00:03 - There's another running back here
00:04 and Arizona did really well.
00:06 I think everyone's gonna be looking
00:07 at the shiny piece they got.
00:09 They could be overlooking someone in the backfield, no?
00:12 - Yeah, they could be overlooking Trey Benson
00:14 because Benson's another guy too.
00:16 All that's ahead of him right now is James Conner.
00:18 So Conner is a piece that has age, has wear and tear.
00:22 And Conner's had a really good couple of years here
00:23 with the Cardinals.
00:24 Let's make no bones about that, but he is 29.
00:27 So at some point, Benson, again,
00:29 is gonna be very cheap in redraft leagues.
00:31 At some point, it feels like opportunity
00:33 will present itself.
00:34 And if you look at these projections,
00:36 100 attempts, 440 yards, three touchdowns,
00:38 it doesn't look very exciting.
00:40 But if Conner has an injury,
00:42 or if Benson takes over this backfield sooner
00:45 than you realize, because Benson's another guy
00:46 that can catch the ball in the backfield,
00:48 that could put him on the field more
00:50 at some point in the season than James Conner
00:52 as the Cardinals start to turn this offense
00:54 over in this new regime.
00:56 So keep an eye on Benson.
00:57 Another guy to keep an eye on too
00:58 is Marshawn Lloyd, who is buried
01:00 on the depth chart right now,
01:01 behind A.J. Dillon and behind the new toy, Josh Jacobs.
01:04 But already, you've heard the coaching staff
01:06 and LeFleur talk about how we see Marshawn Lloyd
01:09 as the next Aaron Jones.
01:10 Well, Aaron Jones was the workhorse of that backfield.
01:12 So keep a close eye on that one.
01:14 The Jacobs experiment could be a one and done
01:16 kind of situation.
01:17 So don't sleep on Marshawn Lloyd either.
01:20 Build these rookie running backs into your draft plans,
01:23 especially in redraft leagues.
01:24 But in Dynasty, they might be better than you realize
01:27 sooner than you realize.
01:29 Just be patient in redraft leagues in 2024.
01:32 And the last guy to talk about here is Brock Bowers.
01:34 Now, Brock Bowers, clearly the best tight end in this class,
01:37 and it was not close.
01:38 However, he ended up in a spot that's kind of curious.
01:42 The Raiders did a good job taking the best guy on the board,
01:44 and he was the best offensive piece on this board.
01:46 But he is behind in terms of target share of Devontae Adams,
01:49 probably Jacoby Myers too.
01:51 They already drafted Michael Mayer.
01:52 So they're maybe gonna run a lot of 12 personnel.
01:55 I don't know.
01:56 Maybe you're gonna get Brock Bowers working H-back,
01:58 working in the slot more, working outside.
02:00 And that's very possible.
02:02 55 receptions, 644 yards, four touchdowns.
02:05 That's underwhelming.
02:06 He's being drafted as tight end 12.
02:09 I don't know if he even gets there this year,
02:10 but he makes for a very interesting
02:12 by-low in Dynasty next year.
02:14 But I think you should temper your expectations
02:16 with Bowers in 2024, because it could be a situation
02:19 with that quarterback room
02:21 that he's got in Vegas this year.
