00:18 When we understand faith in Surah Al-An'am,
00:22 it is related to "La ilah" about the blessings
00:25 that are felt that it is not moving.
00:28 But in Surah Al-A'raf, Allah brings us closer
00:31 to the stories about time, about history
00:34 because when humans get older,
00:37 get more comfortable in life,
00:39 sometimes they forget that there is a demand
00:42 from Allah for what has been
00:45 spoiled all this time.
00:47 This is the story, this is the Ayah of Allah
00:49 that Allah stated for guidance in this episode.

02:09 How are you ladies and gentlemen?
02:11 We meet again in My Quran Time.
02:13 Quran Salat Imfaq today,
02:15 we are going to go through Ayah 5-8 from Surah Al-A'raf,
02:19 Surah that gives guidance to us
02:22 to continue building a foundation,
02:24 to build a foundation in our lives,
02:26 to be steadfast to the revelation,
02:28 not to be on the fence,
02:30 not to follow the guidance of revelation from Allah.
02:33 And today we are going to read together
02:35 with Fadhil Ustaz, Tirmidhi Ali.
02:37 How are you Ustaz?
02:38 Alhamdulillah, Astaghfirullah, how are you?
02:40 I am fine, Alhamdulillah.
02:41 We continue today with Ayah 5-8,
02:44 Surah Al-A'raf,
02:46 the longest Surah in terms of its size.
02:50 In terms of number, there is Surah Ashu'ara,
02:53 which has many numbers but the verses are short.
02:56 So let us together, ladies and gentlemen,
02:58 those at home, those in the studio,
03:00 we begin our session with the prayer of Subhanakallah.
03:03 [Arabic]
03:11 We will see what are the subjects for Ayah 5-8.
03:14 Starting from the fifth verse,
03:17 to admit the sins and wrongdoings of the people
03:20 for their transgression.
03:22 We will follow from Ayah 6-7,
03:24 the information about the condition of the people
03:26 on the day of resurrection and reckoning.
03:28 And Ayah 8,
03:29 the weight of the consideration of goodness that benefits.
03:33 Let us together read Ayah 5-8
03:35 led by Fadhil Ustaz, Tirmidhi Ali.
03:37 Alhamdulillah.
03:39 Thank you, Fadhil Ustaz, Mr. Fazrul,
03:41 and all the companions who were given the opportunity.
03:43 Alhamdulillah, we are grateful to Allah SWT
03:46 to be able to meet together in My Quran Time,
03:50 to pray and to give information.
03:52 And inshaAllah, hopefully,
03:53 all of us will be made easier in our affairs
03:55 with the Quran and also Allah SWT
03:57 to grant us the goodness of the world of the hereafter.
04:01 InshaAllah, we will focus on
04:03 some of the Ayahs,
04:04 Ayah 5, 6, 7 and 8.
04:07 Let us read together.
04:10 A'udhu Billahi Minash Shaitanir Rajeem.
04:14 (Recitation from Holy Quran)
04:17 (Recitation from Holy Quran)
04:46 (Recitation from Holy Quran)
05:10 (Recitation from Holy Quran)
05:33 (Recitation from Holy Quran)
06:02 (Recitation from Holy Quran)
06:05 Assalamualaikum.
06:06 Assalamualaikum.
06:07 We have read together the Ayah 5 to 8 just now,
06:10 how Allah reminds us
06:12 the beginning of Surah Al-A'raf as a big reminder.
06:16 Allah gives a shock,
06:18 a strong shock for a shock
06:20 at the beginning of Surah Al-A'raf.
06:22 Because Surah Al-A'raf tells a lot about
06:24 the story and the Day of Allah,
06:26 the day when Allah helps those
06:28 who appreciate the time to believe.
06:30 But if those who are arrogant,
06:33 who feel that with all the blessings from Allah,
06:36 they can do anything,
06:39 then because they are comfortable,
06:42 then finally they are punished by Allah SWT.
06:48 So, among the things that prevent us
06:52 from doing harm or sin in a long term,
06:55 we have mistakes.
06:57 We have mistakes, but what keeps us away
07:00 from those things is by taking lessons
07:03 from the people before us.
07:05 Allah states in the fifth Ayah,
07:08 (Recitation from Holy Quran)
07:13 The people who are punished,
07:15 when the people are punished,
07:17 finally they say, they pray to Allah,
07:21 with the words,
07:23 (Recitation from Holy Quran)
07:28 That is, we are indeed doing wrong,
07:31 we admit that we are doing sins,
07:34 we do not appreciate the remembrance
07:37 of Allah, the remembrance of Allah
07:40 through the book brought by
07:42 Prophet Muhammad SAW.
