00:00 According to the Hollywood Reporter, star singer Zayn Malik revealed that he regrets not spending more time cherishing his moments with the English-Irish pop boy band One Direction which was founded in London in 2010.
00:15 At the Zaxxang show, Zayn expressed, "The main thing that I always feel bad about, like when I look back over my life, is not enjoying the bond enough.
00:26 I feel like I just took things too seriously and I'm grateful that I'm able to be happier now and actually enjoy things and own my own perspective a bit.
00:37 That's my choice. I get to decide what that is. So if I frame everything in a negative manner, I'm not going to gain no satisfaction from it.
00:47 But if I move with happiness, I can gain so much more and I can have a good time and enjoy my life."
00:55 "I think that's one thing that I'm really grateful for now that I didn't understand the importance of when I was younger. I didn't understand the importance of just trying to be happy.
01:06 I had this teen thing going on with a chip on my shoulder where I'm like, 'It's really cool just to be moody all the time. It's not like you're just a loser.
01:17 You should be a nice person. You should be somebody that people want to be around and enjoy being in your presence.
01:24 And you should bring light to people's day instead of being this negative cloud of energy," Malik added.
01:31 When Zayn Malik left the British boy band One Direction in 2015, it shocked the world and hurt a lot of people.
01:39 The band, which consisted of Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomilson, was founded by Simmel Coel on the UK's X Factor in 2010.
