trying
00:58:14 to buy like carts and stuff.
00:58:16 This, we got to get this.
00:58:18 If someone wants to gift us one, great.
00:58:20 Otherwise, we'll do it the old fashioned way
00:58:21 and we'll figure out a way to get it.
00:58:23 We need one in the office.
00:58:24 Yeah.
00:58:24 We need one when you walk in the office,
00:58:26 because then it's Chuck E. Cheese.
00:58:28 I can tell my kids Chuck E. Cheese.
00:58:30 Every fucking time we come here, we come here almost every week
00:58:32 and it's Chuck E. Cheese.
00:58:33 That's a problem solved right there.
00:58:34 Yep.
00:58:35 All right.
00:58:36 What was yours back?
00:58:38 A Rory.
00:58:39 That was like one of those always sunny skits
00:58:41 where we zoom out.
00:58:42 We're like, oh, Hank, you're still here.
00:58:44 Rory's back.
00:58:45 He won the Wells Fargo.
00:58:46 Jake, Max, Scotty Shuffler.
00:58:51 Scotty Shuffler won his last start before PGA Championship.
00:58:54 Rory won his last start.
00:58:55 Brooks won his last start.
00:58:56 Oh, the big three.
00:58:59 OK.
00:59:00 Storylines.
00:59:01 I'm excited about it.
00:59:02 And where's the PGA?
00:59:03 Valhalla.
00:59:05 OK.
00:59:06 Love it.
00:59:07 Let's get some fucking wagers going.
00:59:11 I don't know what I think about reloading on the live thing,
00:59:14 but probably not.
00:59:15 Yeah, you got to take the baby bump, right?
00:59:18 You're going to feel like an idiot if you bet against Scotty.
00:59:21 Oh, oh my God.
00:59:23 They missed an open netter.
00:59:25 This is ice.
00:59:27 This is the worst.
00:59:28 Mrs. Ice has two minutes for glory.
00:59:30 It's on Mother's Day.
00:59:31 Is Mrs. Ice like watching intently on a laptop?
00:59:34 Has to be.
00:59:35 Has to be.
00:59:37 Has to be.
00:59:38 She rips her shirt off afterwards.
00:59:40 All right, so who's your pick to win?
00:59:42 Brooks.
00:59:43 OK.
00:59:44 Smart.
00:59:44 Good man.
00:59:46 We'll do some golf stuff this week.
00:59:48 We'll figure out-- we'll get some--
00:59:50 I kind of like that they got the PGA Championship earlier,
00:59:55 but it always does sneak up on me.
00:59:56 Because remember how it used to be PGA Championship was last
00:59:59 and no one would care?
01:00:00 Yeah.
01:00:00 And they're like, fuck it, we're going to hop the line.
01:00:01 Oh.
01:00:02 Oh, Mrs. Ice.
01:00:03 That's a good goal.
01:00:04 Mrs. Ice, she did it.
01:00:06 Let's go.
01:00:08 Mrs. Ice, what a fucking goal.
01:00:12 All right, PFT, your who's back?
01:00:14 My who's back of the week is horse racing.
01:00:16 Oh.
01:00:16 Because it is Preakness Week, where--
01:00:19 We'll have Randy on.
01:00:20 We're going to have Randy on, Mystic Dan,
01:00:21 going for the second leg of it.
01:00:23 And we talked a little bit about Secretariat on Friday's show.
01:00:26 Yeah.
01:00:27 And about how Jason Kelsey thinks--
01:00:29 oh, he's retracted his "this horse did steroids" take,
01:00:32 and then horse people went after him.
01:00:34 On Friday, I had a little bit of time on my hands.
01:00:36 So I got on a flight.
01:00:37 I was on my way to New York.
01:00:39 And I just thought, let me just do
01:00:40 some research about good old Secretariat,
01:00:43 or good friend Secretariat.
01:00:44 See if these claims against him have any merit to them.
01:00:49 Couple things.
01:00:51 Secretariat-- when horses, when they're elite,
01:00:53 like Secretariat, they typically go on
01:00:56 to have fruitful children, right?
01:00:59 Yeah.
01:00:59 Right?
01:01:00 Their cum is worth millions of dollars.
01:01:02 Yeah.
01:01:03 Secretariat had 663 children.
01:01:06 I don't know what you call them.
01:01:07 He had 663 ponies.
01:01:10 That's a fucking lot of child support.
01:01:11 Well, no.
01:01:12 He's actually a deadbeat dad.
01:01:14 And one of his daughters was just
01:01:15 found in the woods somewhere.
01:01:17 And they had to rescue her.
01:01:18 And now she's still alive.
01:01:19 Jesus Christ.
01:01:20 And she's almost dead.
01:01:21 But she got rescued.
01:01:22 And she had to be adopted by a foster agency,
01:01:25 because Secretariat's such a piece of shit.
01:01:26 Anyways, he had 663 children.
01:01:30 Guess how many of his kids won a Triple Crown race out of 663?
01:01:35 And he was probably being bred to the fastest female horses.
01:01:39 I don't want to say zero to ruin this for you.
01:01:41 I want to say five.
01:01:41 Zero.
01:01:42 Ah, there we go.
01:01:43 The answer's zero of them.
01:01:45 One of them--
01:01:46 Thanks to me for not saying zero.
01:01:47 Actually, that's wrong.
01:01:49 One.
01:01:49 OK.
01:01:50 Whoa.
01:01:50 The answer's one.
01:01:51 Whoa.
01:01:52 I said five.
01:01:53 Yeah, you said five.
01:01:54 One of them won two legs, not the Kentucky Derby.
01:01:57 And then one came in second place in the Derby.
01:01:59 Got it.
01:02:00 So his genes, not that strong.
01:02:02 Some people will be like, oh, but down the line,
01:02:04 if you follow the trail enough, then
01:02:05 you'll see that his grandkids' grandkids won some Derbys.
01:02:09 Yeah, question.
01:02:09 Big cat.
01:02:10 Question.
01:02:11 Do the steroids that Secretariat so clearly took
01:02:15 during his horse racing prime, do they carry in his semen?
01:02:20 No.
01:02:21 Oh!
01:02:21 They don't.
01:02:22 Isn't that interesting?
01:02:22 Interesting.
01:02:23 It's very interesting to me.
01:02:24 He also-- did you know that Secretariat,
01:02:27 his legendary time at the Preakness-- obviously,
01:02:30 the Belmont was the one that he won by 16 lengths.
01:02:33 The race that he won at the Preakness,
01:02:36 it's still-- it's a track record--
01:02:37 it's one of the track records.
01:02:39 It was at the time--
01:02:41 it actually got lowered like 40 years
01:02:44 after he ran in that race.
01:02:45 They went back like seven years ago.
01:02:48 And--
01:02:49 In a faster?
01:02:50 There was a secret committee that met in Maryland,
01:02:53 went back, and reduced his time by like a second and a half.
01:02:57 Yeah.
01:02:57 They met in secret, and they changed his times
01:03:00 way after the fact.
01:03:01 That's bullshit.
01:03:02 And this is also part of what Jason Kelsey was saying,
01:03:05 was like, we have gotten faster, bigger, stronger in everything,
01:03:09 but not horse racing?
01:03:10 Well, Jason Kelsey was talking about his heart, mostly.
01:03:13 Yeah, I was saying that part, too.
01:03:14 I was making the point that every mile time has--
01:03:18 like, mile times have gradually gotten better over the years.
01:03:20 Yeah.
01:03:21 100 meter dashes--
01:03:22 You know, he said-- yeah, he said something like this, too.
01:03:25 Like, every sport has gotten better except horse racing?
01:03:28 So I went back, and I looked at the records.
01:03:31 And yes, he still does hold that time at the Belmont,
01:03:34 and he holds that time at the Kentucky Derby.
01:03:37 And that's an anomaly in horse racing.
01:03:39 Most of them have been improved upon since then.
01:03:42 Right.
01:03:42 Not Secretariat's time.
01:03:43 Wow.
01:03:44 Not Secretariat's time.
01:03:45 He also-- this is the other thing about Secretariat.
01:03:47 I found out that a bunch of people
01:03:48 would buy winning tickets for Secretariat.
01:03:50 Like, they would buy the-- they would bet on them.
01:03:52 And then they wouldn't cash in the ticket later.
01:03:54 Lame.
01:03:54 Because they wanted to have the ticket--
01:03:56 it was a bunch of Darren Ravellos going out
01:03:57 with a bunch of these.
01:03:58 Ricky Henderson?
01:03:59 Ricky-- yeah, essentially.
01:04:00 You remember when he got paid a million dollars
01:04:01 for his first contract and framed it?
01:04:03 Yep.
01:04:03 Yep.
01:04:04 And he also lost a bunch of races.
01:04:07 This is what we don't talk about with Secretariat.
01:04:09 We only talk about the wins with this fraud.
01:04:11 He lost, I think, three or four times.
01:04:13 And they had an excuse ready after every single loss.
01:04:15 One time, they were like, oh, he has an abscess in his mouth.
01:04:17 He had herpes.
01:04:19 He had horse herpes, and they blamed his loss on that.
01:04:21 One time, he had uncontrollable diarrhea.
01:04:24 Another time, they just tried to blame a horse for bumping him
01:04:26 too hard and tried to get that horse disqualified.
01:04:30 So there's a lot of stuff with Secretariat
01:04:32 that the more we look at it, the more questions
01:04:35 need to be asked about old Secretariat.
01:04:37 OK, so this is great, because we can now say--
01:04:41 I think we should, as a podcast, we
01:04:43 should say Flightline is our goat.
01:04:45 Yes.
01:04:46 So Flightline is a horse that won the Breeders' Cup
01:04:48 two years ago.
01:04:50 I was at it.
01:04:51 Flightline was injured as a three-year-old,
01:04:53 so wasn't able to race in the Kentucky Derby.
01:04:55 He raced six times, and he just killed everyone.
01:04:59 So he never lost.
01:05:00 Never lost.
01:05:01 Secretariat lost a bunch.
01:05:02 And also, it's a great one, because people
01:05:04 will be like, when people ask us who our goat is,
01:05:07 the casual fans will say Secretariat, or maybe even
01:05:12 American Pharaoh, will say someone
01:05:14 who didn't even race in the Triple Crown, Flightline.
01:05:16 He was an incredible horse.
01:05:18 Or we could go old school with it
01:05:20 and say Man O' War.
01:05:21 Yeah.
01:05:21 Man O' War is a great horse.
01:05:23 And it's sad, because Man O' War's all his accomplishments
01:05:25 are overshadowed by a horse that's
01:05:27 having seconds taken off his time, like 35,
01:05:30 40 years after he ran the fucking race, which I think
01:05:33 we can all agree is bullshit.
01:05:35 So yeah, again, I think Jason Kelsey was on the right track.
01:05:39 And I can't wait to ask Randy Moss what
01:05:41 his thoughts about Secretariat being a fraud were.
01:05:43 Yeah, and we'll also--
01:05:45 we got to use this as a way to get Jason Kelsey on,
01:05:47 who has recently followed Max Delonte.
01:05:50 Nice work, Max.
01:05:51 Play it cool.
01:05:51 Play it cool.
01:05:52 Yeah, it's not a big deal.
01:05:53 Are you second guessing every time you send a tweet?
01:05:56 Like, what if Jason sees this?
01:05:57 Do you think he followed because of what we said?
01:05:59 No, it was definitely not a sympathy follow.
01:06:01 You think it was just he loves your vibe?
01:06:05 Yeah.
01:06:05 I will say this--
01:06:06 Has nothing to do with this podcast.
01:06:08 I'll say this about Max.
01:06:09 Guys love Max.
01:06:10 Guys do love Max.
01:06:11 Dudes are fucking in love with Max.
01:06:13 And I fucking love dudes.
01:06:14 One thing about Max, guys fucking love him.
01:06:17 I fucking love dudes.
01:06:18 Yeah.
01:06:21 All right, so I'm going with Flightline.
01:06:23 I watched him at the Breeders' Cup Classic.
01:06:25 He killed everyone.
01:06:26 Like, nine lengths.
01:06:28 Yeah, Flightline's a good one.
01:06:29 And that's the best horses in the world.
01:06:31 Man o' war, though.
01:06:32 All right, well, we'll ask Randy.
01:06:33 OK.
01:06:34 Yeah.
01:06:34 We'll say, who's your goat?
01:06:35 I just like picking a horse that didn't race in the Triple
01:06:38 Crowns, because everyone's like, who's Flightline?
01:06:40 Dude, you don't--
01:06:41 You don't know--
01:06:41 Are you kidding me?
01:06:42 You don't know horse.
01:06:43 Also, selfishly, I saw him in person, and I was wowed.
01:06:47 OK, I like this.
01:06:48 This is going to be great to have Randy on.
01:06:49 Yeah.
01:06:50 And we should use this to try to get Jason Kelce on.
01:06:52 Yep.
01:06:53 And like, no podcast is defending you more than this.
01:06:56 No, like, the more you look into Secretariat,
01:06:57 the more it stinks to high heaven.
01:06:59 Also, at the time when he was winning all these races,
01:07:02 people were writing about what a welcome escape this was.
01:07:05 Yeah.
01:07:05 To distract-- literally, in Sports Illustrated,
01:07:07 which was a good magazine at the time,
01:07:09 said, people are enthralled and we're
01:07:12 so happy with Secretariat, because he's
01:07:14 distracting us from the Vietnam War and Watergate.
01:07:18 Helen Keller situation.
01:07:19 Yeah.
01:07:20 Was Secretariat even real?
01:07:22 Wait, Secretariat was mute?
01:07:25 No, they're just-- yeah, super--
01:07:27 it's superhuman.
01:07:28 Superhuman.
01:07:28 Larger than life.
01:07:29 Yeah.
01:07:31 This would be great story arc if we got Jason Kelce,
01:07:33 we did an investigation with him,
01:07:36 and we ended up having to go to a farm and watch horses fuck.
01:07:39 And so we were sitting there watching PNV.
01:07:42 Yeah.
01:07:43 Yeah.
01:07:43 With a Kelsey.
01:07:44 That would be really nice.
01:07:45 That would be nice.
01:07:46 Let's just get-- let's get this-- let's finish this story arc.
01:07:48 Great.
01:07:48 That's a great who's back.
01:07:49 All right.
01:07:49 My who's back is a simple one.
01:07:52 It's the Detroit Pistons picking fifth in the draft.
01:07:55 Yeah.
01:07:55 So we had the lottery on Sunday.
01:07:59 Weird time for it or no?
01:08:01 I think it was a weird time.
01:08:03 They usually used to do it, like, on a Tuesday night,
01:08:05 a halftime of one of the games.
01:08:07 I think maybe because this draft doesn't really
01:08:09 have anyone of note.
01:08:13 Although, I was talking to someone.
01:08:15 They said that this draft doesn't have, like, obviously,
01:08:17 a Wim Benyama or a Zion Williamson.
01:08:19 But they're like, there's some really good players.
01:08:21 It's just you're basically taking a guess, 1 through 14.
01:08:25 Like, one of-- one or two of these guys
01:08:26 is going to end up being incredible.
01:08:27 But they could be the 10th pick, not the first pick.
01:08:29 It feels like the safe bets are guys like Klingon.
01:08:33 Yeah.
01:08:34 Is a safe bet.
01:08:34 Saw him working out.
01:08:35 Don't know if he's going to--
01:08:36 Worked out in this office yesterday.
01:08:37 Don't know if he's going to be a superstar.
01:08:39 But he's probably going to be a good NBA player.