07:45 So, this fifth Ayah is a lesson
07:49 where Allah brings the story of the people before us.
07:52 When we are punished,
07:54 we admit it.
07:56 But before we are punished,
07:58 among the sins and punishments,
08:00 the middle is the mercy.
08:02 That is what we learn from Surah Al-An'am.
08:05 But when Allah gives us the chance,
08:07 Allah gives us the time to repent,
08:09 there are many who are stubborn
08:11 or do not appreciate the remembrance
08:14 of Allah SWT.
08:16 The lesson for us is,
08:18 do not get sleepy,
08:20 only then you will be in the middle.
08:22 That is the lesson we learn
08:24 in our Malay tradition.
08:26 Do not get to the point of sunnah,
08:29 when you are in front of Allah's punishment,
08:32 then you say,
08:34 (Recitation from Holy Quran)
08:36 but it is too late.
08:38 That happens to the pharaoh,
08:40 when he is immersed in the Red Sea,
08:42 or to the righteous people,
08:44 among the people of the righteous,
08:46 etc.
08:47 When he is punished,
08:48 Allah admits,
08:49 but it is too late.
08:51 Moreover, Allah states in the 6th verse,
08:55 (Recitation from Holy Quran)
09:01 This is another one.
09:02 Allah says,
09:03 "We will certainly ask those
09:06 who have been sent to them,
09:08 meaning the messengers have been sent to them,
09:10 Allah will ask.
09:11 And the one who is asked is also the messenger.
09:14 The messenger must also be asked.
09:16 When we talk about being asked,
09:18 it is another term, being audited.
09:20 For example,
09:21 when we ask our friends in the studio,
09:25 "Have you studied the Quran?"
09:28 One such question,
09:30 or before going to class,
09:32 let's say the teacher says,
09:34 "Before going to class,
09:35 study first, do your homework."
09:37 And when it is just the beginning of class,
09:39 ask, "Have you done your homework?"
09:41 Just ask,
09:42 not to punish anyone.
09:44 But that question is actually a punishment
09:48 to those who do not do their homework.
09:50 But those who have done their homework,
09:52 and have reviewed what needs to be studied,
09:55 that is a blessing and a justice.
09:59 Meaning,
10:00 this teacher is indeed a sihir.
10:02 Moreover,
10:03 in the 6th verse,
10:04 Allah does not ask the students,
10:06 but Allah asks the teacher,
10:08 (Recitation from Holy Quran)
10:09 Allah asks the messenger,
10:10 and this is what causes the messenger
10:12 to feel a burden.
10:14 At the beginning of the 2nd verse of Surah Al-A'raf,
10:17 he feels a tightness,
10:18 that, "Oh no, I will have to ask later."
10:21 But more than that,
10:22 Allah states that the Quran is not to cause trouble,
10:25 but actually,
10:26 to ensure our deeds,
10:29 is a deed that is directed to Allah,
10:32 the heavy burden
10:33 that we will discuss in a moment.
10:35 We will take a break now.

11:30 understand and live by its meaning,
11:32 practice and make it
11:34 as a guide for life.
11:37 We will not only learn about the Quran,
11:39 but we will also learn about its deep meaning
11:41 and the segments of memorization.

14:08 Assalamualaikum,
14:12 welcome back to My Quran Time,
14:13 Quran Salah with Fahad.
14:14 We are together looking at verses 5-8
14:16 from Surah Al-A'raf.
14:17 Allah started Surah Al-A'raf
14:19 with a statement that
14:21 the people before this were destroyed.
14:24 Even though they were great,
14:26 they had good technology,
14:28 they could carve houses from their mountains,
14:31 they had businesses,
14:33 but they were destroyed at night
14:35 or in the day time when they were resting,
14:38 because they did not admit
14:41 the cruelty of their sins
14:43 when they were reminded by the messengers,
14:46 by the people who brought goodness.
14:48 But in the fifth verse, Allah states
14:50 that they were punished by the sunnah.
14:54 What did they say?
14:56 "Inna kunna zalimin"
14:57 They just wanted to admit it,
14:59 but it was too late.
15:01 So here, in the sixth verse, Allah explains
15:04 "Fa-lanas'alanna l-larina ursila ilaihim"
15:06 "So We will ask the people who were sent the message,
15:10 one of them was the people before,
15:12 but as a reminder to us,
15:14 We are "ursila ilaihim"
15:16 We are the ones who were sent,
15:18 we were given the message by the Prophet,
15:20 by the Messenger before this,
15:22 and we will be asked,
15:24 based on the second verse,
15:26 "Did we learn from the Quran that was revealed?"
