Loss to UST will be our motivation for title bid next year - Canino

Angel Canino and the De La Salle Lady Spikers' reign came to an end after the win-once UST Golden Tigresses defeated them, 20-25, 25-16, 20-25, 25-19, 7-15, in their UAAP Season 86 women's volleyball Final Four match at the Mall of Asia Arena on Sunday, May 5.

In a quick chat with reporters, Canino, who logged 14 points, 12 excellent digs, and eight receptions, said that they will use the painful loss as motivation for another title bid next year.

The Lady Spikers might have endured a painful defeat but they were all smiles when they greeted some of their fans near the player's entrance of the MOA Arena.

The fans also serenaded the Lady Spikers with La Salle's chant: 'D-L-S-U, Animo La Salle!'
