00:00 Hi, I'm Tom Snowden, here for Rolling Stones in my room, playing some songs for my debut
00:07 album Lonely Tree, which is out February 9 through Pi Eater.
00:11 Play three songs for you.
00:12 This song is called Lonely Tree.
00:15 It's the last track we recorded for the record, and kind of was a bit of a mistake really.
00:19 I was just jamming one of the nights we were in the studio.
00:22 We had about two days left of recording to get through heaps of work, and my collaborator
00:28 then Tom Janssek got downstairs and started playing drums to this piano part, and we were
00:32 kind of like, we've got to turn that into a song.
00:35 So we did, and this is it.

04:39 Okay, this next one is called 'Lose My Body'.
04:42 It was the first single from Lonely Tree, and was actually written in this room on an
04:46 old busted organ that was sitting in the corner, kind of disused.
04:51 That actually became the main part of the song, so the whole recorded track is just
04:55 all of these organs that we had to use from the demo because we couldn't recreate the
04:59 sound.
05:00 But this is a piano kind of version, I guess.

08:34 Okay, I have one more song.
08:36 This is called 'What I Hide'.
08:37 It was originally an instrumental piece I wrote for a dance production I was doing the
08:41 music for a couple of years ago.
08:44 I actually turned it into a song in this room one night with my friend Al Wright, who
08:49 worked on the record a bit.
08:52 Yeah, this is it, solo.
08:57 Thanks for having me.