15:32 Is the Quran something that we always wait for?
15:37 "Dhikra lil mu'minin"
15:39 as a reminder,
15:40 and we feel very fortunate because
15:42 it will guide us
15:44 to not get lost in the struggle,
15:47 the journey to Allah SWT.
15:50 And one more question,
15:52 at the end of the third verse,
15:54 "Khali lama tadakarun"
15:55 "Did you learn from the Quran?"
15:59 If Allah asks like that in the hereafter,
16:02 it is indeed,
16:04 it is indeed,
16:05 and hopefully,
16:06 when we ask here,
16:08 we learn from,
16:10 "O Allah, don't let me say,
16:12 'We are oppressors to the Quran'"
16:14 Then, the effect is,
16:15 here again,
16:16 we have admitted our oppression,
16:18 we just say,
16:20 "Rabbana, Zalamna, Anfusana, Wa ilam tawfir lana,
16:23 la nakunan amina l-khasirin"
16:24 This is a prayer that we will learn from Surah Al-A'raf.
16:28 Whose prayer?
16:29 The prayer of the first human being,
16:31 the prayer of Prophet Adam,
16:32 when he was wronged and admitted to repenting to Allah.
16:35 That is the technique that saved us,
16:38 which is conveyed in verse number 6.
16:41 And more than that,
16:42 when we talk about these stories,
16:44 the polytheists in Mecca,
16:46 they say,
16:47 "This Prophet,
16:48 this is the story of the first human being,
16:50 this is a fairy tale."
16:53 They say,
16:54 "These stories,
16:55 it is always the same story,
16:56 Prophet Moses,
16:57 Prophet Adam,
16:58 it is always the same."
17:00 This is a scary story, for example.
17:02 They say like that.
17:04 Allah answers in verse 7,
17:06 we read together with Satir Mizi.
17:09 I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan.
17:13 So We will surely share with them a knowledge,
17:26 and We were not absent.
17:42 So We will surely share with them a knowledge,
17:50 and We were not absent.
18:01 I seek refuge with Allah.
18:02 I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan.
18:03 In verse 7, Allah says,
18:04 "And We will surely share with them a knowledge,
18:07 and We are not far from them."
18:11 One, when Allah uses the word "falanaqusanna"
18:14 from the word "qasaa"
18:15 it is a little different from "haqqa"
18:17 which means "story".
18:18 "Haqqa" is a story in a brief way.
18:20 But "qasaa" is a story that has a detail,
18:24 and the detail is not only being conveyed to us,
18:29 but the meaning of "qasaa" is related to "kussi"
18:32 which we see in the story of the mother of Prophet Moses
18:35 ordering her sister,
18:37 she said, "Order kussi,
18:39 please follow the coffin or the basket
18:43 that Prophet Moses was placed in."
18:46 So when we know that Allah is conveying a story,
18:49 we will convey the story to them with knowledge,
18:53 not only knowing the story that is full of details,
18:56 but we need to follow the story
18:58 if it is a good guidance,
19:00 and if it is not good,
19:01 that is what we need to keep away from.
19:04 So this is one introduction from Surah Al-A'raf
19:08 because there are many stories in this surah,
19:12 and Allah has set it for us,
19:13 the mindset is that this story is not just a story,
19:18 it has a detail,
19:19 and every detail needs to be followed
19:22 for us to be the people who are given blessings,
19:25 "Sirat al-lari'n an'amta 'alayhim"
19:27 which we always pray for every time we pray,
19:30 when we read,
19:31 when we read Al-Fatihah.
19:33 And this story is not just a story that is conveyed,
19:36 but conveyed with knowledge,
19:38 that is as a response to the accusations
19:41 of the polytheists to Prophet Muhammad SAW,
19:45 "This is all just a story,
19:47 this is a story,
19:48 we heard this story before,
19:49 this is also a story."
19:51 But we understand that with this knowledge,
19:54 if we understand in Surah Al-Fatihah,
19:56 "Alhamdulillah rabbil 'alamin"
19:57 "All praise is for Allah, Lord of the worlds."
19:59 Knowledge is for us to get to know nature,
20:02 and then to get to know the creator of nature.
20:05 So when Allah brings the story with knowledge,
20:07 so that we become aware of who we are in nature,
20:11 "All praise is for Allah, Lord of the worlds."
