00:21 Now a single hunk and a TV host, Hans Montenegro will he hit it.
00:26 [Film audio]
00:37 [Applause]
00:39 Okay, he's a single hunk.
00:41 You're into psychology.
00:43 Single hunk.
00:45 Oh, you're into psychology.
00:50 So that means, all my questions, you know the answer.
00:54 Even questions of your own.
00:56 Basically.
00:58 So, if you have a problem in life, and you have questions you want to ask, you answer them?
01:03 Not really.
01:04 You know the myth that a psychologist can help everybody except himself or herself.
01:10 You feel like you're in that.
01:12 You know, my friend has a relationship question.
01:15 I know everything about him.
01:18 I can give him advice.
01:20 I just don't know how to charge.
01:22 But in the same, if the same situation happens to me, I probably wouldn't follow my own advice.
01:29 And you would still ask somebody else also?
01:31 I probably still ask somebody else.
01:33 Oh, of course.
01:34 Why is that?
01:35 I don't know.
01:36 Maybe because, you know, people look to you as a psychologist.
01:41 Maybe you know something.
01:43 To be honest, I don't know everything.
01:45 I just sound like I do.
01:47 Being single again, are you happy?
01:50 Very.
01:51 What are your joys?
01:52 What do you think is the joy of being single again?
01:55 Well, at least in my situation, the joy I get from being single is knowing that I'm free to do what I want.
02:07 I'm not answerable to anybody.
02:09 And I'm not disappointing or hurting anybody also.
02:13 That's nice.
02:14 So, yeah, more than anything else.
02:16 And I don't have to keep lowering and raising the toilet seat for anybody else.
02:20 But in the circumstances also, if you're being single again, it's good.
02:24 It's not on a bad note.
02:27 Not at all.
02:28 It's on a very good note.
02:30 So, yeah, I guess I feel relieved.
02:34 Okay, so you date again?
02:36 Of course.
02:37 Really?
02:38 Of course.
02:39 Yes.
02:40 You have to love again.
02:42 Of course.
02:43 You cannot.
02:44 Of course, you said it yourself, you don't have to answer to anybody.
02:47 But basically, when you start dating and eventually it turns out to be a relationship, right?
02:53 Yes.
02:54 It's like that.
02:55 Yeah, but by that time, you're in the right frame of mind again to answer to somebody.
03:00 You're ready again emotionally.
03:03 Yes, exactly.
03:04 Dating is the preparation.
03:05 Trying to see what's out there.
03:07 You're trying to see if you're ready to be committed again.
03:12 So much so that when you are, you're ready.
03:17 Marry again?
03:18 That will take a while, but yeah, definitely.
03:21 Me, I wasn't burned that I won't be able to get married again.
03:29 It's not like that.
03:30 I'm not swearing on getting married.
03:33 Basically, I tried it.
03:35 It didn't go the way I wanted it.
03:38 It doesn't mean that marriage in general is gone.
03:42 When you came back, what were your fears?
03:45 Did you have any fears?
03:46 Like nervousness?
03:49 Are we talking about in the dating scene?
03:52 No, I mean nervousness about coming back and starting a career again.
03:56 Yes, of course.
03:58 I had to get into the mind of the person that I'm not the old host that you see in Easy Dancing.
04:07 I'm serious, I was planning to do News and Public Affairs.
04:10 More on talk show, news, features.
04:14 But somehow, especially in our industry, when you're an artist, you're just a host.
04:21 When you're a variety show host, you're just a host.
04:26 I wanted to be in that box.
04:29 I was nervous.
04:31 The first line was in Tagalog.
04:33 When I saw Easy Dancing, it was in English.
04:35 That's why.
04:37 I was like, "Oh no, what's that?"
04:38 Was it hard?
04:39 Yes, it was hard.
04:40 The straight Tagalog.
04:41 I read the tabloid out loud.
04:44 That's the only way.
04:46 You need to practice.
04:48 You need to practice by yourself.
04:50 Sometimes, my family would ask me to come here.
04:55 They told me that the sound of me reading was credible.
04:59 Of course, it's news.
05:01 But somehow, you can't do a variety show.
05:06 Guess what?
05:08 That's what they said in court.
