Arsenal's 'Invincibles': 20 years on

On May 15, 2004, Arsene Wenger's Gunners completed a legendary unbeaten Premier League campaign.

00:27that was something that I would be surprised.

00:40That last game of the season, I mean, we was 1-0 down half-time.

00:43And you're thinking, come on lads, we can't blow it at home.

00:46And suddenly, you know, they turn it on in the second half

00:49and Dombry got a go after half-time.

00:51And then Patrick, obviously he was such an important player for the team,

00:55he pops up and gets the winning goal.

00:57And then even then it doesn't sink in.

00:59The most important thing is getting your hands on the trophy.

01:02That amazing invincibles, which has never got the credit it deserves.

01:06He did it when the money was nothing like that

01:08and achieved it in a style which has never been recognised enough.

01:12I mean, that is still the greatest achievement.

01:15Only Preston North End in 1800 or whatever it was

01:18managed it when they played 18 games, not 38 games.

01:36You know, you supported this team, but you liked Arsenal.

01:38For the Vieiras, for the Oranjes, all that stuff, for the Bergkamps.

01:41That season there, achievement by Arsenal

01:44was definitely one which inspired me to play a game of football.

01:47Every time I conceded a goal, somebody else just scored once or twice.

01:54I don't know how to describe it.

01:56You never knew when you'd beat it.