20:13 And we get to know the Lord,
20:15 "Wa ma kunna ra'ibin"
20:17 And we, Allah SWT, are not a 'raib'.
20:20 He does not appear,
20:22 He does not know the details of what is happening.
20:25 Allah knows.
20:26 What He does not know is Prophet Muhammad SAW.
20:30 What He does not know is us.
20:32 Therefore, Allah, the All-Knowing,
20:34 is present in all the events that happened in the previous stories.
20:39 Allah is the One who brings the knowledge
20:41 for us to follow and to make it as a guide in life.
20:46 And when we talk about "Wa ma kunna ra'ibin"
20:49 we will meet the term of people who believe in the word 'raib'
20:54 in the beginning of Surah Al-Baqarah.
20:57 One 'raib' is not seen.
21:00 Not seen, not necessarily not exist.
21:02 That is what we need to understand.
21:04 And when we talk about "wa ma kunna ra'ibin"
21:06 it gives birth to the feeling of being watched.
21:10 We are being watched.
21:11 If people in the past,
21:13 it was like there was a CCTV
21:15 and finally it was recorded and informed now.
21:18 We have a story, "wa ma kunna ra'ibin"
21:21 We will always be watched.
21:24 So, when we read this 7th verse,
21:26 we hope to feel one thing.
21:29 When Allah reminds us in a way of 'hentakan'
21:31 we are afraid.
21:32 And that fear is because
21:34 every single thing that we do
21:37 is recorded and witnessed by Allah SWT.
21:41 Leading to the chosen word of the day.
21:44 We will witness.
21:45 The word is
21:47 "Fa man thakulat mawazinuh"
21:50 The word 'thakulat' is from the word 'thakula'
21:52 which means 'heavy'.
21:53 It is mentioned 28 times in the Quran.
21:55 It appears in Surah Al-Mu'minun,
21:57 Surah Al-Muzzamil and also Surah Al-Qari'ah.
22:00 So, here as a reminder from Allah SWT
22:05 that Allah is not absent.
22:07 Allah is always present,
22:08 watching what we do
22:10 and whether our deeds
22:13 have a heavy or light weight.
22:16 This is what we will learn in the next verse
22:19 so that we are responsible
22:21 for every time that Allah has given us.
22:23 The age that Allah has given us.
22:25 Because the people before us
22:27 were comfortable at that time.
22:28 At first, it was difficult.
22:30 Then, they succeeded in becoming
22:32 a wealthy person with good technology
22:34 until they forgot that
22:36 every effort and satisfaction that they had
22:39 should be more grateful
22:41 and not more disbelieving
22:43 to Allah SWT.
22:44 We will take a break now.
22:45 In a while,
22:46 my Quran Time, Quran Salat info.
22:47 InshaAllah.

24:20 This hadith is categorized as a false hadith
24:23 because it has the characteristics of a false hadith
24:26 which is a brief practice.
24:28 It means one practice
24:29 but its meaning is like
24:31 the meaning of the rewards of Prophet Ibrahim.
24:32 MashaAllah.
24:33 That's how it is.
24:34 So, this Ustaz Usaini
24:35 on the eighth night of Trawa'il prayer
24:37 received the rewards of Prophet Ibrahim.
24:39 What's interesting is that I have this book.
24:41 MashaAllah.
24:42 I have this book.
24:43 It says, "The first night, the rewards are this and this."
24:46 But we didn't have much time to study.
24:49 So, we already know about the hadith
24:52 which is viral but not authentic.
24:53 We will take it as a reference.
24:55 That's right.
24:56 This is very important.
24:57 We should learn about the study of hadiths.
25:00 Perhaps, before this,
25:01 there were many hadiths
25:03 which we are used to hearing in the society.
25:05 But we are worried
25:06 that these hadiths are not correct.
25:09 One of the characteristics of a false hadith
25:13 as mentioned in the slide,
25:15 is that it is a big sin towards a deed.
25:20 (Recitation of Qur'an)
25:40 (Music)
25:44 (Recitation of Qur'an)
26:12 (Music)
26:24 Alhamdulillah.
26:25 We are back again.
26:26 My Qur'an Time.
26:27 Qur'an, Salat and Imfah.
26:29 Alhamdulillah.
26:30 We have heard some verses.
26:32 I have noticed that there is no burr.
26:34 Hopefully, the Qur'an will be a guide
26:37 to take the Qur'an as our love.
26:40 Not only we read it day and night.
26:43 But we should also try to understand
26:46 the content of the Qur'an
26:48 to make it a lesson in our life.
26:51 InshaAllah.