01:08:42 And then that's pretty much the safest pick.
01:08:43 Then Duke, the guard, shit, his name is Jerry McHale.
01:08:48 From Fairfax.
01:08:49 Yeah.
01:08:50 But the Pistons, I feel bad for Pistons fans.
01:08:53 The Detroit Pistons.
01:08:55 Now, this draft is a weird draft.
01:08:57 Like I said, like we said, there's not a surefire,
01:09:00 like, franchise player, which makes it even funnier
01:09:02 that the Hawks won it.
01:09:03 That's very Atlanta sports to have a 3% chance
01:09:06 to win this draft, and they did.
01:09:08 Like, you used all your luck on this draft.
01:09:10 But the Pistons, two years ago, the Pistons won 23 games.
01:09:15 They were third worst in the league.
01:09:17 They got the fifth pick.
01:09:18 Last year, the Pistons won 17 games, worst in the league,
01:09:23 fifth pick.
01:09:24 This year, they won 14 games, worst in the league,
01:09:28 fifth pick.
01:09:29 That's insane.
01:09:29 Yeah, it's crazy.
01:09:30 That seems like a sick joke against the Pistons.
01:09:32 I feel bad.
01:09:33 But again, like you said, this draft is kind of a crap shoot.
01:09:36 You could get a good player.
01:09:36 You might end up getting, yeah, one of the ones that
01:09:38 develops into being a great player.
01:09:40 But the fact that it's happened again, just, I mean,
01:09:43 you should try winning more games.
01:09:45 Yeah, try winning more games.
01:09:46 Also, in DC sports, this is the third team
01:09:49 that has the second overall pick.
01:09:51 Yeah, I saw that.
01:09:51 I was rooting for you to get the first pick.
01:09:53 Yeah, me too.
01:09:54 Well, last year, it was like at the end,
01:09:56 it became a coin flip between us and the Spurs,
01:09:58 because the way the numbers shook out.
01:10:00 That would've been the nice one to get.
01:10:02 But we've taken two LSU players, and we took one baseball,
01:10:05 and then Jaden Daniels, obviously, in football.
01:10:07 I don't think there's anyone from LSU
01:10:08 that's projected to go that high.
01:10:10 But we-- fuck it.
01:10:11 Let's just do it anyways.
01:10:12 By the way, talking baseball, Paul Skeens
01:10:14 did make his debut against my Cubs.
01:10:17 I feel like he had the perfect, awesome prospect debut,
01:10:22 where he pitched, I think it was like four innings, three
01:10:24 earned runs, and seven strikeouts.
01:10:27 I feel like that means he's going to be really good.
01:10:29 Yeah.
01:10:30 The first two batters, you were like, oh my god,
01:10:32 this guy's going to be the best pitcher who ever played.
01:10:34 And then it's like, all right, well, he's
01:10:36 going to have to learn how to pitch.
01:10:39 They're on a load management, but also
01:10:41 he's going to have to learn how to be craftier.
01:10:43 But holy shit, can he pitch.
01:10:44 Are you saying that the Wizards should draft Livy Dunn?
01:10:48 Yes.
01:10:48 Yeah.
01:10:49 That would fit.
01:10:50 A reporter did say that although Paul Skeens only
01:10:54 lasted four innings, Livy Dunn, whole game.
01:10:57 Oh, she stuck around?
01:10:57 The whole game.
01:10:58 Complete game.
01:10:59 She's a good sports town.
01:11:00 Yeah, complete game from Livy Dunn.
01:11:02 All right, let's get to our interviews.

01:12:51 OK, we now welcome on our very good friend, recurring guest,
01:12:55 very, very good friend, Julian Edelman.
01:12:58 You're shaking.
01:12:59 You're shaking.
01:13:00 Yeah, because I'm trying to get--
01:13:02 I have awkward arm angle, and I'm using my phone,
01:13:05 and I'm watching games.
01:13:07 I'm trying to navigate both.
01:13:09 Just put it on the coffee table.
01:13:10 Put it-- just rest it up against something on the coffee table.
01:13:13 You probably got a smitter.
01:13:14 Then you might see my balls, because I'm
01:13:15 wearing some really short shorts.
01:13:17 Oh, there we go.
01:13:17 All right, this is perfect.
01:13:18 All right, so Jules is on.
01:13:20 We should have-- we should have had you on right
01:13:22 after the roast.
01:13:23 Obviously, you were partying after the roast,
01:13:24 but we still wanted to have you on.
01:13:26 We also needed to have you on because we need
01:13:28 some tips on podcasting, because you momentarily, for a day,
01:13:33 took over the one spot and made everyone aware of it.
01:13:36 So congrats on that.
01:13:38 Thank you.
01:13:38 Thank you, guys.
01:13:39 I just-- just trying to follow in the founding fathers that
01:13:43 helped me put me in this situation, you guys.
01:13:45 I mean, you guys brought me on your show,
01:13:47 and we're going to take that data,
01:13:50 and we're going to try to learn from it,
01:13:52 make our show completely better every single day.
01:13:55 It's just a starting point.
01:13:56 It's actually funny, because I remember,
01:13:58 like, three or four years ago, you're like, hey,
01:14:00 can we get your entire subscribers list?
01:14:02 And we gave it to you.
01:14:04 Now it all makes sense that you just did it that way.
01:14:06 No, but Gabe's name's awesome.
01:14:08 It's actually incredible what you've, like, grown it into,
01:14:11 because I watch it all the time.
01:14:13 Like, your Ernie Adams interview was incredible,
01:14:15 and it feels like--
01:14:16 Darn shirt.
01:14:17 It's-- I'm going to give you--
01:14:18 I'm going to give you a genuine compliment.
01:14:20 It's hard, I think, right now.
01:14:21 We've gotten very lucky, because we started a podcast
01:14:24 before everyone had a podcast.
01:14:25 It's hard to hop into the podcast game
01:14:28 right now and be unique.
01:14:29 And you are-- you've done that.
01:14:31 And that's a credit to you.
01:14:33 I appreciate that.
01:14:34 That means a lot, really, coming from you guys.
01:14:36 Yeah.
01:14:37 You know, it's been fun.
01:14:38 I didn't-- you know, we just did this thing.
01:14:40 I wasn't-- we weren't trying to do anything.
01:14:42 But it's just-- it's been fun to get to, like,
01:14:44 learn how to ask questions.
01:14:46 You know, when you watch guys' shows, like, you're--
01:14:48 I listen to you guys all the time.
01:14:50 I listen to other people in the industry, the McAfees,
01:14:53 and the Colin Cowers, and see how people deliver,
01:14:56 like, information and how they deliver, like,
01:15:00 their knowledge.
01:15:02 And it's been fun to be able to, like, work that.
01:15:04 And I've seen-- you know, it helped me with TV and stuff.
01:15:08 So it's been a fun, creative outlet.
01:15:09 Yeah.
01:15:10 And you did it without dating the most famous
01:15:12 woman in the world.
01:15:13 So congrats.
01:15:13 No shortcuts for you.
01:15:14 [LAUGHTER]
01:15:17 Facts.
01:15:18 Facts.
01:15:19 Facts.
01:15:20 You still could.
01:15:21 Yeah, you still could.
01:15:22 All right, so we have a bunch of questions.
01:15:24 But let's start with the roast.
01:15:25 You did incredible.
01:15:26 I told you no pressure before, because I
01:15:30 wanted you to feel the pressure, because we were expecting
01:15:32 a lot out of you.
01:15:33 We had you as one of the highest-ranked non-comedians.
01:15:37 You did a great job.
01:15:38 What was it like, though, the entire event, like, being there?
01:15:42 And more than anything, what was it
01:15:44 like sitting next to Gronk?
01:15:45 Because we-- how many of Gronk's jokes did he get?
01:15:48 Like, how many did he understand?
01:15:49 It felt like he didn't understand anything.
01:15:51 First off, yeah, he called me the night before.
01:15:56 Was it the night before?
01:15:57 The night before, yeah.
01:15:58 And did I give you any of my jokes?
01:16:00 Did I run any by you?
01:16:01 You didn't, but you were like--
01:16:02 I was like, listen, we're--
01:16:04 like, you have to perform, because if you don't,
01:16:07 like, we expect a lot out of you.
01:16:09 And you delivered, big time.
01:16:11 No, it was-- I was super--
01:16:13 it was super nerve-wracking to do this whole thing,
01:16:15 because you're jumping in.
01:16:16 And you guys are good, funny speakers.
01:16:20 And you guys have been in that kind of world.
01:16:22 Like, we're still-- I'm still new to this stuff.
01:16:24 So like, when you're sharing a stage,
01:16:26 like Kevin Hart, and Jeff Ross, and the Nicky--
01:16:29 like, those-- you can see how professional they are.
01:16:31 So the whole night, I was watching teleprompters
01:16:34 and stuff, seeing how, you know, like, Ron Burgundy came out,
01:16:37 and he didn't say anything on his teleprompter.
01:16:39 And then you get back into it.
01:16:40 Like, I was watching the behind-the-scenes stuff.
01:16:42 So I was super nervous for this whole thing.
01:16:45 Went and performed at the Comedy Store
01:16:49 the Thursday before with Jeff Ross, which was awesome
01:16:53 to get that, like, rep.
01:16:54 Because I never really told jokes
01:16:56 on a stage, which is completely different than, like,
01:16:59 doing a Q&A or speaking at a motivational thing.
01:17:02 Like, I've done those public speakings.
01:17:05 When you have to go out and actually execute something
01:17:07 while you're doing that, like, to try to get a laugh,
01:17:10 it's hard.
01:17:11 So I was, like, super nervous at the store.
01:17:14 I was, like, shaking, telling my jokes.
01:17:15 Thankfully, we had, like-- there was, like, a group of,
01:17:18 like, 15, like, frat boys that, like, knew exactly who I was.
01:17:22 They were, like, athlete fans, you could tell.
01:17:24 So I got some laughs.
01:17:25 And you could see where you could, like, pause the joke
01:17:29 and not pause the joke.
01:17:30 So it was cool to get that rep.
01:17:31 And then when we go to the night before, you know,
01:17:34 now you're in the green room.
01:17:37 And our green room was me, Randy, Gronk, and Coach.
01:17:42 And everyone's kind of, like--
01:17:45 we were all kind of-- it was like--
01:17:46 it was like before a game, bro.
01:17:48 Like, guys were, like, sitting there in corners,
01:17:50 practicing their jokes and stuff.
01:17:52 And, like, it was fun.
01:17:55 And then, you know, go out and do it.
01:17:56 And then you had to, like, judge, like, I can't drink
01:17:59 really before my jokes because I don't want to get too sloppy
01:18:02 up there or something, you know?
01:18:04 Like, you got to-- and then after you start drinking,
01:18:06 it was fun.
01:18:07 It was a fun night.
01:18:07 Yeah.
01:18:08 And it was good to see, like, a lot of people in that building.
01:18:10 You guys know what I'm talking about--
01:18:11 Kraft, Bill, and Tom, all in the building.
01:18:15 Like, never thought I'd see that again.
01:18:18 Yeah, that was-- it was cool to see.
01:18:19 You should have-- you should have had Wes Welker gone up
01:18:21 right before you and then, like, halfway through his set,
01:18:24 just pulled him off stage and be like, I got this, Wes.
01:18:27 Just taking over for him.
01:18:28 He probably wouldn't have liked that, though.
01:18:30 Yeah, we did have you very high.
01:18:31 We thought Drew Bledsoe did a good job, too.
01:18:33 He was, like--
01:18:34 Great way to open it.
01:18:35 Yeah.
01:18:35 You know, that's got to be some pressure.
01:18:37 And he's a-- he's a great sport, you know, like, with how he--
01:18:41 I mean, that's got to be-- that's such a crazy--
01:18:44 Yeah.
01:18:45 Yeah, it's a good dynamic.
01:18:46 It's like, this guy is responsible for your career
01:18:49 going absolutely sideways when he thought
01:18:51 it was going to go perfectly.
01:18:52 And then you have to show up and make fun of him for being
01:18:55 so much better than you.
01:18:55 Yeah.
01:18:56 But he did a really good job.
01:18:57 I thought he was--
01:18:58 He opened the gates.
01:18:59 Yeah, yeah, absolutely.
01:19:00 So about Gronk.
01:19:02 So Gronk gets up-- we can all agree Gronk killed it, right?
01:19:04 Yeah, he crushed it.
01:19:05 Gronk killed it.
01:19:07 It's OK to say gay again.
01:19:08 I think that's, like, five of Gronk's jokes were, like,
01:19:11 Jules is here.
01:19:12 He's gay.
01:19:14 Tom Brady, you're so gay.
01:19:15 Remember that time Tom fucked Bill Belichick from Tampa
01:19:19 with a 1,300-mile cock?
01:19:20 Yeah.
01:19:21 And then I shocked you, I think, right?
01:19:23 Yeah, that was going to be my question.
01:19:24 Like, so when Tom Brady fucked Bill Belichick
01:19:27 with a 1,300-mile cock, and then you sucked it and lubed it up
01:19:31 the entire way from Tampa to Boston, it was in your mouth,
01:19:35 is that true?
01:19:37 No, that wasn't true.
01:19:38 That was a good joke.
01:19:39 That was a pigment of his imagination.
01:19:41 OK, but yeah--
01:19:42 now, getting back to Gronk and watching, because like I said,
01:19:45 you can see where the prompter and the jokes and stuff.
01:19:49 I'm sitting there watching Gronk, and he's starting,
01:19:52 he's doing his bit.
01:19:53 And then all of a sudden, he just starts going off his dome.
01:19:58 He improbbed, like, I want to say, half of the stuff.
01:20:00 And it was like, I was like, oh, get back.
01:20:03 And then he got back onto it.
01:20:04 It was like, it was so funny.
01:20:07 I mean, it was Gronk.
01:20:08 Yeah, it was Gronk through and through.
01:20:10 Absolutely.
01:20:12 All right, so were you surprised no one roasted you for steroids?
01:20:18 I was.
01:20:18 I was.
01:20:19 I was too.
01:20:20 I was like, if I were up there, I would say that
01:20:22 would be the first thing I'd do.
01:20:23 I mean, I thought everything was on the door.
01:20:25 When Kevin Hart opens up with the Brazilian jiu-jitsu
01:20:27 instructor, I thought we were just fucking--
01:20:29 oh, Floodgate's open.
01:20:30 Yeah.
01:20:31 So when that was like one of the first jokes,
01:20:33 were you like, oh shit, we are really saying everything?
01:20:35 Or did you guys think that there were going to be boundaries
01:20:37 and we're--
01:20:38 It made me feel so good that like, all right, he went there.
01:20:42 So I guess mine is not going to be that bad.
01:20:44 He won't-- you know what I mean?
01:20:45 It was actually a great teammate play by Kevin Hart.
01:20:47 Yeah.
01:20:48 Because he set the stage where he's like,
01:20:50 he knew we were nervous about saying certain things.
01:20:53 So he hits him to let him know like,
01:20:55 this is what it's going to be.
01:20:57 And in a weird way, like you probably
01:21:00 escaped the best out of everyone.
01:21:01 Because the meanest joke anyone said about you
01:21:04 was like, you're obsessed with Tom Brady.
01:21:06 Which is like, I don't know, there's
01:21:09 millions of men out there who they could say that about.
01:21:12 So it's like, OK, yeah.
01:21:13 I want to be him.
01:21:16 Yeah.
01:21:17 I don't know if I want to be him,
01:21:18 but why would you ever bite the hand that fed you, bro?
01:21:22 Yeah.
