00:00 Hello everyone. I'll just give you a quick update. I had a lengthy, constructive meeting, I think, with Thomas Massey and Marjorie Taylor Greene.
00:13 We have discussed some ideas and we're going to meet again tomorrow. I just want to say, and I told them, and I've said this repeatedly, that I understand the frustration. I share it.
00:24 I would really like to advance much more of our conservative policy on a daily basis here, but the reality is we are working with the smallest majority in U.S. history with a one-vote margin.
00:35 It makes it very difficult for us to, using my football metaphor, as I often do, throw touchdown passes on every single play. It's very difficult.
00:44 What we do in a scenario like this, which is almost unprecedented in the history of Congress, is we move the ball forward as far as we can every day on the field to advance our conservative philosophy and policy and principle.
00:58 It's three yards in a cloud of dust, as we used to say. That is to keep advancing the ball, to get the next first down, put points on the board, and get to November.
01:08 I'm absolutely convinced that we are going to keep and grow the House majority. I'm convinced that the Republican Party is going to retake the Senate, and I believe Donald J. Trump will be re-elected president.
01:17 That will be a great day for the country, and we'll be able to turn this aircraft carrier completely.
01:22 Between now and then, we're going to work every single day, as we do, to advance our core principles. We believe that those principles are best for the country.
01:32 We'll continue to do that here every day, and we'll keep you posted on those developments and further conversations. We're going to keep this team together and working for the American people.
01:40 Thank you.