26:52 Alhamdulillah, we have reached the slide
26:55 to pack up the Qur'an.
26:59 Because the Qur'an is also commanded to us
27:02 to read it with the best of intentions.
27:05 (Recitation of Qur'an)
27:10 Read it with the best of intentions.
27:13 Hopefully, the letters we have mentioned
27:16 will build the words
27:18 to become the verses and the teachings
27:21 that will be understood.
27:23 Alhamdulillah.
27:24 Let us see the 7th verse.
27:29 We choose the 7th verse.
27:32 (Recitation of Qur'an)
27:37 We can see it on the screen.
27:42 (Recitation of Qur'an)
27:45 Let us read it together.
27:47 (Recitation of Qur'an)
27:55 One, two, start.
27:57 (Recitation of Qur'an)
28:19 Okay.
28:20 (Recitation of Qur'an)
28:26 The word is in the letter "Sa"
28:29 which is in the form of "Sabdu".
28:31 Then, "Nun" is at the end.
28:33 "Qaf" is at the beginning of the letter "Sa".
28:37 (Recitation of Qur'an)
29:00 Let us try to say it with the letter "Ka".
29:03 (Recitation of Qur'an)
29:09 The letter "Ku" is thicker.
29:11 It is a bit different from "Kaf".
29:13 If "Kaf" is "Ku",
29:15 "Qaf" is "Ku".
29:17 It is deeper than "Kaf".
29:19 It is mixed with the thicker letter.
29:21 Let us try to say it with "Ku".
29:23 (Recitation of Qur'an)
29:30 Do not say it with "Ku".
29:32 (Recitation of Qur'an)
29:34 Not "Kus", but "Ku".
29:36 (Recitation of Qur'an)
29:38 Okay.
29:39 Then, "Sa".
29:40 (Recitation of Qur'an)
29:44 Repeat.
29:45 (Recitation of Qur'an)
29:47 The letter "Sa" is explained with "Sin".
29:50 Although "Qaf" is at the beginning,
29:54 when it dies, it is in the form of "Sabdu",
29:56 we see the letter "Sa".
29:58 (Recitation of Qur'an)
30:17 Then, the letters between "Nun" and "Ayn".
30:21 "Na'a".
30:22 Try to say "Na'a".
30:24 We read the surah Al-Fatirah,
30:26 (Recitation of Al-Fatirah)
30:44 We find a rule,
30:46 "Mimati" meets the letter "Ba".
30:49 What is the rule?
30:51 "Mimati" meets the letter "Ba".
30:53 What is the rule?
30:55 "Ikhfaa".
30:56 Yes.
30:57 "Ikhfaa" is transparent.
30:59 It is extended a little bit.
31:01 (Recitation of Al-Fatirah)
31:04 Repeat.
31:05 (Recitation of Al-Fatirah)
31:09 At the end, when we stop,
31:11 there is "Laam" and "Mim" that die.
31:13 (Recitation of Al-Fatirah)
31:21 First, "Ayn" from below.
31:23 (Recitation of Al-Fatirah)
31:44 "Laam" dies and "Mim" at the end.
31:46 (Recitation of Al-Fatirah)
31:50 Like this.
31:51 Then, the second sentence,
31:53 the second section.
31:55 (Recitation of Al-Fatirah)
32:12 One more time.
32:13 (Recitation of Al-Fatirah)
32:24 There is "Sabdu" above "Nun".
32:26 Usually, we extend "Nun".
32:28 Then, "Ghin" that is above.
32:30 Then, there is "Mat".
32:32 What is the rule?
32:33 "Mat" is the letter "Alif" meets the letter "Hamzah".
32:36 "Mat" is the letter "Wajib".
32:38 We read it for 4 or 5 times.
32:40 (Recitation of Al-Fatirah)
32:57 Okay.
32:58 The letter "Ghin" is extended.
33:00 "Gha"
33:01 Then, the letter "Alif" that comes after.
33:03 "Alif" "Mat"
33:06 The sound of "Mat" is also extended.
33:08 "Mat" is "Gha".
33:10 It must be held there.
33:13 Do not make it "Nipia".
33:15 (Recitation of Al-Fatirah)
33:17 Do not make it "Gha".
33:18 "Gha" is extended.
33:20 The letter "Alif" is followed by the previous letter.
33:23 (Recitation of Al-Fatirah)
33:39 Okay.
33:40 Let us try to memorize this verse.
33:41 (Recitation of Al-Fatirah)
34:10 (Recitation of Al-Fatirah)
34:39 (Recitation of Al-Fatirah)
34:41 Okay.
