More and more of the decisions that affect our lives are being made in Europe. Our government is now getting rid of the opt out on immigration law that the Irish people voted for in the Lisbon Treaty. That will become another area, like agriculture and the environment, data collection and privacy, where policy is determined in Brussels.
That’s why, more than ever, we will need representation in Europe asking the difficult questions.
I am asking for your support in Ireland South (Munster, Wexford, Wicklow, Carlow & Kilkenny) on June 7th to hold those that make the decisions that affect our lives to account, to make sure we’re taken into account in their decisions.