01:21:22 You want to be inside him.
01:21:23 I live in Brentwood because of Tom Brady.
01:21:25 Yeah.
01:21:26 You're shadowing him.
01:21:27 I'm not afraid to say it.
01:21:29 It's the quarterback league.
01:21:30 You're a dependent person when you're a receiver.
01:21:32 Yeah.
01:21:33 You know, it's smart of you to own it like that.
01:21:34 Absolutely.
01:21:35 The whole situation with Bob Craft, Bill, Tom,
01:21:39 all there together at once, it seemed awkward
01:21:43 when Bob came out on stage.
01:21:45 Like Bill didn't really want to be taking the shot.
01:21:48 He had to be like talked into it.
01:21:49 Did anybody hang out and talk afterwards?
01:21:51 Or did they go their separate ways?
01:21:54 What was that like seeing all of them
01:21:56 together if they hung out later?
01:21:59 It was pretty political.
01:22:00 You guys know how that goes.
01:22:01 Yeah.
01:22:02 Those guys are pros at that.
01:22:04 They know how to address rooms.
01:22:05 They know how to read situations and stuff.
01:22:07 Like it was--
01:22:09 I mean, it was what it was.
01:22:10 I didn't see them at the after party.
01:22:12 They left.
01:22:13 Mr. Craft came for a second and hung out for a little while.
01:22:17 But Bill, he wasn't there.
01:22:18 So there wasn't really any interaction.
01:22:21 Yeah, you're--
01:22:22 That I saw.
01:22:23 You're like a child of divorce being like--
01:22:26 So hard.
01:22:26 I don't know which--
01:22:27 like who I should be seen with or who I should be buddy buddy
01:22:30 with.
01:22:31 They didn't get to show up.
01:22:32 I'll give you this one.
01:22:33 Like we're in the green room, and we're all
01:22:35 telling like war stories, having fun.
01:22:37 Coach is telling us about a rookie skin or something
01:22:41 that he loved back in the day.
01:22:44 And we're all like huddled up talking.
01:22:46 And Craft walked in.
01:22:48 And they played it.
01:22:50 They played it right.
01:22:51 I mean, but it was like--
01:22:53 You feel it.
01:22:53 It was like what you just said.
01:22:55 I wanted-- I got up and walked away.
01:22:56 I was fucking-- I didn't know what to do.
01:22:58 I walked away.
01:22:59 I went to the bathroom.
01:23:00 I just didn't want to be in any kind of question asking
01:23:03 or anything from-- you know what I mean?
01:23:05 Yeah.
01:23:05 Yeah.
01:23:06 Yeah.
01:23:06 So was Craft drunk when he came to the after party?
01:23:09 Because he had like four shots.
01:23:10 He had a bunch of drinks when he was on stage.
01:23:11 I'm making him--
01:23:12 I don't know.
01:23:13 Is this guy got a tolerance of a tank or what?
01:23:15 I don't-- I didn't notice any of that.
01:23:17 Mr. Craft, he's a fun-- he's a funny guy.
01:23:19 What--
01:23:19 He's fun.
01:23:20 So the other one, your running mate, Danny Amendola,
01:23:25 I think he got maybe the meanest joke of the whole time.
01:23:27 And it felt like Belichick might have just showed up just
01:23:30 to add in on him.
01:23:31 What did-- what did Amendola say afterwards?
01:23:33 Because that was-- that was brutal.
01:23:35 It did feel like it was like-- that was a real one.
01:23:39 I mean, now you get-- now you guys get a sense of that's
01:23:42 how Bill's sense of humor was.
01:23:44 And that's how he would humiliate people,
01:23:46 like in the film room.
01:23:48 Yeah.
01:23:48 You know what I mean?
01:23:49 Like, oh, that's a--
01:23:50 that's a great 250 yards.
01:23:53 Yeah, Moss had that--
01:23:54 that's a good half for Moss.
01:23:55 You know, like that's how he would get on guys
01:23:58 during film.
01:23:59 Like, it was awesome to see that.
01:24:01 I mean, they knew it was all fun and games.
01:24:02 They actually kissed it out.
01:24:04 OK.
01:24:04 That's cool.
01:24:04 And they were cool.
01:24:05 I saw them.
01:24:06 They were good.
01:24:06 Yeah.
01:24:07 The other guy he went after, which I thought
01:24:08 was just really funny, was-- was it Matt Light?
01:24:10 Yeah.
01:24:11 Yeah, Matt Light.
01:24:12 Yeah.
01:24:12 And he just started like roasting Matt Light.
01:24:15 And Matt Light was in the back just like,
01:24:16 I did not expect anybody to say my name at all tonight.
01:24:19 But that-- I felt like that was Belichick just going back
01:24:22 to the day of like, OK, I'm going to--
01:24:24 I'm going to rip this guy a new asshole
01:24:27 because I know that he fucked up on film.
01:24:29 So I get to humiliate him in front of the entire team.
01:24:31 Kind of the same way he was doing Danny.
01:24:32 But like, it--
01:24:33 There's a different thing with Matt Light.
01:24:36 There's a different thing with Matt Light, for sure.
01:24:38 Because Matt Light--
01:24:39 I actually just had him on my podcast.
01:24:41 We'll be launching that here soon.
01:24:43 But like, Matt was like the biggest prankster, like, ever.
01:24:48 Like, he had balls of steel.
01:24:50 Like, he would go above and beyond to do a--
01:24:54 like, to get a prank in.
01:24:56 Like, crazy.
01:24:57 Like, with Bill, with everyone, with the--
01:24:59 you know, with Scarnacchio.
01:25:02 Like, the coaches-- like, he was a badass on the field.
01:25:05 And he was one-- you know, he played for 12 years.
01:25:07 He was like one of our leaders.
01:25:08 But he was not afraid to make fun of the environment
01:25:12 with like, these crazy pranks, which you guys can listen to
01:25:16 on Games with Names coming out soon.
01:25:17 You know, the Matt Light episode.
01:25:18 It'll be good.
01:25:19 I love that.
01:25:19 It's a good tease.
01:25:20 I love that.
01:25:22 What about-- I have to ask this question because it came up
01:25:25 like, four or five times.
01:25:27 Did Brady not really shower with the guys?
01:25:29 Yeah, Brady took--
01:25:30 I mean, I've seen him a couple of times.
01:25:32 He was a shower pill guy.
01:25:33 We always saw, oh, Brady took the shower pill,
01:25:35 meaning didn't shower, just walked out.
01:25:37 Yeah.
01:25:39 OK.
01:25:40 Yeah, that felt like a recurring theme.
01:25:41 Like, dude, why don't you take a shower with us?
01:25:43 Which is a very funny thing when you take it outside
01:25:46 of the world of a football locker room,
01:25:49 where it's like, you're mad that your buddy won't
01:25:51 shower with you.
01:25:53 Yeah.
01:25:54 I mean, half the jokes are in the shower.
01:25:56 Yeah, you got to shower with the guys.
01:25:57 You got to shower with the dudes.
01:25:58 That's where the real bonding happens.
01:26:00 Yeah.
01:26:01 You got to shower with the dudes.
01:26:03 Like, when Brady did shower with you, we were like, holy shit.
01:26:06 We got to act on our best behavior because Brady's--
01:26:08 he's naked right there.
01:26:09 No one is off limits in the shower, bro.
01:26:11 Like, if you're walking into the war zone--
01:26:14 but Brady would do this one thing where he would get
01:26:16 in the corner shower, and he'd have two shower heads on him.
01:26:22 It's nice.
01:26:23 It's like, dude, are you fucking serious?
01:26:25 Are we serious here, Tom?
01:26:26 You got to have two shower heads.
01:26:28 Did you ever--
01:26:28 Fucking people waiting.
01:26:29 Did you ever have a moment where Brady, like,
01:26:31 walked in the shower one day, like, once a month,
01:26:34 and you're like, fuck, I haven't shaved my pubes in a while?
01:26:36 No, but I did--
01:26:37 there's this one time where I was showering,
01:26:41 and I used to shave my legs, like, just to my calf.
01:26:46 And I had hella hairy thighs because I had to get my--
01:26:49 I like to get my ankles taped with no pre-wrap.
01:26:51 I wanted it on skin, you know what I mean?
01:26:53 I go in there, and Sean Springs starts making fun of me.
01:26:56 He goes, bro, what the hell?
01:26:58 What are you doing?
01:26:59 Like, he would make fun of me in the locker room all the time.
01:27:01 And one time, I was in the shower,
01:27:03 and I showed him, like, hey, Springs,
01:27:05 I trimmed all the way up.
01:27:07 Look, he goes, Edelman, don't you ever talk to me
01:27:09 in the shower and make me look at you again.
01:27:11 Like, he started making fun of me.
01:27:12 Like, oh, what the fuck am I doing?
01:27:15 Yeah, that is true.
01:27:16 He was, like, in his 14th year.
01:27:18 He was like, you know, he ventured into Sean Springs.
01:27:20 I was, like, second year in the league.
01:27:21 He'd make fun of me all day.
01:27:22 It was funny.
01:27:23 Yeah, you got to shower with the guys.
01:27:24 Yeah, shower moments are fun.
01:27:25 Yeah.
01:27:25 Yeah, was it after-- would it be after, like, a special game
01:27:28 that Brady would be like, you know what?
01:27:29 I'm going to shower with the boys?
01:27:30 Give him a treat.
01:27:32 Well, I mean, he had to shower in away games.
01:27:35 Away games, you have to shower.
01:27:36 Right.
01:27:37 Yeah, that makes sense.
01:27:38 That'd be gross if he didn't.
01:27:39 So I think he just wanted to go home and shower.
01:27:41 Like, he probably had, like, the craziest shower at his house.
01:27:44 Like, something insane where he has, like--
01:27:47 So three showers.
01:27:47 --like, hydrated water.
01:27:48 Yeah, so when the schedule would come out,
01:27:50 you would circle all the away games being like, nice.
01:27:53 I'm going to get to shower with Brady these days.
01:27:55 Yeah, yeah, you're so-- yeah, yeah, so good.
01:27:58 So good, bro.
01:27:59 All right, serious question, because we haven't had you
01:28:02 on since it happened.
01:28:03 But the Dynasty Doc, it was a little crazy.
01:28:07 We had Belichick's back.
01:28:09 It felt like a very slanted against him.
01:28:12 When you were watching it, were you like, I lived half of this,
01:28:15 and it's not exactly how it went?
01:28:18 I mean--
01:28:19 Yeah, I mean, it was--
01:28:21 I don't know.
01:28:23 It was pretty clickbaity, where they just
01:28:26 wanted to go over everything that people want to see.
01:28:30 They hated us for a long time.
01:28:33 And they fed it, and it is what it is.
01:28:35 You know what I mean?
01:28:37 They just kind of, like, brushed over, like, the great games
01:28:42 that we had, like the Troy Brown game where Tom
01:28:45 throws the interception.
01:28:47 They're about to lose against San Diego, Troy, Strips.
01:28:49 Like, we didn't see any of that stuff.
01:28:51 Like, I don't know.
01:28:53 But it's also-- it's Hollywood.
01:28:55 You know, they got to do what they got to do to make it sell.
01:28:59 Yeah, no, it's hard to do a documentary--
01:29:01 like, there's definitely something to be said.
01:29:03 Like, you can't do a documentary where it's just like,
01:29:05 oh, they won, and then they won again, and then they won again.
01:29:07 Because no one-- everyone would be like, well, what the fuck?
01:29:09 We want to see the other stuff.
01:29:11 But it did feel like more other stuff than win.
01:29:14 Yeah.
01:29:15 The crazy thing is, we all did those interviews.
01:29:18 And that's when Bill was still under the team.
01:29:20 So I think he had to do it.
01:29:22 Yes, he was out.
01:29:23 That's what we were saying.
01:29:24 It's like, Mr. Kraft asked him one day.
01:29:26 He doesn't get to have his-- you know what I mean?
01:29:28 But it's been really awesome to see, because of all this stuff,
01:29:31 Bill's kind of opened up just to go out and do
01:29:34 some of these TV things.
01:29:35 And he's been doing stuff with McAfee.
01:29:37 And, you know, it's been cool to see him open up a little bit
01:29:40 and show people, like, yeah, I'm not--
01:29:42 yeah, I'm an asshole.
01:29:43 But it's fun.
01:29:44 You know what I mean?
01:29:45 Like, it's--
01:29:46 Yeah, yeah.
01:29:47 I'm a football coach.
01:29:48 Look how much information I know.
01:29:49 Yeah, yeah.
01:29:50 He knows a lot.
01:29:51 He's a genius.
01:29:52 So, yeah, in the documentary, Hank
01:29:56 was saying that there's not enough, like, Patriots porn.
01:29:58 It feels like they did make a documentary almost more
01:30:01 for the Patriots haters, because there are more of them
01:30:04 than there are Patriots fans.
01:30:05 But there was one part that featured you that was, like,
01:30:08 just pure Super Bowl Patriots porn,
01:30:11 when you made that catch against the Falcons.
01:30:13 And then you immediately jumped up.
01:30:14 You're like, nah, bro, I caught it,
01:30:16 right in the defender's face.
01:30:17 He's like, no, you dropped it.
01:30:18 And you're like, bro, I caught it.
01:30:19 And it was just like a nice little back and forth there.
01:30:22 When you watch that play on replay,
01:30:25 when you see a replay of it, do you pause it and rewind it
01:30:27 and rewatch it again?
01:30:28 Because if I were you, I would just--
01:30:29 I would watch that shit all the time.
01:30:31 Be like, look what I did.
01:30:32 No, not at all.
01:30:33 I honestly-- it's a lucky play.
01:30:35 Like, I don't-- like, I like watching plays that, like,
01:30:38 I got blown up or something.
01:30:39 And I hung on the ball.
01:30:40 Like, Cam Chamster lit me up.
01:30:42 Like, I always like that play.
01:30:43 But not really.
01:30:46 That game, that was a bad route.
01:30:47 So I don't like that play.
01:30:49 Oh, you fucked up?
01:30:50 Bad process.
01:30:51 Good result.
01:30:52 I bananaed my route.
01:30:54 It's a middle read.
01:30:56 And, you know, with cover five, you've
01:30:58 got to go to the near upright of the post.
01:31:01 You know what I mean?
01:31:02 If there is one safety, then you take it to the numbers.
01:31:05 And it becomes more like a fade.
01:31:07 But right here, you're trying to put pressure on the two--
01:31:09 on the two high safety.
01:31:10 So, you know, you want to really try to get him--
01:31:14 the defender, he's got inside leverage.
01:31:16 I want-- you got to-- you got to, like--
01:31:17 I bananaed my route.
01:31:19 You got to make him feel like you're hitting that--
01:31:21 that bow route.
01:31:23 And then he undercuts.
01:31:25 And then you get-- you get open.
01:31:26 And I just kind of--
01:31:27 I mean, it was a bad route.
01:31:29 So I don't like it.
01:31:30 Who's that?
01:31:32 Oh, it's Brandon Marshall.
01:31:33 What's up, B Marshall?
01:31:34 How we doing, buddy?
01:31:35 Yeah, you got the hood on.
01:31:36 Brandon Marshall hit me up-- literally hit me up on Thursday.
01:31:39 30 minutes before, he's like, hey, bro,
01:31:41 I'm staying at your house from Thursday to Monday.
01:31:43 He's cool.
01:31:44 I'm like, sure.
01:31:45 Is this a real show right now?
01:31:46 He did the same thing with us.
01:31:48 B Marshall, he came to the Chicago office.
