00:11 This is Alfie.
00:13 Alfie? Are you a greedy Alfie?
00:15 Not a versatile cat?
00:17 No, anything edible.
00:19 I've met Alfie before.

00:59 We wanted to give you a small token to recognise your outstanding commitment to our charity and this cause.
01:06 We are so very grateful.
01:08 We tried to get a mini donkey in the bag, but it won't fit.
01:11 [laughter]
01:13 This is for you.
01:15 Oh, I can spot myself.
01:17 Exactly.
01:19 Thank you very much.
01:21 [applause]
01:25 As the Brook's very proud president, can I thank you all for your support.
01:30 As most of you have seen for yourself, it is the most remarkable charity.
01:35 I got completely hooked when I went to Cairo, when I went to visit the headquarters there,
01:41 and saw this immaculate place, where these vets are doing a fantastic job of making these animals better.
01:49 I first heard about it from my father, who was in Cairo during the war,
01:54 and he knew all about it from the Brooks.
01:57 He used to tell me, when they still had their horses and some of the cavalry took their horses,
02:04 he used to tell me what a wonderful charity it was.
