00:10 - Congratulations on this residency.

00:13 It seems like it's gonna be a lot of fun.

00:16 How did this come about?

00:17 - I know some of the guys involved in this hotel

00:20 and it's just feel like this is a really magical space.

00:22 So right then I was starting to talk to those guys

00:25 that might be doing residency at some point.

00:27 We play shows in October

00:28 and then we don't come back again until February.

00:30 - So will the two sets be different

00:33 from October to February

00:35 or will you keep it the same for both sets?

00:38 - The production will be the same

00:40 but sets always getting tweaked anyway.

00:42 Even when it's always getting tweaked.

00:44 There's a lot of spontaneity in what we do.

00:47 - You recently dropped a single with Lainey.

00:49 Wilson, how did that come about?

00:50 - Yeah, this is a song called "Go Home With You"

00:52 that was actually written in 2020

00:55 and I've just been waiting for the right person

00:58 to do it with and I heard Lainey's voice years ago

01:00 and I thought, I think she'd be great on this.

01:02 - Yeah, I mean, what can fans expect

01:04 when they finally do get their ears on that album?

01:07 - A pretty uplifting spirit.

01:08 Probably leans a bit summer, the record,

01:11 'cause that's what I love.

01:13 - I was at Nicole's AFI a couple of weeks ago.

01:16 What was it like from your perspective

01:17 to be able to be there and see the outpouring of love

01:21 for her in that evening?

01:24 - Yeah, and that's what it was, wasn't it?

01:25 I mean, it was just a lot of love in that room for Nick

01:28 and it's because that's where she emanates.