01:31:50 And then, like, four days later, he was still coming in.
01:31:53 I was like, do you work here now?
01:31:54 He's like, no, I'm using your podcast studio.
01:31:56 I was like, oh, OK, cool.
01:31:58 This is Rocky.
01:31:59 Hey, Rocky.
01:32:00 What's up, Rocky?
01:32:01 Big cat.
01:32:02 Y'all was making me meals and everything.
01:32:03 I know.
01:32:04 You're welcome back anytime.
01:32:06 Yeah.
01:32:06 Yeah, anytime.
01:32:07 Hold on, time out.
01:32:08 Walk in Jules' house first off.
01:32:09 This house is, like, the best house
01:32:12 I've ever seen in the world.
01:32:13 He's super rich.
01:32:16 But I thought you were retired.
01:32:18 Why are you still talking football?
01:32:19 He's like, you ain't got a bow route.
01:32:20 You talking about bow routes right now?
01:32:22 He fucked up that round in the Super Bowl.
01:32:23 Yeah, he keeps on asking about the catch.
01:32:25 I hate that play because I--
01:32:27 middle read, I didn't bop my guy to the bow route.
01:32:30 I've abandoned my route.
01:32:31 And that's like the coach-- that's
01:32:32 like one thing you can't do.
01:32:35 This is so--
01:32:35 Because it was like our 97th play.
01:32:37 Like, we had a 97-play game for offense, which you're cooked.
01:32:41 I mean, they literally ran out of gas.
01:32:43 Wait, you're--
01:32:44 That's why you weren't.
01:32:45 They'll bump into a real slow.
01:32:46 This is like so Belichick of you, though,
01:32:47 because it makes me think that at one point,
01:32:51 Belichick might have brought up that catch the next year
01:32:53 and been like, Edelman, this is not how you run the route.
01:32:56 Even though it was like--
01:32:57 Nah, he never did that.
01:32:58 OK, all right.
01:32:59 Nah, he never did that.
01:32:59 That would be very Belichick.
01:33:00 He never did that.
01:33:01 I've always wondered, do you watch film of the Super Bowl?
01:33:03 Do you break that down and learn from it?
01:33:04 Because, like, it's a new team the next year.
01:33:06 Do you even, like, go back?
01:33:07 You know what I do?
01:33:09 During Super Bowl time, I watched the NFL Network.
01:33:12 And, like, they always have, you know, like, the old games on.
01:33:16 And I just watched the old games, like, the TV copies.
01:33:19 Because, A, I've never seen really a lot of the TV copies
01:33:21 when I was playing.
01:33:23 And, B, it's good to reference, like, for, like-- it brings up
01:33:26 my memories back.
01:33:27 Like, oh, shit, yeah, I remember that situation,
01:33:29 this game right here.
01:33:30 And then it's good for, like, when I talk TV and talk
01:33:33 to you guys and stuff.
01:33:34 So it's-- I like--
01:33:36 I'm a fan of the game.
01:33:37 So you watch all these--
01:33:38 the old cut-ups are crazy.
01:33:39 Like, then you get to AFC Champion-- or Championship Week.
01:33:42 They have all the old AFC Championship Weeks and stuff.
01:33:44 I think it's fun.
01:33:45 Yeah.
01:33:46 One last question about the documentary.
01:33:47 You were going to tell us why Malcolm Butler was
01:33:49 benched for the Super Bowl.
01:33:50 Oh, yeah.
01:33:51 [LAUGHS]
01:33:51 I have no clue, bro.
01:33:53 No one knows.
01:33:54 I was on the team.
01:33:55 So no one knows.
01:33:56 I was-- I was away from the team, bro.
01:33:58 I was so mad, actually, because I had--
01:33:59 I tore my ACL that year.
01:34:00 Yeah, you were with us.
01:34:01 And-- yeah, I remember I was with you.
01:34:04 And it was like I couldn't even go to the team hotel.
01:34:06 Like, they put me out in this other team--
01:34:08 the family hotel.
01:34:10 Like, I was so pissed, man.
01:34:11 I had to, like, go 45 minutes.
01:34:13 Yeah.
01:34:14 Not part of the show.
01:34:15 Yeah.
01:34:16 Don't even know why.
01:34:17 Yeah.
01:34:17 Don't even know why.
01:34:18 I remember you came on radio.
01:34:19 And I was like, how's it going?
01:34:20 How are the guys feeling?
01:34:21 And you were just like, I don't know.
01:34:22 Like, I'm not with them.
01:34:23 I'm not allowed to be with them.
01:34:24 Yeah.
01:34:24 It's fucking--
01:34:25 Yeah.
01:34:26 They're-- they're, like, all--
01:34:27 they were in the game, bro.
01:34:28 Yeah.
01:34:29 All right, so we have to ask you.
01:34:31 And you have to-- you have to pump up Hank.
01:34:33 He's not super excited about Drake May.
01:34:37 And partially your fault, right?
01:34:39 You know what?
01:34:40 He's been growing on me.
01:34:42 Drake's been growing on me.
01:34:43 OK.
01:34:44 I like the whole basketball-- rented out basketball gym
01:34:47 night of.
01:34:48 Dude's a competitor.
01:34:48 I heard he was, like, one of the best--
01:34:50 I heard he was the best golfer at that one visit
01:34:53 where they were going to Topgolf with the teams and stuff.
01:34:56 Like, he went up and he's got, like--
01:34:58 This has nothing to do with football.
01:34:59 Wouldn't you like him to not be excellent at golf?
01:35:01 Nah, it has nothing to do with football.
01:35:02 Those are the types of things that, like, you know,
01:35:05 the competitive dudes that like to compete when
01:35:08 it's, like, a hairy situation.
01:35:11 Those guys aren't scared of that-- that moment.
01:35:13 Now, I'm not saying that guy's there,
01:35:15 but, like, those little stories, if you--
01:35:17 I don't know if they're coming out of nowhere.
01:35:18 I've started to hear them more.
01:35:20 Yeah.
01:35:21 Sitting at the-- he sat-- he sat with the people
01:35:23 today at the Bruins.
01:35:24 Yeah.
01:35:25 Not-- not-- he sat in-- he sat in, like,
01:35:26 the regular seats at the Bruins.
01:35:28 Didn't sit in the suite.
01:35:29 Man of the people.
01:35:30 Yeah.
01:35:31 OK.
01:35:32 It's-- ultimately, I mean, it's--
01:35:33 this is the-- this is not just, you know, on him.
01:35:37 You know, this is on, you know, now Wolf,
01:35:40 who's the general manager.
01:35:41 You got to get him playmakers.
01:35:43 We got-- you know, this is also on the developmental of,
01:35:46 you know, the coaching staff.
01:35:48 You know, Van Drake, or the new OC they have.
01:35:50 Like, this is-- that's going to be his job.
01:35:52 They brought in Ben McAdoo, so he's
01:35:54 going to be, like, probably working with the quarterback
01:35:56 and help developing this guy.
01:35:58 So, you know, this is a team effort
01:36:00 when you have a young quarterback.
01:36:01 And I never really got to experience one.
01:36:03 Yeah, what about the allegations, again, from Hank,
01:36:05 that he throws a very heavy ball?
01:36:07 Heavy.
01:36:07 The ball looks heavy in his hands.
01:36:09 I like he's-- he's big, though.
01:36:11 Yeah.
01:36:12 So you think he just--
01:36:13 Like, when he-- he--
01:36:14 Has a heavier ball?
01:36:16 No, I mean, I got to--
01:36:18 I got to catch it.
01:36:19 I'll let you guys know.
01:36:20 I'm probably going to go check out a camp.
01:36:21 Yeah.
01:36:22 I'll give you a little update on it.
01:36:23 OK.
01:36:24 I got to go catch it.
01:36:25 You know, hey, I threw a Drew Bledsoe.
01:36:27 I was about to say that.
01:36:27 Yeah.
01:36:28 That was crazy.
01:36:29 He was throwing 1,000 miles an hour.
01:36:31 He was playing it, bro.
01:36:31 Yeah.
01:36:32 Yeah.
01:36:33 It looked good.
01:36:34 Did you ask him to do that?
01:36:35 Or was he just like, here's a-- here's a-- here's a catch.
01:36:37 Here, it's going 90 miles an hour.
01:36:39 No, we were-- we were literally--
01:36:41 we did the podcast.
01:36:43 And then we went out in the backyard,
01:36:44 and we were drinking wine.
01:36:45 He's a-- he's a big wine guy.
01:36:46 You know, Doubleback, I think, is his-- his wine company.
01:36:50 And we-- and there was a ball there.
01:36:52 And we just started throwing.
01:36:54 I was like, I want to catch Drew's ball.
01:36:55 I want to see how it feels.
01:36:56 And it's-- that dude's got the centrifugal force on his ball.
01:36:59 Those are like big-handed guys.
01:37:01 When the-- when the ball's speed is spinning fast, you know,
01:37:04 and he can just flick it.
01:37:06 Mm-hmm. Is it-- is it--
01:37:07 I mean, he can still--
01:37:08 he's 50 years old.
01:37:09 Yeah. Is it weird--
01:37:10 And he can still-- he can still zing it.
01:37:12 Yeah.
01:37:13 Is it weird when you-- when you-- when you're hanging out
01:37:14 with a guy like Drew Bledsoe?
01:37:15 Because you never played with him.
01:37:17 But it's like-- - Yeah.
01:37:18 --kind of going back to, like, the divorce with--
01:37:20 with your divorced child with Robert Kraft and Belichick.
01:37:24 When you-- when you meet Drew Bledsoe, you're like, oh,
01:37:27 it's like your long-lost brother.
01:37:28 Like, we had the same dad.
01:37:30 We know-- we-- we-- we were born under the same thing.
01:37:33 But we never really, like, bonded.
01:37:34 But you have, like, all these common things.
01:37:37 100%.
01:37:38 And, you know, I--
01:37:41 you know, Drew was around a lot.
01:37:42 He would always-- I saw--
01:37:43 I met him early in my career.
01:37:45 And, you know, he--
01:37:48 well, you guys don't realize Drew Bledsoe was, like,
01:37:50 the biggest guy in New England.
01:37:52 You know what I mean?
01:37:53 Like, he was the guy.
01:37:54 People loved him here.
01:37:56 And they still do.
01:37:57 And, you know, with how he's handled that whole situation,
01:38:00 that's the real Patriot way right there.
01:38:01 Doing-- we used to have a sign on that said,
01:38:03 mental toughness, doing what's best for the team when it may
01:38:06 not be best for you.
01:38:09 Walk by it every day, you know?
01:38:10 And he-- he's an example of that, you know?
01:38:13 A lot of guys could have handled that situation
01:38:15 a lot differently.
01:38:16 And he seemed-- you know, just from hearing stories
01:38:18 and talking with guys, he was always a good teammate.
01:38:20 Yeah, he seemed--
01:38:21 --even with that whole thing.
01:38:22 He seems like he's got-- he's got a good head on his shoulders.
01:38:24 It's-- it's funny, because it's like, do your job.
01:38:26 But in his case, his job was to no longer do his job.
01:38:28 Yeah.
01:38:29 But he did that job really well.
01:38:31 But I'm just telling you guys, the guy's like 50 years old.
01:38:34 And when-- when you see him, he looks like a number one draft
01:38:37 pick.
01:38:37 Oh, yeah.
01:38:38 Looks good in shorts.
01:38:40 No, he was in jeans.
01:38:41 But he could still-- he was slinging that.
01:38:43 Like, he's just a big, burly, like, white man.
01:38:45 Yeah.
01:38:46 You know, like a country mountain man.
01:38:48 I've got just, like, an idea that just came to me.
01:38:51 You were talking about, like, I got to catch Drake's ball.
01:38:53 You should do like Dave does pizza reviews.
01:38:55 You should just do ball reviews.
01:38:57 Yeah.
01:38:58 You just catch a ball from somebody,
01:38:59 and then you rate the ball.
01:39:00 How good was that ball?
01:39:01 That's not a bad idea.
01:39:02 Yeah.
01:39:03 You could even throw in some, like, blind--
01:39:05 like, just to, like--
01:39:06 obviously, you got to catch people's balls,
01:39:08 current NFLers, but, like, doing, like, a throwback blind
01:39:12 ball catching video, where it's like, ooh, I think that was,
01:39:15 like, ah, I think that was Bledsoe's ball.
01:39:17 Ooh, that might have been an Elway.
01:39:19 Yeah.
01:39:20 You get smoked right in the face.
01:39:21 Could you tell the difference?
01:39:22 Just-- if you were blindfolded, and you
01:39:24 caught one of Brady's balls, and then we blindfolded you,
01:39:27 caught one of Jimmy G's balls, could you tell?
01:39:31 I-- I mean, you wouldn't be able to catch it.
01:39:34 But if-- if there was a situation or scenario
01:39:37 where you could actually do that, where I could see,
01:39:39 but, like--
01:39:40 Maybe they're behind a net.
01:39:41 Maybe they're behind a net.
01:39:42 Like, the--
01:39:43 You could feel the ball.
01:39:44 Yeah.
01:39:44 You could definitely feel the ball.
01:39:45 It's different.
01:39:46 Oh.
01:39:47 Like, I could feel the difference between Hoyer's ball.
01:39:48 You could feel the difference between Jimmy G's ball,
01:39:50 Cam's ball.
01:39:51 Yeah.
01:39:52 You could feel the difference.
01:39:53 And then Tebow came in.
01:39:54 I wouldn't even let him throw it, because he
01:39:55 goes opposite speed.
01:39:56 Or opposite side.
01:39:58 I mean, you don't--
01:39:58 I don't want to get used to that other centrifugal force.
01:40:02 Yeah.
01:40:02 Who had the nicest balls?
01:40:04 You know who actually threw a real catchable ball?
01:40:07 Brian Hoyer did.
01:40:08 Yeah.
01:40:09 Axel.
01:40:09 He-- he had-- he-- he-- he had this little--
01:40:11 little pat thing.
01:40:12 He threw a real catchable ball.
01:40:15 Mallet used to throw a real heavy, heavy, like, hard ball.
01:40:18 Yeah.
01:40:19 Hard ball.
01:40:20 He had a-- like, a little arm.
01:40:21 Yeah.
01:40:22 He had an arm.
01:40:23 But-- yeah.
01:40:25 That's good.
01:40:26 I like that.
01:40:26 Ball reviews.
01:40:27 I got some draft analysis for you.
01:40:28 If you could, like, if you're looking at these three
01:40:32 prospects, which one really jumps off the page to you,
01:40:36 in terms of how they're going to fit in in the NFL,
01:40:38 given your experience?
01:40:39 Cooper Dejean, right?
01:40:42 McCaffrey, Luke McCaffrey, and then Ladd McConkey.
01:40:48 Are those all white guys, right?
01:40:49 Yeah.
01:40:50 I don't know.
01:40:50 I don't know.
01:40:51 Don't say that.
01:40:52 So what is the question?
01:40:54 Which one of those guys reminds you the most of you?
01:40:58 Oh, they are white.
01:40:59 They are all white.
01:41:00 Yeah, they're all white.
01:41:00 None of them.
01:41:02 None of them do?
01:41:03 None of them.
01:41:03 Because they're all kind of big.
01:41:06 And that corner guy is, like, a wave faster than I ever was.
01:41:10 Yeah.
01:41:11 And then the McCaffrey, he's taller.
01:41:13 He's, like, more like Ed.
01:41:14 He's like his dad.
01:41:15 His body type's different.
01:41:16 Yeah.
01:41:17 Yeah.
01:41:18 All right.
