01:00It follows Pan, the son of a knight, who searches for the fate of his father while gathering

01:17While its plot is fairly cliched by today's standards, the beautiful animation and well-crafted
01:22characters have made it a beloved classic for good reason.

01:35The Seven Deadly Sins
01:37Some inconsistent animation aside, The Seven Deadly Sins is still well worth your time.
01:50The anime follows the eponymous group of disgraced knights to save the kingdom of Britannia
01:56from those who framed them, and worse, they have to get the band back together.
02:12The Seven Deadly Sins has a great cast, all of whom bounce off each other in natural ways.
02:18As well as extensive lore that draws on British history and mythology.
02:23The fight scenes are great, with a ton of flashy powers and a few more grounded clashes,
02:29although Shounen power creep definitely crops up as the series goes on.
02:33Regardless, you'll have a sinfully good time.

02:45Goblin Slayer
02:59The series depicts the exploits of the titular adventurer, and mostly nameless man, who specialises
03:06in hunting the little green menaces with extreme prejudice.
03:10Goblin Slayer delves into some grim subject matter, yet it's balanced by some characters
03:15with surprising depth, despite most of them lacking proper names.
03:19There's also exciting action, and some surprisingly effective comedy.
03:30If you like your fantasy dark, Goblin Slayer offers a great taste of something bloody,
03:35while also featuring some lighter moments.
03:38It's a show with as much charisma as Goblin Slayer himself.

03:54Delicious in Dungeon
03:56This anime already has fans raving and ravenous, while a party of adventurers exploring a magical
04:07dungeon isn't the most original setup, Dungeon Meshi has a delicious twist on an
04:12old classic.
04:13When this group's healer is eaten by a dragon, they set out to save her, and overcome their
04:19lack of supplies by eating the various monsters they encounter along the way.
04:33The mixture of genres, including fantasy adventure, cooking, and comedy, may seem as
04:39strange as the creatures the heroes prepare along their journey, but the results of this
04:44melting pot are positively scrumptious.

04:56Black Clover
04:57As far as high-fantasy shonen shows go, Black Clover is far from being a black sheep.
05:10Asta is a young man born without magic, in a world where everyone can use it.
05:15However, thanks to an anti-magic grimoire that he acquires, his dreams of becoming the
05:20Wizard King may just come true.
05:36After joining the Black Bulls, a guild full of other misfits, Asta's adventures see
05:42he and his fellow mages combat villainous forces that threaten their kingdom and the
05:47world.
05:48Black Clover has a strong central narrative, as well as a sprawling and entertaining supporting
05:54cast.
05:55The fight scenes are pretty epic too.
05:57While its story isn't fully animated, give us a sequel, we're still lucky to have gotten
06:02this incredible series.

06:15That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime
06:18It's easy to dismiss this series, given its absurd title and premise.
06:28But anyone who does is missing out on a surprisingly lovable show.
06:33Rimuru Tempest is the eponymous reborn slime, and while he may be the weakest monster, his
06:39skills and strength are no joke.
06:42Rimuru uses his newfound abilities to create a nation of his fellow monsters, making friends
06:48and alliances through a combination of his absurd power and generally happy-go-lucky
06:53nature.
07:06Tensora is just a fun time all around.
07:10With the interactions between the charming characters being just as engaging as the fight
07:15scenes.
07:16A few tragic moments aside, Slime is a wonderful comfort show that will have you wishing you
07:21could visit Tempest yourself.

07:30Ranking of Kings
07:37Another case of don't judge a book by its cover, Ranking of Kings has a delightful storybook
07:43animation style, but it'll wring your heart out.
07:46The series follows Bōji, a young deaf and mute prince who suddenly inherits his father's
07:52kingdom.
07:53His frail body and difficulty communicating leads to a succession crisis, and Bōji must
07:58bring peace to a kingdom that has difficulty believing in him.
08:16Ranking of Kings has an emotional, well-told story, with characters whose motivations are
08:22all fleshed out in detail.
08:24Additionally, the colourful animation is silky smooth and translates to some incredibly rendered
08:29fight scenes.
08:30If you're not cheering for Bōji every step of the way, check your pulse, because you
08:35may not have a heart.

08:44Mushoku Tensei – Jobless Reincarnation
08:47Isekai series can often feel formulaic, but Mushoku Tensei is one of the best in the genre
08:53right now.
08:54Rudeus Greyrat, this series' truck-turned-victim, is reborn in a new world with a chance at
09:00a fresh start.
09:09Although Rudeus' adventures feature plenty of swordplay and magic, the series stands
09:14out most for its well-paced story and emphasis on character development.
09:19Rudeus and the rest of the cast grow and change before our eyes, and many of their interactions
09:25feel true to life.
09:39Drop all that into a well-detailed fantasy world with action, romance and comedy to spare,
09:45and it's no wonder Mushoku Tensei has become a recent favourite.

09:57Berserk
09:58The original grimdark fantasy anime, Berserk follows the story of Guts, a lone swordsman
10:12in a world that makes ours look like Candyland.
10:15The anime covers his time as part of a mercenary band, and their triumphs and many tragedies.
10:21The music is fantastic, the action is stellar and the animation holds up beautifully.
10:38While it barely scratches the surface of its source material, Berserk still encapsulates
10:42the heartbreak and gritty persistence at its heart.
10:46Trust us, if there's ever an adaptation of the full manga, living up to this one is
10:51going to be a tall order, but if it does, we could easily see it topping our list.

12:15God's blessing on this wonderful world, this dysfunctional party of adventurers are

13:19After making new friends and beginning a new journey, Freerun looks back on her fleeting

13:29A beautiful and unique take on a fantasy adventure, Freerun tackles universal subject
13:35matter like regret, life, and death.
13:38But it isn't all drama and melancholy, as the series also features plenty of comedy
13:43and a surprising amount of action.
13:45Much like the titular character, Freerun may have you re-examining your own life and learning
13:51to appreciate what you have while it lasts.
