00:00The Press.
00:01Thanks, Karine.
00:02On abortion, does the administration have any reaction to this report that a Texas man
00:04has filed a petition to state district court in Texas to try and investigate possible illegal
00:10activity that was committed, he's saying, by his ex-partner because she went to Colorado
00:15to get an abortion?
00:16So, wait, what?
00:17Say that one more time.
00:18A man is looking to have an investigation into possible illegal activity his ex-partner
00:24traveled out of state from Texas to Colorado to seek an abortion.
00:29That sounds like there's a legal case, going to be careful not to respond from here.
00:35What I will say more broadly and what we have continued to say, that the attacks on reproductive
00:40health care that we have seen and makes it incredibly difficult for women to make decisions
00:45on their own body, for their own health, is devastating.
00:52It is devastating what we're seeing.
00:54And sadly, because of what happened, the overturning of Roe, because of the Dobbs decision
01:00that happened almost two years ago, we have seen just chaos, chaos across the board.
01:06And we see tens of millions of women who are now at risk of not being able to make that
01:13decision.
01:14I can't speak to individual cases.
01:16What I can speak to is the chaos that we have seen.
01:18What I can speak to is what the President and this administration, the Biden-Harris
01:22administration are committed to protecting a woman's right to choose, a woman's right
01:26to make a decision on her own body, on her own health care.
01:30And it's not just abortion, as you know, it's IVF that's under attack, contraception that's
01:34under attack.
01:35And so we're going to be very loud, continue to be loud and clear about that and ask Congress
01:41to make sure that Roe becomes the law of the land and they need to take action.
01:46Don't want to get into legal cases out there.
01:49I cannot do that from here.
01:51As it relates to reproductive health care, we've been very clear and we continue to do
01:55that from here.
