Papa John’s is offering a no-cost virtual education program for its workers to help them finish high school, get a professional certificate, or earn a bachelor’s and master’s degree.

00:10 program called Doan Degrees after 60 days of employment and if they work at least 10 hours
00:15 per week. So far more than 600 employees have participated in Doan Degrees since it first
00:20 launched in 2019. Papa John's' chief people and diversity officer told Fortune that the program
00:26 has also helped with retention and 78% of people who have taken the course have continued to work
00:31 at Papa John's. Workers have also used the program to either earn promotions or improve their roles
00:36 within the company. Around 35% have received or are pursuing a degree in business and roughly 29%
00:43 of participants have been promoted after starting the program.