34:42 Read it without looking at the Musaf.
34:44 You can close your eyes.
34:45 You can look at the Quran.
34:47 But you cannot look at the Quran.
34:48 (Recitation of Al-Fatirah)
35:11 (Recitation of Al-Fatirah)
35:19 Okay.
35:20 Let us continue.
35:21 One breath.
35:22 (Recitation of Al-Fatirah)
35:37 (Recitation of Al-Fatirah)
35:53 Okay.
35:54 That is the combination of the letters.
35:56 The letters "Hamas", the thick letters.
35:58 The letters "Mat".
36:00 There is the meaning of "Mat Wajib".
36:02 There is the meaning of "Idhagham".
36:03 When we connect them.
36:04 (Recitation of Al-Fatirah)
36:06 There are the letters "Nun" which are long.
36:08 Which are also long.
36:10 These are the disciplines.
36:11 When we read the Quran.
36:13 We follow what is in the Quran.
36:16 What was revealed to Prophet Muhammad SAW.
36:18 Prophet Muhammad SAW to the companions.
36:20 Generation to generation.
36:21 To our ancestors.
36:23 And Alhamdulillah.
36:24 Until that.
36:26 That is how the Quran is read.
36:28 Hopefully, we all are blessed by Allah SWT.
36:31 With the Quran.
36:33 Wherever we want to go.
36:34 Until the next time.
36:36 My Quran Time.
36:37 Quran Salat Imfah.
36:39 (Music)
36:49 (Recitation of Al-Fatirah)
37:08 (Music)
37:32 (Music)
37:47 (Music)
38:13 What was said by Coach Jamil.
38:15 About the "A'ifaba Ahlahu".
38:17 And how Prophet Muhammad SAW...
38:19 ...will move, awaken and surprise his family.
38:22 His wife and family.
38:24 That is something that we will understand...
38:28 ...right away from that hadith.
38:30 However, our scholars say...
38:32 ...what we need to emphasize from that statement...
38:35 ...is that we are not alone...
38:37 ...in doing good.
38:39 We must remember that we have a family...
38:41 ...that we want to encourage, to move them...
38:44 ...to do worship with us.
38:46 We don't want to enter heaven alone.
38:48 That's the easiest way.
38:50 If we have friends, if we don't have a family,
38:53 maybe we're studying, we have friends who are sleeping,
38:55 we should wake them up.
38:57 Maybe they have a programme, like Iftar,
39:00 as an advocate, etc.
39:02 They're tired.
39:04 They're back, they're sleeping.
39:06 We should try to move them.
39:08 At least, they should wake up and read a little zikr.
39:10 Zikr that is easy to read.
39:12 Welcome back to myQuranTime, Quran Salat and Imfaq.
39:39 We're together following the fifth to the eighth verse...
39:43 ...in which Allah explains to us...
39:45 ...that the stories of the people of the past...
39:48 ...and also our stories will be kept in mind.
39:51 "Wa ma kunna ghaibin"
39:53 Allah is not a 'ghaib' meaning Allah does not know...
39:57 ...about what happened in the past...
40:00 ...and also what we do.
40:02 All of that is under the knowledge of Allah SWT.
40:07 The effect of Allah knowing all of this...
40:10 ...is that what we do will become a record of deeds.
40:15 Whether good or bad,
40:17 which will be put on a scale.
40:22 We read in verse 8,
40:24 "It is a scale that we use to appreciate...
40:27 ...every moment that Allah has given us...
40:31 ...so that it will convert...
40:33 ...every moment into a record of deeds."
40:37 If it is a record of good deeds,
40:39 it will eventually weigh down...
40:42 ...the scales that will be in the hereafter.
40:45 Verse 8, we read with Al-Fadlul Sateen Mizi.
40:49 Yes.
40:51 "And the weight that Day will be the truth.
41:10 And whoever has weighed his scales...
41:19 ...it is they who are the successful."
41:31 Sadakallah.
41:32 Sadakallah, the weight of the eighth verse...
41:34 ...Allah says, "Wal-Wazan"
41:35 "And the weight that Day will be the truth."
41:39 "Wazan" is the weight when...
41:42 ...in the first phase, we have a record of deeds.
41:45 The deeds of good and the deeds of bad.
41:47 There are records that will be handed down to us.
41:50 And according to Ibn Abbas,
41:52 it will be like being weighed.
41:55 So when the record is based on Al-Haqq or truth,
42:00 when it is weighed,
42:01 "Thakulat Mawazi Nuhu"
42:03 it will weigh down the scales.