01:41:19 Well, Jules, I got one last question.
01:41:20 Thank you again.
01:41:21 It's been awesome.
01:41:21 We love having you on every time.
01:41:23 It is the ROWBACK question.
01:41:25 RHOBACK.com.
01:41:27 Promo code TAKE.
01:41:28 20% off your first purchase.
01:41:29 Q-Zips, Polos, Hoodies, Joggers, Shorts, ROWBACK.com.
01:41:33 We will hopefully see you maybe grit week,
01:41:36 which we haven't announced exactly.
01:41:37 Yeah, in Chicago?
01:41:38 All you guys are coming here.
01:41:39 Possibly.
01:41:40 Possibly.
01:41:40 I actually asked--
01:41:41 I got to get out to Chicago.
01:41:42 You do.
01:41:43 You do.
01:41:44 I asked Jules, I was like, where are you going to be in August?
01:41:48 And he's like, you mean, like, will I be in America?
01:41:50 And I was like, OK, let's start there.
01:41:52 Yeah, like, will you be in America?
01:41:53 He's like, yeah, I think so.
01:41:54 All right, cool.
01:41:55 Us too.
01:41:56 But--
01:41:57 It's travel month.
01:41:57 That's right before the season.
01:41:59 You know, you got things going.
01:42:00 Yeah.
01:42:01 You got to get a thing out.
01:42:02 Then you clamp down, football season in.
01:42:04 You got to buckle in.
01:42:05 That's true.
01:42:06 25 weeks.
01:42:07 All right, so ROWBACK question.
01:42:10 The last question I had for you was--
01:42:13 we kind of skirted by it, but like, how many jokes
01:42:16 do you think out of, let's say, 100
01:42:18 did Gronk actually process?
01:42:21 He knew them all.
01:42:22 No.
01:42:24 Yes.
01:42:24 I actually had a joke where I was going to incorporate Gronk
01:42:27 because he gets a rap for being--
01:42:30 it was like, this is one of the jokes.
01:42:34 I was going to have Gronk in on it.
01:42:36 I would have been like, you know,
01:42:37 everyone has this big old thing out for Gronk
01:42:40 that he's kind of a dumb-- like, a simple guy, a dumb-dumb.
01:42:44 And it's not true.
01:42:45 He's actually a savant with numbers.
01:42:46 Watch, Gronk with 69 minus 37.
01:42:50 32.
01:42:51 That's right, Gronk.
01:42:52 The same number of teams that rather lose than have
01:42:54 a conversation with Coach Belichick.
01:42:57 Oh, that's a good one.
01:42:58 Yeah.
01:42:59 Should have done that.
01:43:00 I know.
01:43:01 But you would have had to-- he would
01:43:02 have had to nail that 32.
01:43:03 Yeah, is that why you didn't do it?
01:43:04 No, he would have got it.
01:43:05 I'm telling you right now, Gronk knows numbers, bro.
01:43:07 I'm telling you.
01:43:08 I think he just knows 69-based math.
01:43:11 Like, he knows 69 minus any number.
01:43:14 This guy, he can count-- dude, I'm telling you.
01:43:16 Whenever we used to talk contracts, like, whenever we--
01:43:20 I would always bust his balls.
01:43:22 Like, yo, watch.
01:43:22 What square root is this, Gronk?
01:43:24 144.
01:43:24 He's like 12, dude.
01:43:27 Like, he really knows numbers pretty well, dude.
01:43:29 Listen, I think he is smarter than people give him credit for.
01:43:33 He did not understand Kevin Hart's 3/5 joke.
01:43:37 That one he didn't get.
01:43:41 Because you forget to-- this was on live TV.
01:43:43 So they had--
01:43:44 That one he didn't get.
01:43:45 Gronk, like, seven or eight times.
01:43:47 But sometimes you couldn't hear.
01:43:47 Yeah.
01:43:48 Yeah.
01:43:49 Yeah, sometimes you couldn't hear.
01:43:50 The speakers are in front of you,
01:43:52 or they were in front of you.
01:43:53 So sometimes, even though they're close,
01:43:54 you wouldn't hear.
01:43:55 You'd hear the reaction before you hear the joke.
01:43:57 He is the best, though.
01:43:58 Like, it was-- I was saying I wanted just a mic'd up episode
01:44:01 of "The Roast" just to him.
01:44:02 Because, like, his-- and his roast, just--
01:44:05 him just being Gronk is so fucking funny.
01:44:08 He's just the best.
01:44:09 He's the man.
01:44:10 He's honestly the most genuine, like, lovable dude.
01:44:13 Yeah.
01:44:13 Yeah, we love-- my last--
01:44:14 Great energy.
01:44:15 Last question for me.
01:44:16 Just who out of the non-comedians
01:44:18 do you think had the best set?
01:44:19 And you can't say the ones that we talked about.
01:44:21 You can't say Drew Bledsoe.
01:44:23 And you can't say-- you can't say Gronk.
01:44:24 I think Nikki Glaser killed it.
01:44:26 Well, she's a comedian, though.
01:44:27 Oh, wow, that was misogynistic of you.
01:44:30 No, but she literally--
01:44:31 I thought her jokes were--
01:44:32 did you say, oh, non-players was the best?
01:44:35 Non-comedians.
01:44:35 Yeah, yeah.
01:44:36 And you just were like, oh, that chick was pretty funny.
01:44:39 That was crazy.
01:44:40 She was-- I thought she was the best.
01:44:42 She was the best.
01:44:43 She was the best.
01:44:44 Yeah, but who of the non-comedians?
01:44:45 So what athlete?
01:44:46 Or athlete?
01:44:47 Athlete or actor.
01:44:49 We know it wasn't Ben Affleck, so we can scratch that one off.
01:44:52 Definitely not.
01:44:53 [LAUGHTER]
01:44:55 I didn't even get that thing.
01:44:56 It was weird.
01:44:57 It was so bizarre.
01:44:58 He was just like, you fucking keyboard warrior.
01:45:00 Yeah, I was like, who are you roasting?
01:45:03 Yeah, I can't say Drew.
01:45:07 I thought Tom did well.
01:45:08 Yeah.
01:45:09 I thought that Kanye joke was good.
01:45:10 Yeah, it was.
01:45:11 About Kim.
01:45:12 It was great.
01:45:12 I also thought Tom did a good job of, at the end,
01:45:15 you didn't want him to--
01:45:17 he did what he should have done, being like, fuck all of you.
01:45:20 I'm Tom Brady.
01:45:21 Yeah.
01:45:21 You know what I mean?
01:45:22 Yeah.
01:45:23 He didn't play like, oh, it's kind of--
01:45:26 like, I'm a humble guy.
01:45:27 He's like, no, no.
01:45:28 I'm Tom Brady, which that was what he should have done.
01:45:31 Dude, the guy wins.
01:45:33 It's crazy.
01:45:33 We went on a Fox retreat for NFL Fox, all the dogs and stuff.
01:45:39 Terry, Howie, Toge.
01:45:41 Tom was out there.
01:45:42 Burkhart.
01:45:43 And we were playing this game, LRC.
01:45:47 And for 45 minutes, Tom was out.
01:45:49 You know what I mean?
01:45:50 Have you guys played that game?
01:45:52 What is that?
01:45:53 What is it?
01:45:54 There's three dice, and then there's dots.
01:45:56 Oh, yes.
01:45:56 And if you put the R, you should pass it right, left, left.
01:46:00 Dude fully won it in front of everyone.
01:46:03 And everyone's like, oh my god, it's really true.
01:46:05 This guy wins at everything.
01:46:06 And his first introduction to the Fox team,
01:46:11 you know what I mean?
01:46:12 Like really all of us kind of hanging out.
01:46:14 And it was just like, everyone's like, oh my god, is he Jesus?
01:46:17 I heard Greg Olson's really good at that game too.
01:46:19 He wasn't invited to that.
01:46:22 I don't know what you're talking about.
01:46:24 Jules, you're the best.
01:46:26 I don't know what you're talking about.
01:46:28 You're the best, man.
01:46:29 And hopefully we see you soon.
01:46:30 And everyone do go watch and subscribe to Games with Names.
01:46:34 The Ernie Adams episode, start there.
01:46:36 It was awesome.
01:46:37 The Bledsoe episode was just really good.
01:46:39 We went on all the Rose stuff.
01:46:41 Matt Light episode is going to be epic.
01:46:43 This dude was-- he was a nut, bro.
01:46:46 And then how about Brandon Marshall literally hit me up
01:46:48 like two days ago, three days ago.
01:46:50 He's been like, all right, come over.
01:46:52 Which-- are you going to do an episode with him?
01:46:55 We already did an episode.
01:46:56 We did the-- we did the--
01:46:57 we did the Pro Bowl when he got Pro Bowl MVP.
01:47:00 You should-- you should do--
01:47:01 you should-- you should be like, hey, tomorrow,
01:47:03 can we do the episode where it was like maybe like week six.
01:47:08 It was Bears-Dolphins.
01:47:11 And he got in--
01:47:12 allegedly got in a screaming match with Robbie Gold
01:47:14 after the game in the locker room.
01:47:16 You should see if he'll do that one.
01:47:18 We got like embarrassed.
01:47:20 And it was like a--
01:47:20 it was like a real low.
01:47:22 And it was like Brandon Marshall fights with kicker.
01:47:25 You should do that.
01:47:26 Oh, man.
01:47:28 Nah, I'm not-- I'm bringing it up.
01:47:29 Do it.
01:47:30 I just like the fact that Brandon Marshall was hanging
01:47:32 out at your house.
01:47:32 And then he walks by.
01:47:33 And he's also got a football in his hand.
01:47:35 Yeah.
01:47:35 He's like, yeah, play--
01:47:36 it's me, Brandon Marshall, the football player.
01:47:37 We're just playing football.
01:47:39 Yeah.
01:47:39 No, we-- there is--
01:47:40 we do have balls around the house.
01:47:42 Yeah.
01:47:43 Because we do our podcast here.
01:47:44 And like if we need like a five-minute break,
01:47:46 you know, you got five minute-- all right, fellas,
01:47:49 we got five minutes.
01:47:49 Toss.
01:47:50 Just get a little air.
01:47:51 Throw the ball around.
01:47:52 I love it.
01:47:53 Yeah, you're living the life.
01:47:54 Podcast studio in your house.
01:47:55 That's everyone's dream.
01:47:57 All right, Jules, thanks so much, man.
01:47:58 Appreciate it.

01:48:00 And we'll see you soon, hopefully.

01:48:54 And now, here's Blake Bortles.
01:48:57 OK, we now welcome on our very, very, very good friend,
01:49:01 recurring guest, part of my take legend is Blake Bortles.
01:49:04 We figured we have to have him on before we
01:49:05 do Blake of the Year in a month and a half.
01:49:07 Get him prepped.
01:49:09 We were talking before.
01:49:10 You noted we always have Bortles with us in the background
01:49:13 with his jersey.
01:49:15 And PFT mentioned that we have the Saints, the Packers.
01:49:19 We don't have a Broncos one.
01:49:21 Now, the question to you is, should we
01:49:23 get a Broncos Blake Bortles jersey,
01:49:25 or should we get the guy who had to start that game because you
01:49:29 gave everyone COVID?
01:49:31 Kendall Hinton.
01:49:32 Yeah, it was also not my fault. I couldn't--
01:49:34 I was thinking about that when you mentioned it, though.
01:49:36 I don't know what number I was in Denver.
01:49:40 Did you ever-- you didn't get-- did you play--
01:49:42 you didn't play a game, did you?
01:49:43 I never dressed because I got there,
01:49:47 I was inactive for like the first two or three weeks,
01:49:51 and then I was on practice squad.
01:49:52 And then for like 45 minutes, I was
01:49:54 going to start against the Saints,
01:49:56 and then I got blamed for everybody getting COVID.
01:49:58 Kendall Hinton got to start.
01:49:59 You did have five.
01:50:00 You had five.
01:50:02 Wait, yeah, OK.
01:50:03 So when you go to Denver, and like the punter or the kicker
01:50:06 has number five, are you like, hey, can I get your number?
01:50:10 No, I did.
01:50:11 At that point in my career, I was fine wearing
01:50:13 like Mike Winchell 20.
01:50:15 I didn't care.
01:50:17 All right, so first of all, I just
01:50:20 want to say apologies for that Bruins Panthers over
01:50:24 because we were texting before.
01:50:25 And you're like, yeah, I'm ready to go.
01:50:26 I'm just sitting on my couch watching, hoping for goals.
01:50:29 I don't know anything about hockey.
01:50:31 That's basically everyone at this time of year,
01:50:33 where it's like, oh, let me turn on this hockey game.
01:50:36 They score goals, and then it's the playoffs.
01:50:37 It's like, fuck, this sucks.
01:50:40 It is tough.
01:50:41 I've gotten murdered.
01:50:42 I've lost-- like, I love hockey.
01:50:43 I don't know a ton about it.
01:50:45 Like, I know kind of the basics and obviously the rules.
01:50:48 And I've gotten to know guys that are playing,
01:50:50 and the stars, obviously, of the league.
01:50:51 I listen to Spitting Chicklets here and there.
01:50:53 So it's kind of where my knowledge comes from.
01:50:55 But I'm just donating money at this point.
01:50:57 What have you been up to recently?
01:50:59 I feel like we haven't heard from Bortles for a long time.
01:51:02 Are you picking up any new hobbies?
01:51:04 I'm trying things out.
01:51:06 I'm trying just random things, hoping to find something.
01:51:09 Play golf will always be a hobby of mine.
01:51:11 I got two little kids who are doing that.
01:51:12 Still building a house that's hopefully
01:51:16 going to be done here soon.
01:51:17 And then outside of that, just random stuff.
01:51:20 I played tennis a couple of times.
01:51:22 I found out that wasn't for me.
01:51:24 I'm in to just trying things.
01:51:27 I'm working on getting into maybe some jujitsu or something.
01:51:30 I'm going to see how that goes.
01:51:31 I'm looking for stuff.
01:51:33 Tennis is very boring, I've found.
01:51:36 It is.
01:51:38 It was.
01:51:38 And it was also--
01:51:40 our daughter plays tennis.
01:51:41 So it was like, all right, let me see if--
01:51:43 I'll do this too so we can play together.
01:51:46 And I did it for an hour one day.
01:51:48 And I think I made contact with 50% of the balls
01:51:51 and was dead tired in 35 minutes.
01:51:53 And it's like, yeah, I'll play pickleball.
01:51:55 Every time I play tennis, I'm just like,
01:51:57 I'll play for like 10 minutes.
01:51:58 And then the thought will cross my head
01:52:00 and be like, this would be so much sicker
01:52:03 if it was Home Run Derby.
01:52:04 Yeah.
01:52:04 [LAUGHTER]
01:52:06 Because every now and then you accidentally
01:52:08 hit one out of the fence.
01:52:10 And it's just like, I'd rather do that.
01:52:12 Yeah, you're like, holy shit, I'm strong.
01:52:15 I also just can't serve, which you just
01:52:17 can't play if you can't serve.
01:52:19 I can hit it hard, but I just can't hit it in that square.
01:52:22 That's the thing about tennis.
01:52:22 They say it's like a really good cardio workout.
01:52:25 But it's not at all if you stink at it.
01:52:26 Yeah.
01:52:27 You're just getting started.
01:52:28 Then it's like just the most boring standing around thing
01:52:30 ever.
01:52:31 No, you're just one and done every time.
01:52:33 Yeah.
