00:00 The return leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-finals will corner us this midweek.
00:06 And of course the teams involved are Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund.
00:11 They're still all to play for and this is our preview of the games.
00:15 My name is Ayombe Shotsunma and this is The Nutmeg on Garden TV.
00:24 Welcome to last week's Bank. Johnston, the FIALua makes a return to continue the preview of the semi-finals with me.
00:31 Great to have you with us as always.
00:33 We saw the games from the first leg and we saw of course the one everybody was talking about was Real Madrid versus Bayern Munich.
00:43 Vinicius Junior being the star man in that one, pulling Madrid.
00:47 That game is going to happen on Wednesday.
00:50 I want us to put it in perspective. What are you expecting from what you've seen in the first leg?
00:57 It's quite different from what we predicted.
01:01 I predicted a 2-1 win which almost happened but due to experience of Real Madrid it did not happen.
01:10 But now Bayern Munich are coming to this other game as underdogs.
01:13 I said if they were to have a chance to get into the final they have to win that home game at the Allianz Arena.
01:22 But now they didn't win. They are now going to Santiago Bernabeu.
01:25 They are the underdogs coming into this game.
01:27 Madrid have the fans at their side. They have a good coach. They have a good squad.
01:31 They even just won the La Liga. A lot of momentum.
01:35 That's their 16th La Liga. They have an 11 point margin above Girona at this point in time.
01:42 Their confidence is sky high. They rested players against Cardiff over the weekend.
01:48 It looks really difficult because even Bayern Munich lost to Stuttgart.
01:52 They also rested players. All for this fixture on Wednesday.
01:55 Let's see how entertaining it's going to be.
01:58 Bayern Munich are coming to this game as underdogs. Madrid are flying high.
02:01 One result that we didn't particularly see happen the last time was Dortmund.
02:06 Although I remember you made a lot of emphasis on the home advantage for both your Dortmund in the first leg.
02:12 And it came to play really.
02:14 Yeah. The whole talk was about Jadon Sancho.
02:19 But we know Nicolas Foucault got a striker's goal.
02:23 Pure attacking finish in that one.
02:26 But now they are going to pack the prance.
02:29 And immediately after the game, Marquinhos was already saying that look we know we can get the job done in France.
02:35 Will home advantage be a thing again in this one?
02:38 Yes definitely because they actually defeated the same Borussia Dortmund side in the group stage.
02:42 Now this is going to be the fourth time they are meeting PSG this season alone.
02:47 They played twice before.
02:49 And the former fixture, Paris won two goals to nil due to home advantage and everything.
02:54 I also factored in that the way the game against Barcelona went.
02:59 There's confidence on their side.
03:01 They lost in the first leg. In the second leg they came back and did the business.
03:05 How much more now playing in front of your home fans?
03:07 They will be spurred up to get the results.
03:09 So let's quickly take your score prediction.
03:11 How do you think this will go in terms of the scores?
03:14 You didn't do well in the first leg.
03:16 I tried.
03:17 I got one over two. Anyway.
03:19 One out of two matches.
03:21 Well okay. Let me see.
03:22 Do I go first in my prediction?
03:23 No.
03:24 Okay do.
03:25 Borussia Dortmund.
03:26 That's the first thing.
03:28 I think they are going to crush out.
03:31 The score line probably will be 3-1.
03:33 Okay.
03:34 And I feel Paris Saint-Germain, I think Kylian Mbappe having him in that team is the sort of player that can always come up with the goods.
03:44 Anytime.
03:45 Like he did in the first leg.
03:47 Definitely.
03:48 And Ogan was here in the first leg against, the second leg against Barcelona.
03:51 I did say look you can't.
03:53 I spent a lot of time on the show and I told him look.
03:55 You can't put out Kylian Mbappe.
03:58 Or Peter van der Vee.
03:59 Yeah.
04:00 And you are going to his home patch where he is most comfortable right now.
04:03 He is trying to make a statement for himself if this is supposedly illegal to be his last season.
04:08 Yeah.
04:09 Because speculation is that he will leave.
04:12 It's just a game to the final.
04:13 Yeah and he wants to play against Madrid.
04:16 Who is where is heavily speculated that he will play next season.
04:21 I mean it's been speculated for a number of years now that he is going to move there.
04:24 But we are not going to do a lot of talk on that.
04:27 But I just, I just, I can't do scores.
04:30 I just see that.
04:31 You have to go for the qualification.
04:33 I just see that Paris Saint-Germain will see this one out.
04:36 It feels like that.
04:38 I mean, I think at the end of the day Borussia Dortmund will have only themselves to blame.
04:42 Because they had a number of chances.
04:44 Chances, yes.
04:45 At the Signal.
04:46 And the Champions League now, there is no full advantage.
04:49 You have to bear your chances.
04:50 You have to.
04:51 It's a transition heavy competition where you have to take chances as they come.
04:56 And that didn't happen so much for them.
04:58 1-0 is really slender.
05:00 How they do in France, we'll have to wait and see.
05:02 But in the other game, I do feel that it's Real Madrid all the way.
05:07 It's really difficult to put out Real Madrid in this stage at the Santiago Bernabeu.
05:12 I do not see it.
05:13 You don't see it happening.
05:14 I don't see it happening in any other way.
05:16 I can't imagine a world where Real Madrid would not be in the final.
05:21 I can't.
05:22 At this particular point, Bayern Munich have slipped up.
05:26 They missed their chances.
05:27 Yes.
05:28 Madrid will be getting the win.
05:30 If they don't get the win, they're going to be qualified.
05:32 So we're looking at a Paris Saint-Germain-Real Madrid final.
05:36 And it looks like both of us are in agreement with that.
05:39 But we'd like to also have your thoughts.
05:41 Who will win the UEFA Champions League this season?
05:45 Is it going to be Real Madrid?
05:46 Will it be Paris Saint-Germain finally?
05:48 Or will it be Borussia Dortmund?
05:50 Or can Bayern Munich revive their chances at this stage?
05:54 Let us know in the comment section.