42:06 "And the weight that Day will be the truth.
42:09 And whoever has weighed his scales...
42:11 ...it is they who are the successful."
42:13 And the word "Mawazi Nuhu" is from plural.
42:16 From the word "Mizan"
42:17 it means there are many scales.
42:19 What does many scales mean?
42:21 The first scale is the scale of prayer.
42:24 How many times we pray,
42:26 it will be like a record.
42:28 Every time we pray, we get a record.
42:31 The record is when we say,
42:33 "Al-Haqq"
42:34 which is with sincerity to Allah,
42:36 according to the way of worship
42:38 that was shown by the Prophet SAW,
42:41 it is one thing that will weigh down the scales of prayer.
42:46 Then there is more.
42:47 If we say we read the Quran,
42:49 we read the Quran,
42:50 we read with "Haqqatila Watih"
42:52 with "Tadabur"
42:53 we understand it,
42:54 with we practice it,
42:56 then the records of our Quran throughout our lives
42:59 will weigh down the scales.
43:02 So, let us imagine,
43:04 there are many scales.
43:06 And the scales will become heavy
43:09 when it is done with the principle of "Al-Haqq"
43:12 with us always taking lessons from the book
43:16 that was conveyed in the second verse
43:18 and we always take "Tazkirah".
43:21 This "Tazkirah" is important
43:23 because when we talk about the record,
43:25 it is not just action.
43:28 Some say that if I pray, it is heavy.
43:33 If I read the Quran,
43:35 30 juzub is heavy.
43:36 That is one.
43:37 But more than that,
43:38 if we talk about awareness,
43:41 we pray with "Hushuq".
43:43 Prayer is two-fold,
43:44 but "Hushuq" will be because there is "Tazkirah" in that action
43:49 because of Allah.
43:50 Or we read the Quran,
43:51 we know the contents of the book
43:53 which makes us more aware of Allah.
43:55 So, even though it is one page,
43:59 it is light for other people.
44:01 But this one is very heavy.
44:02 Why is it heavy?
44:03 Apparently, because I am taking "Tazkirah",
44:06 I am becoming more and more devoted to Allah.
44:10 The awareness in our heart
44:12 will be considered as heavier
44:15 and finally, we are made public,
44:18 combined,
44:19 because it is heavy,
44:20 then finally, it becomes successful people.
44:24 So, this is a big lesson for us
44:27 that we have to increase our deeds.
44:32 But our deeds,
44:34 if it is in the first verse,
44:36 we need to always humble ourselves
44:38 and feel Allah is great.
44:41 Alif Lam Mim Sad.
44:42 We don't know, Allah knows.
44:43 Our deeds need to be with the style of "Dhikra Al-Mu'minin",
44:47 always with the awareness that
44:49 I am learning from the Quran
44:52 and it is the Quran that is allowing my faith.
44:55 So, deeds are what we need to consider.
44:57 And to make it heavier,
44:58 we need to always look for "Tazkirah".
45:01 Don't be a person who takes
45:03 a little bit of the Quran as a reminder.
45:05 We learn,
45:06 we attend the Quran gathering,
45:08 we attend the knowledge gathering.
45:10 The more "Tazkirah",
45:11 we remember "Tazkirah" is "Sedah".
45:13 What is "Sedah"?
45:15 Apparently, the awareness,
45:17 we come to the knowledge gathering,
45:19 we become aware.
45:20 It makes our deeds heavier.
45:22 Why?
45:23 Because when we learn that knowledge,
45:25 when we do deeds,
45:26 it will be included in it.
45:27 For example, when we talk about fasting,
45:30 "La'al lakum tatta'kun"
45:32 means "La'al lakum tatta'kun"
45:33 usually translated as "so that you are righteous".
45:35 But when actually "La'al lakum tatta'kun"
45:37 means "so that you are afraid of Allah,
45:40 ask Allah to forgive your sins", for example.
45:43 So, the effect is when we fast,
45:45 one, it will double the deeds of righteousness
45:48 after the fasting.
45:50 And the second,
45:51 when we fast,
45:53 Allah destroys,
45:54 Allah erases our sins.
45:56 So that when we know "Tazkirah",
45:58 we attend the knowledge gathering,
45:59 we understand,
46:00 "Oh, that means "tatta'kun"
46:01 in Surah Al-Baqarah verse 183.
46:04 When we fast,
46:05 we know that
46:06 "O Allah, I fast not because I am great.
46:09 I am not fasting because of
46:11 "Dhan" 23 rak'ahs.