01:52:34 All right, so the other thing I was wondering,
01:52:37 all three of us have new quarterbacks on this show,
01:52:40 PFT, Hank, and I. You were a new quarterback at one point.
01:52:45 If we ever meet our new quarterbacks,
01:52:47 what should we tell them?
01:52:48 The Blake Bortles, hey, this is what
01:52:50 you do if you're drafted high and you
01:52:52 have an entire city expecting things out of you.
01:52:56 So who do you--
01:52:57 you have Caleb Williams.
01:52:59 I actually got to meet because he
01:53:00 was training like 10 minutes from our house
01:53:03 here in Florida.
01:53:06 Awesome kid.
01:53:07 Yes.
01:53:08 PFT has--
01:53:10 Jaden Daniels.
01:53:11 Jaden Daniels, stud.
01:53:13 And Hank has Drake May in New England, right?
01:53:18 Yeah, I don't know.
01:53:19 I mean, I feel like the young-- it's changed so much.
01:53:23 Like it was-- it used to be come and sit,
01:53:25 hang out like the Aaron Rodgers deal.
01:53:27 Like that was kind of supposed to be what I did
01:53:29 and ended up playing earlier than expected, which was great
01:53:33 and learned a lot through experience
01:53:34 and a ton of failures.
01:53:36 And then I feel like my home's kind of just
01:53:37 changed the game on the expectations of how you're
01:53:40 supposed to play right away.
01:53:42 If you ever meet him, I don't know.
01:53:45 Tell him you love him and he's doing great.
01:53:48 That's good.
01:53:49 That's good advice.
01:53:51 Just positivity, man.
01:53:52 Kid's going through a lot.
01:53:54 It's probably not going to go great right away.
01:53:56 And let's stick to it.
01:53:57 Keep working.
01:53:58 You'll be fine.
01:53:59 Yeah, what was it like just getting
01:54:01 started with the Jaguars?
01:54:02 Like when you go into the building, what attitude
01:54:05 did you have to have?
01:54:07 People have expectations, obviously,
01:54:09 because you're drafted so high.
01:54:10 Do you come in like, yeah, I'm the fucking shit?
01:54:13 Do you actively have to check your own ego sometimes?
01:54:18 I would imagine there's probably guys that have done that,
01:54:20 whether coming off the Heismans or just highly touted dudes
01:54:23 throughout their entire career.
01:54:24 For me, coming into the NFL was the first time
01:54:27 there was really ever any expectations on me.
01:54:29 Like I was the second quarterback at UCF
01:54:32 in our recruiting class.
01:54:34 And so getting drafted third overall
01:54:36 and going into Jacksonville, that
01:54:38 was kind of the first time that there was ever anything
01:54:41 expected of me right away.
01:54:43 So that was different.
01:54:44 But I mean, it's all just new.
01:54:46 It's a totally different game, especially I
01:54:48 feel like the college and the NFL games
01:54:50 are so different in all aspects of it.
01:54:53 And I mean, at the same time, you're
01:54:55 walking in at 20, 21, 22 years old.
01:54:58 And there's guys in there that are married with kids.
01:55:00 And it's like I have no experience of how
01:55:02 to handle these kind of people.
01:55:04 Outside of talking to my parents and my parents' friends,
01:55:07 I don't know how to talk to parents.
01:55:10 Some of that stuff's new.
01:55:12 But I'm sure all those dudes will be fine.
01:55:14 I've gotten so good and so mature.
01:55:16 I deal with media and NIO shit and all that.
01:55:18 So I'm sure they'll all do great.
01:55:20 Have they retired your jersey at UCF yet?
01:55:24 No.
01:55:25 What the fuck?
01:55:27 I got inducted into the Hall of Fame two years ago.
01:55:30 OK.
01:55:32 But I don't think-- there's only a couple, like Dante,
01:55:34 Culpepper's.
01:55:37 I guess they're like--
01:55:38 I mean, there's 120 kids on the team.
01:55:40 So they can't start taking numbers away.
01:55:42 But I guess they hang them up.
01:55:43 I think there's a couple numbers that
01:55:45 are hung up around the stadium, which I guess
01:55:48 it may be ring of honor type deal.
01:55:50 We need that.
01:55:51 It will come.
01:55:52 We'll come to that day.
01:55:53 If they ever decide to do it, let's put some pressure on them.
01:55:57 Like, what are we doing here?
01:55:59 Let's get Bortles up in the Raptors.
01:56:01 We could have an Orlando weekend and celebrate.
01:56:03 It'd be great.
01:56:04 Yeah, they need to respect you.
01:56:05 They need to hang your banner high.
01:56:07 Did you know that--
01:56:08 We got a national championship banner.
01:56:10 Yeah, it's true.
01:56:11 Did you know that you had the highest yards per carry--
01:56:14 excuse me, third highest yards per carry of any quarterback
01:56:16 ever in the history of the NFL?
01:56:20 No, I didn't.
01:56:22 Is that an actual stat?
01:56:23 Yeah, I think you finished with like 6.3.
01:56:26 Mike Vick only had seven yards per attempt.
01:56:30 Oh my, dude, could you imagine?
01:56:32 Me and Mike Vick's similar athletic ability.
01:56:34 Yeah.
01:56:35 No, they need to put some respect on your name.
01:56:37 That's the great Blake Bortles.
01:56:38 This is the Blake Bortles Hall of Fame
01:56:39 pitch that we're going to start--
01:56:40 Yeah, we're going to make a whole pamphlet of it.
01:56:43 Yeah.
01:56:44 Third all time yards per carry.
01:56:46 It's a good start.
01:56:46 Yep.
01:56:47 Yep.
01:56:47 The boat.
01:56:48 That also is a good--
01:56:49 I mean, you can't say anyone else is the boat.
01:56:51 Should have beaten the New England Patriots in Gillette
01:56:53 in the postseason and gone to the Super Bowl.
01:56:55 That got ripped from your hands.
01:56:56 Yep.
01:56:57 Absolutely.
01:56:58 That's going in there too.
01:56:59 Outdueled Ben Roethlisberger.
01:57:00 Got everyone COVID and got Kendall Hinton a start.
01:57:04 That's right.
01:57:04 Looking out for guys.
01:57:05 Actually, one bullet point just should be did not
01:57:07 give the entire Broncos COVID.
01:57:09 Contrary to popular belief.
01:57:12 The--
01:57:13 Again, all things said.
01:57:15 Walter Payton, Man of the Year finalist.
01:57:17 Yep.
01:57:17 That's right.
01:57:18 Yep.
01:57:19 The year-- that was the year Jared played in the Super Bowl.
01:57:21 New England beat him.
01:57:22 What was the score?
01:57:23 10-7, 13-7, that game in Atlanta.
01:57:24 Yeah, that was the year Chris Long gave the entire world
01:57:27 water.
01:57:27 Yep.
01:57:28 And so he won Man of the Year.
01:57:29 Supplied the entire continent of Africa with clean water.
01:57:33 We all thought we had a chance of winning that year for--
01:57:36 fundraising for a local community.
01:57:37 No chance.
01:57:38 No chance.
01:57:39 I forgot to tell you, and I want to hear
01:57:42 your perspective of it.
01:57:43 I ran into your agent when we were in Indy for the Combine.
01:57:47 And I was--
01:57:48 I'd met him a couple times before, so I said hello to him.
01:57:51 And I was laughing because I was like,
01:57:52 what was it like for you guys when Blake just accidentally
01:57:55 retired on our show?
01:57:57 And they were like, yeah, that kind of sucked for us.
01:58:01 We just got a bunch of calls right away.
01:58:03 And he said, he was like, Blake told us specifically,
01:58:06 he's like, any calls you get, I'm
01:58:08 not talking to anyone else.
01:58:09 I'm talking to the Pardon My Take guys.
01:58:11 So I want to say thank you.
01:58:12 And also, was that your perspective of it,
01:58:15 that your agents were like, what the fuck, dude?
01:58:17 Why'd you do that?
01:58:18 They-- I mean, we had had--
01:58:21 they called-- when I went to New Orleans,
01:58:24 the last stop I was on was kind of like the last rodeo.
01:58:27 And it was kind of like--
01:58:28 I was staying in shape.
01:58:30 I was still throwing.
01:58:31 So I kind of felt obligated to take the call whenever it came.
01:58:35 But it came the day before Christmas in--
01:58:38 what year was that, '21, '22?
01:58:40 Yeah.
01:58:42 Somewhere in there.
01:58:43 Right around-- it was two days before Christmas.
01:58:44 And we got little kids at home.
01:58:46 We're starting to build stuff for the set
01:58:48 out for Christmas presents.
01:58:50 And my agent calls and he's like, hey,
01:58:51 I just got a call from New Orleans.
01:58:53 And I was like, yeah, yeah, let's just--
01:58:57 we'll maybe just see what happens next year,
01:58:59 see if we hear from anybody.
01:59:00 And it was like, no, they really want you to come.
01:59:03 They'll guarantee your contract or this or that.
01:59:05 And it was like, all right, we kind of owe it
01:59:07 to ourselves to go do this.
01:59:08 So we did it.
01:59:09 And then obviously the year ends.
01:59:11 And like a month later, I think they signed Andy Dalton
01:59:15 and guaranteed his money.
01:59:16 So it was just like, all right, that's not a road
01:59:18 we're going to go down next year.
01:59:19 So let's get out of that.
01:59:20 And I was just like, I'm done.
01:59:21 I'm done.
01:59:22 And I remember him telling me, do I have to announce--
01:59:25 because you used to have to put in papers to retire.
01:59:28 And it was like a whole thing where they got rid of that.
01:59:30 And it was just, if you're not on a roster for, I think,
01:59:32 12 months, you're just considered retired,
01:59:35 was what I was told.
01:59:37 So I was like, yeah, let's just go that route, dude.
01:59:39 Hopefully nobody says anything for a year.
01:59:41 And then all of a sudden, I'll just be officially retired.
01:59:43 And then a PFT asked me a question
01:59:45 when I was talking to you guys.
01:59:46 And I just accidentally said it.
01:59:48 I was like, yeah, now we're officially retired.
01:59:51 It's a common law of retirement.
01:59:53 If you're not on a roster, then legally--
01:59:54 Yeah.
01:59:55 Yeah, you're just done.
01:59:56 Yeah, but so what did your agents say after you came
02:00:00 on PMT that time?
02:00:01 Were they like, wait, dude, that wasn't the plan?
02:00:04 Yeah, it was just like, well, just kind of out the window
02:00:07 went the quietly retiring now.
02:00:09 So it's a thing.
02:00:11 And then, of course, after--
02:00:13 it was either right around that time or maybe just after.
02:00:17 There was calls from two or three teams.
02:00:18 Like, hey, I'd like to have you come in.
02:00:20 And it was just like, nope, done.
02:00:21 Yeah, go listen to "Pardon My Take."
02:00:23 Yeah, and the fact that you confirmed--
02:00:25 I kind of knew you did that.
02:00:26 But the fact that you told your agents specifically,
02:00:29 like, anyone who hits me up, just tell them
02:00:31 I'm not going to talk to them because I'm doing it all
02:00:33 on "Pardon My Take."
02:00:34 Thank you, because that--
02:00:36 That was--
02:00:36 --fucking rocked me.
02:00:37 Well, I felt like that was where it all started.
02:00:39 Yeah.
02:00:40 Like, the first real interview I ever did, or it felt like,
02:00:43 was with you guys at the Super Bowl in, what, 2014?
02:00:46 Well, hold on.
02:00:47 Can we tell a story about that?
02:00:48 Well, hold on.
02:00:48 Yeah, I want the story about that.
02:00:49 But I have to just say that there was another interview
02:00:52 that you did before that.
02:00:53 And I also talked to your agents about that.
02:00:56 The famous Cribs episode with Sophie Julia.
02:00:59 They--
02:01:00 It's my mom's favorite.
02:01:01 They also told me a story that you did that episode,
02:01:05 and you didn't really tell your agents.
02:01:07 And they, like, had to put out a million fires after it
02:01:10 because you just had a bunch of, like, sponsorships,
02:01:12 and everything in your house wasn't the sponsorship.
02:01:16 Open your fridge, and they were like, what the fuck, Blake?
02:01:19 We just took money from these other people.
02:01:22 There's no body armor in there.
02:01:24 There's no monster.
02:01:26 Yeah, that-- I wasn't-- the product placement wasn't great.
02:01:29 It took me a couple years to understand
02:01:33 the ramifications and the significance
02:01:35 of being an NFL quarterback.
02:01:37 I was-- I lived like I was still playing in college
02:01:39 for the first year or two.
02:01:41 Yeah.
02:01:42 I was in the NFL.
02:01:43 That rocked.
02:01:43 There was the interview that you did with us the first time.
02:01:46 I'll tell this story.
02:01:46 We might actually have to cut this part out, too.
02:01:48 But I remember you hadn't done a lot of media.
02:01:51 You're like, yeah, I trust these guys.
02:01:53 I'll talk to them for a little bit.
02:01:54 And we asked you about the London games
02:01:56 that the Jaguars would always play in.
02:01:58 And you're like, yeah, it's crazy over there.
02:02:00 Like, when you ask for a [BLEEP]
02:02:03 they mean that they're asking for a cigarette.
02:02:05 And then after we got off the call,
02:02:06 me and Big Cat talked, and we were like,
02:02:08 I don't think he said anything bad,
02:02:10 but I think that it would not be a good look for Blake
02:02:13 to have him saying that word out there.
02:02:15 So we quietly took that part out of the interview
02:02:17 to have your back on it, just to spare you
02:02:20 like a small headache.
02:02:21 But I don't think anybody-- I don't think we've ever
02:02:23 told that story.
02:02:24 No, we haven't.
02:02:24 We took that part out.
02:02:26 But yeah, it's cool.
02:02:26 I appreciate you guys protecting me on that.
02:02:28 And the dumb stuff that I used to say a lot
02:02:31 that I've tried to say a little less.
02:02:33 Yeah.
02:02:33 Yeah.
02:02:34 I mean, it wasn't-- it is what they-- that is the word
02:02:36 they use over there.
02:02:37 Yeah.
02:02:38 It's crazy.
02:02:38 I just remember the first time going over there and hearing--
02:02:42 like, I was never-- the first--
02:02:43 I mean, I was 22 years old and leaving the country
02:02:47 for the first time in my life, going to play football in London,
02:02:50 playing at Wembley Stadium.
02:02:51 And like, unbelievable experience.
02:02:54 Super cool.
02:02:54 But like, the first year I went, we flew out.
02:02:57 We played Sensi and then flew out after the game.
02:02:59 So we were there the entire week.
02:03:00 So we had a ton of time to go out and do stuff
02:03:02 and get dinners and hang out.
02:03:04 And like, hearing somebody say that, like, can I buy my [BLEEP]
02:03:08 I was just like--
02:03:10 Yeah, what are you saying?
02:03:11 No, straight.
02:03:12 [LAUGHTER]
02:03:15 It's just like that's slang for cigarettes.
02:03:19 Yeah.
02:03:19 Just like, OK.
02:03:20 It's crazy.
02:03:21 Yeah.
02:03:22 Blake, I don't know if you're aware of this,
02:03:23 but Hank and I have been going through a similar thing
02:03:26 recently where we've noticed that we're
02:03:28 starting to lose our hair.
02:03:29 And we were wondering if you had any--
02:03:31 Welcome to the club.
02:03:32 --any advice for us.
02:03:35 Shave it and grow a beard.
02:03:37 Oh, no.
02:03:38 Just shave it, dude.
02:03:38 I can't-- I can't do one of those.
02:03:40 But yours-- I mean, your hair's been--
02:03:42 Hank, you look good.
02:03:43 Where's it going, in the front or the back?
02:03:45 There's a little spot in the back, I see.
02:03:47 Yeah.
02:03:48 He's losing it in the back.
02:03:50 It's tiny.
02:03:50 It's not even really noticeable right now
02:03:53 to anybody except for Hank.
02:03:54 But it's definitely--
02:03:55 But they got those--
02:03:56 just go to Turkey.
02:03:58 That's what we were saying.
02:03:59 I said I would go with them, and I'd get a Brazilian butt lift
02:04:02 because I'm not losing my hair.
02:04:04 Blake, would you come with us if we went to Turkey?
02:04:07 Yeah, I'll go.
02:04:08 I mean, I feel like Brian Ehrlacher paved the way.
02:04:11 Like, I used to always--
02:04:12 like, my thing was, which I held onto it for a while,
02:04:15 like I was obviously losing hair.
02:04:17 And I finally got--
02:04:19 I don't know if I ever told you guys.
02:04:20 Like, I shaved my head for the first time
02:04:21 because I was playing.
02:04:22 I was in LA playing for the Rams.
02:04:24 And I found this barber.
02:04:25 And I went like four or five times.
02:04:26 And I was like, hey, you know, just give me
02:04:28 the white boy fade on the sides and take it a little off
02:04:30 the top.
02:04:31 And after like the fourth or fifth time, he just--
02:04:33 and I didn't really know the guy all that well.
02:04:34 I said in the 45 minutes I spent with him for the haircut,
02:04:37 he goes, dude, you need to just shave your fucking head.
02:04:41 Yeah, I think you're right, dude.
02:04:42 It's time to shave it.
02:04:43 He was just kind of bullying me into shaving my head.
02:04:45 You used to be elite.
02:04:47 We've talked about this.
02:04:48 You used to be elite at the helmet off, hat on.
02:04:51 Like, not even-- you were so fast with it.
02:04:54 It was probably-- they should probably put that in the combine.
02:04:56 That'll go in the pamphlet.
02:04:58 Yeah, no one ever took their helmet off
02:05:00 and put their hat on faster than Blake Portals.
02:05:03 There was a quick, like--
02:05:04 because what-- like, if you're balding as a norm,
02:05:06 or especially like being--
02:05:08 like, I'm 6'5".
02:05:09 So walking around, like, nobody really sees it.
02:05:13 But you go to play football in front of a stadium of,
02:05:15 you know, however many people, everybody's above you.
02:05:18 So me and my guy George in the Jacksonville equipment room
02:05:22 had just an unbelievable assembly line
02:05:24 of helmet to hat switch off.
02:05:26 [LAUGHTER]
02:05:28 It's perfect practice.
02:05:29 All right, Blake, this is very random
02:05:32 that this happened when we had you on.
02:05:33 But Hank got a DM over the weekend
02:05:37 that he's going to have to read to you.
02:05:38 And we need you to address some allegations that you actually
02:05:42 threw out there.
02:05:43 I don't know if you know what this is about.
02:05:45 It has something to do with you being on vacation
02:05:46 and maybe someone coming up to you and talking to you.
02:05:49 Yeah, well, they were talking about, you know,
02:05:50 should we ask Blake on?
02:05:51 And I saw a DM this week.
02:05:53 And I was like, I think he's on vacation,
02:05:54 because some random guy DMed me and said,
02:05:57 was on vacation this weekend.
02:05:58 And I happened to be at the same resort as Bortles
02:06:00 after mustering up the balls to say something
02:06:02 to him with my brother-in-law.
02:06:03 I asked him how he likes his chances for this year's Blake
02:06:05 of the Year.
02:06:06 He said, very slim.
02:06:08 And his claim was because Blake Griffin cheats.
02:06:10 [LAUGHTER]
02:06:11 So--
02:06:12 Blake Griffin, when the-- when it used to be--
02:06:16 Blake Griffin has the greatest Wi-Fi of all time.
02:06:18 [LAUGHTER]
02:06:19 Because when you guys used to call,
02:06:21 and it was the first to answer, I swear to God,
02:06:23 I could not have answered any quicker.
02:06:24 And Blake Griffin was beating me by half a second.
02:06:26 Yeah.
02:06:27 So his Xfinity or AT&T or whatever he's got is just elite.
02:06:31 Yeah, so wait, do you remember this guy coming up to you
02:06:33 and asking you this?
02:06:35 Yeah, it was yesterday.
02:06:36 [LAUGHTER]
02:06:37 That's so funny that someone just--
02:06:40 I mean, what is that-- like, are you like, what the fuck, dude?
02:06:43 Like, this is-- or is it cool that someone's, like, coming up
02:06:45 to you and being like, hey, I've been
02:06:47 meaning to ask you, Blake of the year, how you feeling?
02:06:50 So I mean, it's honestly probably
02:06:52 one of the more most frequently things I get at.
02:06:56 Like, I would say people ask me more about Blake of the year
02:06:59 or PMT-related stuff than anything football-related.
02:07:04 But we were sitting at the pool Friday, maybe,
02:07:08 and my fiancee was like, hey, I think
02:07:11 that guy's taking pictures or videos of you,
02:07:13 stuff over there.
02:07:14 And she was like, you're going to send that to Barstool?
02:07:17 And I was like, yeah, but I don't
02:07:19 think they'll post me over here lounging with my belly
02:07:22 out in the pool.
02:07:22 I don't think that's kind of up their alley of stuff to do.
02:07:24 So the fact that he actually reached out to Hank,
02:07:27 though, is pretty great.
02:07:28 Yeah.
02:07:28 Yeah.
02:07:29 What about-- do you have any advice for Blake Griffin
02:07:32 in retirement?
02:07:34 Blake to Blake?
02:07:34 Which I saw-- he just retired, right, in April?
02:07:38 Yeah.
02:07:38 Yeah.
02:07:39 Awesome, dude.
02:07:40 Congrats.
02:07:40 What a career.
02:07:42 No, I'm sure he's got it figured out, man.
02:07:44 He's in the golf.
02:07:46 He's talented.
02:07:47 He can do all kinds of stuff.
02:07:48 I got no advice for Blake.
02:07:50 I'd actually like to hear some advice from him.
02:07:52 Yeah.
02:07:52 Yeah.
02:07:53 I mean, Blake of the Year is going to be big this year.
02:07:55 Yeah.
02:07:56 I mean, if we get Brooks to--
02:07:57 I mean, he's already-- he leads the world and live victories.
02:08:00 So he might as well retire.
02:08:02 We get all three of us retired.
02:08:03 It'd be great.
02:08:03 Get the Blake retirement tour.
02:08:05 Yeah.
02:08:06 Yeah, we'd go have a full-on golf tournament
02:08:08 for the Blake of the Year.
02:08:09 We're talking about what to do for Blake of the Year.
02:08:12 One idea that was thrown out there
02:08:14 was to get everybody together.
02:08:15 Yeah.
02:08:16 And to do maybe some sort of a--
02:08:18 I don't know if it's a golf tournament,
02:08:20 but it would obviously--
02:08:21 Brooks would have to take a severe handicap in that.
02:08:25 Or he could just play left-handed.
02:08:27 Is he still good left-handed?
02:08:28 I think he's probably really good left-handed.
02:08:30 Yeah.
02:08:31 Are you good?
02:08:32 Not as good as I should be being retired, but--
02:08:35 What's your handicap?
02:08:37 I think I'm a 7-something right now.
02:08:39 Oh, that's good.
02:08:40 That's good, yeah.
02:08:41 That's really good.
02:08:42 Came in second place in a member guest last week,
02:08:44 so I got that going for me.
02:08:46 And you're competing in the Barstool Classic, right?
02:08:48 When it's in Florida.
02:08:50 Yeah, hopefully, if Riggs ever lets me in.
02:08:54 Oh.
02:08:55 Did that not get taken care of?
02:08:57 No, I don't know.
02:08:58 All right, I'm on it.
02:08:59 Because I remember when you hit me up,
02:09:01 it was very Blake Bortles of you.
02:09:02 You're like, hey, is there any way that I could get in?
02:09:05 I was like, dude, are you really asking me?
02:09:06 Like, we'll do anything to get you in this.
02:09:08 Like, you're Barstool royalty.
02:09:11 Dude, I think I set an alarm.
02:09:14 Because we went live at like 11 or 12.
02:09:16 A friend of mine, who I play in a bunch of tournaments
02:09:18 and stuff with, was like, hey, they got the Barstool
02:09:20 Classic going on here.
02:09:21 Josh Scobie, you remember that name?
02:09:23 Kicker for the Jags?
02:09:25 He facilitated the whole thing.
02:09:27 He belongs to the club where the tournament's at.
02:09:29 And I was like, all right, yeah, let's get in.
02:09:31 So I fully signed us up like two minutes after it started.
02:09:34 And it was just like, you're on the wait list.
02:09:35 We'll let you know if you get in.
02:09:36 And that was when I texted you.
02:09:38 Wait, so what club is there?
02:09:41 What city is it in?
02:09:43 It's in Jacksonville.
02:09:44 It's like Deerwood, like closer to downtown Jacksonville.
02:09:47 All right, I'm sending a text right now
02:09:49 to make sure this gets done, to the top of the line.
02:09:52 I mean, you have to be in it.
02:09:54 You have to.
02:09:54 I mean, you have to be in it.
02:09:56 You can't have a Barstool Classic.
02:09:57 I tried to go about it the right way.
02:09:59 No, but you shouldn't have even done that.
02:10:01 You're too humble.
02:10:02 But you can't have a Barstool Classic in Jacksonville
02:10:04 without Blake Bortles.
02:10:05 That's not a real classic.
02:10:07 Yeah, I mean, maybe they just, you know,
02:10:09 extra team in the field.
02:10:10 I don't want to take somebody's spot
02:10:12 and rightfully registered.
02:10:13 But I think if we, after this interview,
02:10:15 someone will probably volunteer to give up their spot.
02:10:18 But we don't need to do that.
02:10:18 You're just in.
02:10:19 We'll figure out a way.
02:10:20 You're in no matter what.
02:10:21 No matter what.
02:10:22 Can't wait.
02:10:23 Yeah, and then, yeah, stay tuned for Blake of the year
02:10:24 because we want to figure out a way to get everybody in person
02:10:27 for it.
02:10:27 Do it big.
02:10:28 Anything but lottery balls.
02:10:29 Yeah, yeah, well, do you want to pick a number?
02:10:33 Yeah, 19.
02:10:36 All right, 19.
02:10:37 This is Blake only.
02:10:39 Down max.
02:10:41 I can't believe you guys actually brought this thing to Chicago.
02:10:45 67.
02:10:48 67.
02:10:49 Close.
02:10:50 All right, Blake, I have one last question.
02:10:54 Wait, I just got a text back.
02:10:55 Absolutely.
02:10:56 Can you send me his information?
02:10:57 I get his information.
02:10:58 All right, we're in.
02:10:59 Yes, that's a no brainer.
02:11:02 All right, rollback question.
02:11:04 RHOBACK.com promo code take 20% off your first purchase.
02:11:08 Q's, polos, hoodies, joggers, shorts, rollback.com.
02:11:11 All right, so you mentioned at the beginning, you're still building your house.
02:11:14 Are you still doing some construction personally?
02:11:18 Are you doing some cosplay?
02:11:19 Are you getting over there and just getting with the guys every now and then?
02:11:21 Yeah, I'm a locker room guy at the house.
02:11:25 I don't know anything.
02:11:26 I ask multiple questions every time I'm over there.
02:11:28 I retain half the information and I bring beer on Fridays.
02:11:32 Oh, that's awesome.
02:11:33 Yeah.
02:11:34 What a dude.
02:11:34 Yeah, I see that.
02:11:35 Good friends with the guys that fret, which they're kind of all gone now.
02:11:40 Although the guys that framed the entire house got close with the framers,
02:11:44 which felt like my people.
02:11:46 And then so now we've moved on to drywall.
02:11:48 There's a bit of a language barrier going on now, but we're overcoming through Budweiser.
02:11:52 And then I think we're close to meeting the roofers.
02:11:57 I met the roofers.
02:11:58 Great dudes.
02:11:59 And then I'm looking forward to hanging with the painters.
02:12:02 Yeah, this might be why it's taking so long is they just want to keep hanging out with you.
02:12:06 Which, yeah, it's really backfiring because in my mind, I was like, dude,
02:12:10 hang out with them, buy beer, they'll love you, they'll do it the right way.
02:12:14 But I think, yeah, you're exactly right.
02:12:16 I think they're just kind of procrastinating now for the hangout.
02:12:19 Yeah, like why would I ever finish a job if every Friday I got free beer and got to hang
02:12:24 out with Blake Portals?
02:12:25 Yeah, either they think you're too nice of a boss or they just love hanging out with you.
02:12:28 Yeah.
02:12:29 Yeah, one of the other.
02:12:30 I'm either getting taken advantage of, which I'm sure is probably the more likely option.
02:12:33 Or, you know, we did play there was a guy, awesome dude, his name's 95 because he was born in 1995.
02:12:40 Electrician, they call him 95.
02:12:44 But guys were great.
02:12:45 They crushed everything they did, wiring and everything throughout the house.
02:12:49 They brought a football one day and we just had a catch and it just like stopped work.
02:12:53 Everybody stopped what they were doing from the house, our house, the houses around.
02:12:59 And next day it felt like you were at just gym class in sixth grade.
02:13:02 We're just playing a 15 wave catch.
02:13:04 I love that.
02:13:05 That's amazing.
02:13:06 Yeah, I would never finish that house ever, ever.
02:13:08 No, it's probably good for you, too.
02:13:11 You're learning Spanish.
02:13:12 Yeah, it's a blast.
02:13:14 We went over there today.
02:13:16 The guys haven't necessarily met anybody by name in the drywall department, but they had
02:13:23 the Spanish music bump in and it was just, you know, it really set us up for a good night
02:13:27 because you walked in and it was like, all right, we're going to Mexican tonight.
02:13:30 Margaritas.
02:13:31 Love it.
02:13:32 I love it.
02:13:32 All right.
02:13:33 Well, Blake, we'll talk in about a month and a half for Blake the year.
02:13:37 We got to figure it out and then I'll make sure that you're set up with the Barstool
02:13:42 Classic.
02:13:42 I'm excited to see you win that thing.
02:13:44 Look forward to it.
02:13:46 I can't.
02:13:46 Don't you like top three teams go in there like a championship that they do out in Arizona?
02:13:52 Yeah, and there's going to be the start of the championship DVD.
02:13:55 This like little segment on the podcast being like, this is when it all came out and you're
02:13:59 going to win the whole thing.
02:14:00 That's right.
02:14:01 I can't wait.
02:14:02 It'll be a blast.
02:14:03 Thanks for helping me out.
02:14:04 Yeah.
02:14:04 All right.
02:14:05 Well, Blake, thanks again, man.
02:14:06 Appreciate it.
02:14:07 Always great talking to you.
02:14:08 Great talking to you guys.
02:14:09 Talk soon.
02:14:09 Blake Bortles is brought to you by Chevy.
02:14:14 As everyone knows, this is a Chevy truck podcast.
02:14:17 The greatest trucks ever built and our good friends at Chevy have been a big part of the
02:14:21 part of my take story.
02:14:23 Silverado helped us dig the biggest hole ever dug in Ohio during grit week.
02:14:27 Silverado partnered with us to give college fullbacks all the rightful recognition that
02:14:31 they deserve with a low man award.