46:12 It is not like that.
46:13 But I fast,
46:14 I fast,
46:15 I read the Quran correctly,
46:17 I continue my life's study,
46:20 because I ask Allah to forgive me."
46:23 So, when the heart is full of
46:26 the feeling of humility
46:27 when doing all the acts of worship,
46:29 that is the secret.
46:30 So, our consideration is weighed,
46:33 and finally we are declared,
46:35 "Wa fa'ula ikahumul muflihun"
46:38 which leads to our resolution today.
46:40 Let's see.
46:41 First, we are sincere in
46:43 giving the confession of sins and repentance
46:45 before it is too late.
46:46 And this is what is taught
46:48 in the 5th verse just now.
46:51 Second, give the best deeds
46:53 because we expect Allah's approval
46:55 as we learn from the 7th verse
46:58 that Allah indeed says
47:01 "Wa ma kunna wa Ibn"
47:02 Allah knows what we do
47:04 up to what is in our hearts.
47:07 Third, increase the remembrance of Allah
47:09 to weigh the consideration of goodness.
47:13 And this thought is with us
47:15 as we always interact with the Quran
47:17 and take a lot of lessons
47:19 from the revelations
47:21 that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala gives.
47:24 Together, we pray to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
47:26 that our deeds after this
47:28 are deeds that are full of
47:30 remembrance and meditation.
47:32 Not deeds that are not remembered
47:34 or automatic.
47:35 Sometimes, the prayer is automatic.
47:37 Zong!
47:38 The 5th rak'ah, the 6th rak'ah,
47:40 if it is the month of fasting.
47:41 We do not want to be like that.
47:42 We want to be full of awareness
47:44 and remembrance towards Allah.
47:46 Together, we pray.
47:48 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
47:49 Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.
47:50 And peace and blessings be upon
47:51 the most honored of the Muslims
47:53 and upon his family and companions.
47:55 O Allah, our Lord, forgive us
47:57 our sins.
47:58 O Allah, our Lord, forgive us
48:00 all the wrongs that we have done before.
48:02 O Allah, accept our forgiveness.
48:04 O Allah, accept our Istighfar.
48:06 O Allah, accept our repentance.
48:07 O Allah, accept the recitation
48:09 of the holy verses of the Quran.
48:10 O Allah, grant us understanding
48:12 about the verses that we have recited.
48:14 O Allah, in this way,
48:16 grant us goodness.
48:18 Whatever we have read,
48:19 whatever we have believed in,
48:20 O Allah, grant us to be Your servants.
48:22 O Allah, make us Your servants
48:24 who are freed,
48:25 forgiven of sins,
48:26 and freed,
48:27 and removed from the torment of Hell.
48:29 O Allah, and make us all enter
48:31 into Your Paradise.
48:32 O Allah.
48:33 Ameen.
48:34 And peace and blessings be upon
48:35 the most honored of the Muslims
48:36 and upon his family and companions.
48:37 And praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.
48:38 Ameen. And peace and blessings be upon
48:39 the most honored of the Muslims
48:40 and upon his family and companions.
48:41 May Allah accept our prayers
48:42 and we are always aware that
48:43 it seems that two people who are in prayer
48:45 can have a heavy burden
48:47 and another one is light
48:49 due to the dhikr and the tadkirah
48:53 that is given by the knowledge
48:55 from the revelation of Allah.
48:57 This is the awareness that we want to spread
48:59 in the society,
49:00 in the movement of the Quran,
49:02 where the Quran is an opportunity
49:04 for us to get dhikr
49:05 and to get more knowledge
49:07 so that our hearts,
49:09 when we pray the same prayer,
49:11 two people who are in the same prayer,
49:12 but because there is the Quran,
49:14 it becomes a burden to be weighed.
49:16 And you can contribute
49:17 and organize various programs
49:19 for the awareness of the Quran
49:21 because we hope that
49:22 with this awareness,
49:24 our deeds will be weighed
49:26 by Allah SWT.
49:29 InshaAllah, we will meet again
49:30 in the next series
49:31 to discuss together
49:32 what are the other verses
49:34 from Surah Al-A'raf
49:35 and we will face
49:37 the first story of Surah Al-A'raf
49:39 in My Quran Time,
49:40 Quran Salat Imfah.
49:41 InshaAllah.
49:42 Allahumma arhamna bilquran
49:50 wa aj'al lana imaman wa nuran
49:56 wa hudan wa rahman
50:01 Allahumma dhakirna
50:06 minhuma nasina
50:10 wa 'allina minhuma jahila