02:14:33 And then they also powered our nonstop cross country trip to the Super Bowl in LA behind
02:14:37 the wheel of a Chevy Silverado.
02:14:39 Silverado has been a part of part of my take throughout the years.
02:14:42 Chevy Silverado, longtime awesome partner of the show.
02:14:45 It's a truck with commanding and unstoppable grit, legendary capability, dependability
02:14:49 too.
02:14:50 It's very, very comfortable.
02:14:51 It's an awesome truck.
02:14:52 It looks great.
02:14:53 It's the perfect truck for tailgating.
02:14:54 If you're thinking about tailgating, get ready for next football season.
02:14:58 Get yourself a Chevy Silverado.
02:15:01 Find out for yourself like so many other AWLs.
02:15:03 Head to chevy.com.
02:15:04 Check out all the Chevy truck grit.
02:15:06 Build your own Silverado.
02:15:07 For do it yourself projects to road trips, off season adventures to tailgates, whatever
02:15:12 your thing is, it all starts with a Chevy truck.
02:15:15 Okay.
02:15:17 Let's finish up the show.
02:15:18 You have an embrace debate for us, PFD?
02:15:20 Yes, I have an embrace debate.
02:15:22 It's a good discussion that I think we should be having.
02:15:24 It's from Ed Latimore, former professional boxer.
02:15:28 He had this take on Twitter/X, "Something a lot of men don't like to admit.
02:15:35 All of your hobbies and ambitions are to attract women.
02:15:37 Nature doesn't care how much personal fulfillment you get from them.
02:15:41 Those things are cool, but they're coincidental positive externality to the prime objective,
02:15:47 to keep the species going.
02:15:48 Every hobby that you have is designed to attract women."
02:15:53 Fact or fiction?
02:15:54 I mean, my only hobby is gambling.
02:15:56 Do you think women are attracted by flight simulators?
02:15:59 No.
02:16:00 Serious question.
02:16:00 No.
02:16:02 No?
02:16:03 More than gambling.
02:16:05 That's a good embrace debate, which gets you by the tail.
02:16:08 I think flight simulator would definitely get you.
02:16:11 I mean, gambling has to be the least attractive thing to a woman.
02:16:14 If you're good at it.
02:16:14 Yeah, if you're good.
02:16:16 No.
02:16:16 But that's a good point, Hank.
02:16:18 Like, really good gamblers, they're swimming in it.
02:16:21 Yeah, that's my only hobby, so I don't know what I would be...
02:16:24 I think women are attracted to the fact that I shot a 89 today.
02:16:28 Some?
02:16:29 There are some.
02:16:31 How'd you shoot on the back nine?
02:16:32 Good one.
02:16:34 Do we have the least amount of hobbies as a podcast?
02:16:38 Let's see.
02:16:38 I have zero.
02:16:39 You have no hobbies?
02:16:40 Vacations.
02:16:41 Nope.
02:16:42 That's a good hobby.
02:16:42 I would be attracted to a woman.
02:16:44 Max, yelling at sports on TV isn't a hobby?
02:16:47 That's a job.
02:16:47 Yeah.
02:16:48 That's true.
02:16:49 Memes, what's your hobby?
02:16:50 Oh, Call of Duty.
02:16:51 Okay.
02:16:52 Video games.
02:16:53 No, don't do that.
02:16:54 Memes, your hobby is helicopter parenting a turtle?
02:16:57 What's that?
02:16:59 What's Shane's hobby?
02:17:02 What didn't you understand?
02:17:03 Sometimes memes just like, he just doesn't speak.
02:17:05 He just looks.
02:17:06 I think he just does.
02:17:06 I also think memes doesn't understand like, common phrases.
02:17:09 Like, helicopter parenting, you've never heard that?
02:17:13 No.
02:17:13 Like, someone who's just a parent who's like, obsessive about their child to a point where
02:17:18 it's unhealthy?
02:17:19 Oh.
02:17:20 That makes sense.
02:17:22 They're always like, flying over them, being like, "Oh, what are they doing?
02:17:26 What's Mr. Pear doing?
02:17:27 Did he eat his poop again?"
02:17:28 Yeah, probably.
02:17:30 He's a fucking dumbass turtle who can't pick games.
02:17:34 Yeah.
02:17:35 I recently got into zoology.
02:17:36 Okay.
02:17:38 Shane, what's your hobby?
02:17:39 Well, we know what your hobby is, but what's your hobby you can say?
02:17:45 You know.
02:17:46 I don't even know, man.
02:17:48 Work.
02:17:50 Do you want us to say your hobby then?
02:17:51 Sure.
02:17:52 Combos.
02:17:53 Plus, Shane plays guitar.
02:17:54 Oh, I do play guitar.
02:17:56 Dude, you are combos, man.
02:17:57 Yes.
02:18:00 Yeah, PFT, your hobby is guitar.
02:18:02 That is meant to attract women.
02:18:06 I play guitar too.
02:18:07 It's done a very poor job of that.
02:18:09 I think guitar and flight simulator, like, the flight simulator cancels out the guitar.
02:18:13 But your number one hobby is guitar.
02:18:15 You're really good at guitar.
02:18:16 I'm, no, don't say that.
02:18:18 You are.
02:18:18 People think that I'm really good at guitar.
02:18:19 But you are really good at guitar.
02:18:21 I think I'm a slightly above average guitar player.
02:18:24 And then I am a...
02:18:26 Chicks love guys who play guitar.
02:18:27 But I'm a below average flight simulator player.
02:18:30 So what would be...
02:18:31 Oh, Pug has entered.
02:18:33 Pug, what is your hobby?
02:18:34 This should be good.
02:18:36 Pug.
02:18:37 Going for a walk.
02:18:40 Good boy.
02:18:41 Pug saw the Northern Lights.
02:18:46 So this guy's only, I think the only hobbies that he's talking about is guys who work out a lot.
02:18:51 And then guys who are like into fashion.
02:18:54 Maybe.
02:18:55 Well, he's a boxer.
02:18:56 So maybe his hobby was just beating people up.
02:18:59 Yeah.
02:18:59 And that is like designed to get chicks because you can protect them.
02:19:02 Let me Google.
02:19:03 What hobbies...
02:19:04 Fishing, girls love guys that catch big fish.
02:19:06 ... are most attractive to women.
02:19:08 Hobbies, cooking.
02:19:11 Cooking.
02:19:12 Exercise.
02:19:13 So...
02:19:15 Outdoor recreation.
02:19:17 And...
02:19:17 But I've also heard people say like, isn't cooking feminine?
02:19:19 Yeah, but I think that's something like, girl, if you were like a really good cook...
02:19:24 Like this guy would say that cooking...
02:19:26 I don't think cooking is feminine, but a guy like this would say that that's feminine.
02:19:30 Yeah.
02:19:30 Politics.
02:19:31 Pets.
02:19:32 Yeah, I guess pets.
02:19:35 Okay.
02:19:35 Photography.
02:19:36 Hank, you do photography.
02:19:38 Art.
02:19:39 Sport.
02:19:40 I'd assume that's playing the sport, not sitting on our asses watching the sport.
02:19:44 You think that's attractive?
02:19:46 We run some pickup.
02:19:48 Yeah, I mean, we don't have any...
02:19:52 I think maybe I could say we are probably pretty funny guys.
02:19:57 Yeah, but that's not a hobby.
02:19:59 No, it's not.
02:19:59 So yeah, we have nothing.
02:20:01 We have literally nothing in this podcast in terms of hobbies.
02:20:06 So this guy, is this guy wrong?
02:20:07 I think the vast majority of guys do hobbies because they just...
02:20:13 They want to do something besides work.
02:20:15 I think it's only...
02:20:16 I think he's just talking about people who exercise.
02:20:18 That's their hobby.
02:20:20 And it's exercising and owning a boat.
02:20:24 Having money.
02:20:26 Yeah, those are the attractive things to women.
02:20:28 Gambling, golfing, flight simulators, helicopter parenting turtles, combos.
02:20:36 Call of duty.
02:20:37 Going for walks.
02:20:38 Max clogging toilets.
02:20:41 I don't know.
02:20:42 Complaining to your deli guy.
02:20:43 Yeah.
02:20:44 Max clog.
02:20:44 I feel like you probably clog your shower drain too with all that fucking hair.
02:20:47 Oh, you probably shit in your shower.
02:20:49 Do the waffle stomp.
02:20:51 I mean, this is crazy.
02:20:52 Wait, who told me there was a...
02:20:54 Was it Mel Gibson?
02:20:56 Someone said that Mel Gibson takes a shit in every shower he goes into.
02:20:59 There's no chance.
02:21:00 That can't be true.
02:21:01 Every hotel he goes into, he takes a shit.
02:21:03 You can't.
02:21:04 That's the funniest...
02:21:05 It's a good rumor, yeah.
02:21:06 That is a funny rumor though.
02:21:08 Takes a shit.
02:21:09 No, there's a thing called the waffle stomp.
02:21:12 It might just be an online thing.
02:21:13 I don't know if people actually do, but people say that they do it.
02:21:16 Do you want to know what it is?
02:21:16 Yeah, I know what it is.
02:21:19 I'm going to give people the opportunity to stop the podcast now.
02:21:21 I know exactly what it is.
02:21:23 Where you shit on the drain and then you stomp on your shit that's on the drain to push it down.
02:21:29 Shane is ferociously agreeing with you right now.
02:21:31 About the Mel Gibson?
02:21:32 Oh.
02:21:34 The waffle stomp.
02:21:35 Is it a thing?
02:21:35 It's a big urban dictionary thing.
02:21:36 Yeah, Mel Gibson does it.
02:21:38 Do people actually do that?
02:21:39 I don't know.
02:21:40 That's a hobby.
02:21:40 I think it's like an urban dictionary.
02:21:42 It would be a hobby.
02:21:42 Max, a lot of people have my back about the deli situation.
02:21:48 Saying very, very was too much.
02:21:50 Shut up.
02:21:51 They did.
02:21:53 They were like, "That's offensive to say very, very to a deli man."
02:21:57 People were saying everything.
02:21:58 No, they said that mostly.
02:22:00 You probably saw like three tweets being like, "Oh yeah, big cat, you're right."
02:22:03 That's about right, yeah.
02:22:04 I think it might have been two.
02:22:06 Max, by the way, I got a shipping confirmation.
02:22:09 I completely forgot that we had ordered you a cheese slicer.
02:22:14 So that's going to be a giant box arriving.
02:22:16 Yeah, we got that for you.
02:22:17 Ready.
02:22:18 Yeah.
02:22:18 Okay, that's the show.
02:22:21 Let's do numbers.
02:22:23 We got a little twist here.
02:22:24 Max and I, I don't know how long this tradition will last, but we've started a tradition.
02:22:30 We're going to at least do it one more week where we just decided we were bored on Thursday.
02:22:33 We did 40 free throws and the winner got the loser's number on Sunday night show.
02:22:42 So now we set a line, credit to me for being a great odds maker.
02:22:47 I set the line at four and a half.
02:22:48 I missed the last free throw to only beat Max by four.
02:22:53 So he did beat me.
02:22:55 It was out of 40.
02:22:58 I did beat him.
02:22:58 I beat him by four, but the line was four and a half.
02:23:01 It was a very fair spread.
02:23:03 What was the number made?
02:23:04 Don't worry.
02:23:06 I think we made like 32.
02:23:07 We actually shot so bad that we made pug and Shane leave and then come back and pretend
02:23:12 that we had just started.
02:23:14 We were on our last 10 free throws and we're like, all right, so I've made 28 out of 30
02:23:19 and Max, it was bad, whatever the camera came on.
02:23:22 We shot like shit.
02:23:23 So anyway, Max has my number here.
02:23:25 So I get to select a number.
02:23:27 If it hits, it counts as Max's win.
02:23:31 Okay, I'm all right with this happening one time.
02:23:34 This can't be a normal thing because I'm matched up against Max.
02:23:38 Now I can't have Max beating me.
02:23:39 You can't be given Max extra turns without my permission.
02:23:42 If Max wins with my number, do you know how much I have over him for the rest of our lives?
02:23:49 Like it would be the biggest Mickey Mouse.
02:23:52 Like you can't win with my number.
02:23:54 When think about when he's put himself in such.
02:23:57 No, I'll reverse it because I've already won.
02:23:59 So if I win with his number, also PFT, I promise you I will not lose again.
02:24:03 Okay, I will not lose.
02:24:04 Okay, so we're going to do at least one more time.
02:24:07 I will not.
02:24:07 And the line is always four.
02:24:08 No, it's the line goes dependent.
02:24:11 So since I lost, it's now three and a half.
02:24:13 I'll win that.
02:24:15 And if I win, then it goes back to four and a half.
02:24:17 If he wins with my number, that's the biggest cock move of all time.
02:24:22 Win.
02:24:23 Yeah, you know what I've done PFT here.
02:24:26 I put us in a very good spot.
02:24:29 Max knows it too.
02:24:29 Yeah.
02:24:30 Oh, he knows he's fighting it right now, but he knows it.
02:24:32 You know, I mean, I'm not fighting anything and nothing's happened.
02:24:36 And the reverse is true that if I won with Max's, I would spin it and be like,
02:24:39 you can't win on your own.
02:24:41 I have to take your number to win this.
02:24:43 He's fucked.
02:24:45 He's so fucked.
02:24:46 He doesn't realize what he's done to himself.
02:24:49 All right, so I'm going to select my number just regular and then it will be yours.
02:24:55 Okay.
02:24:57 All right.
02:24:58 Numbers 2846.
02:25:00 Three.
02:25:02 I thought you were going to pick 20 and I didn't want that.
02:25:05 Yeah.
02:25:05 99.
02:25:08 21.
02:25:10 I'll go with one.
02:25:11 Okay.
02:25:12 What was your saying?
02:25:16 Max, you ever gotten this?
02:25:18 46.
02:25:19 No, PFT, have you ever gotten this?
02:25:21 Not yet.
02:25:21 What was your number?
02:25:27 45.
02:25:28 Oh, no, Hank.
02:25:30 So close.
02:25:30 We've already gotten it.
02:25:32 Yeah.
02:25:33 So Max just he couldn't even get it with two numbers.
02:25:35 No, it's not.
02:25:36 What a loser.
02:25:37 Damn, yeah.
02:25:38 Damn, dude, he's got how many numbers you need to be able to get this?
02:25:42 Probably.
02:25:42 You can't even do it with two?
02:25:44 I'd take a hundred.
02:25:45 How many shows have we done on this off?
02:25:46 What a loser.
02:25:47 How many times have we drawn the lot of ball here?
02:25:49 76.
02:25:50 It was a guess.
02:25:52 That was a guess.
02:25:53 You said it very assertively.
02:25:56 Wait, I want to just do one.
02:25:57 This doesn't count for anything other than just for my own fun here.
02:26:01 Max, pick a number that it won't be.
02:26:03 I'm not going to pick one number that it won't be.
02:26:05 I'm not going to pick one number that it won't be.
02:26:09 Nope.
02:26:09 Come on, Max.
02:26:12 This is for the people.
02:26:13 Pick one number.
02:26:14 Pick one number.
02:26:14 No.
02:26:16 One number that it won't be.
02:26:17 No.
02:26:18 Why won't you do this?
02:26:19 You're being a baby.
02:26:20 Three.
02:26:20 Okay.
02:26:21 47.
02:26:22 Wow, Hank, you were on it.
02:26:23 47 and 45.
02:26:27 Love you guys.
02:26:27 All over.
02:26:28 See, I knew it wasn't going to be three.
