00:02 Returning to Bridgerton for season three has been amazing.
00:06 Action!
00:06 It's a bit terrifying coming back for season three,
00:08 knowing that the story is your love story.
00:10 I'm excited for everybody to see Nicola
00:13 Coughlin lead season three.
00:15 Penelope.
00:16 I've been eagerly awaiting your visit.
00:18 Some of the characters this season
00:20 have evolved into new looks, one being Penelope.
00:24 The transformation in Penelope has been amazing for me.
00:26 It really does make you feel so completely different.
00:29 For me, it reminds me of a young Agatha Danbury grasping
00:32 the metal of her own destiny.
00:34 Let's look fabulous and not be constantly
00:36 in eye-burning yellow.
00:37 I do not wish to see a citrus color ever again.
00:44 She starts out in her clothes from season one and season two.
00:48 Doing the makeup like how we did in season two,
00:50 very strong colors that doesn't necessarily
00:53 work with her skin tone, but definitely
00:55 works with the character.
00:57 I was like, this is great.
00:58 Like, it needs to go from this to the big change,
01:00 because that's what's going to be
01:01 really fun for the audience, for it
01:02 to look like a different person.
01:04 I should like to try something a little different tonight.
01:07 It felt right for there to be a makeover,
01:09 but we also wanted to approach it in a fresh way.
01:13 We could have done it slowly, but we quickly
01:16 changed her silhouette, changed her color palette.
01:19 Instead of doing the makeup like how we did in season two,
01:21 we used all the lines to lift the cheekbones up to God.
01:25 Pardon me, miss.
01:26 We failed to collect your clothes.
01:27 She is a butterfly emerging from a chrysalis this season.
01:33 It was so different to how she was before,
01:35 because it was all very rosy cheeks and fresh.
01:38 She needed her glow up for showing to the world
01:40 that she's this kind of really cool, independent woman.
01:44 It really helped the character, and she
01:45 has to grow in confidence.
01:46 It helped me grow in confidence, you know,
01:48 to feel good in the costumes.
01:49 It was great.
01:50 I can't wait for people to say it's really beautiful.
01:52 Who is she?
01:53 That, Your Majesty, is Miss Penelope Featherington.
01:57 I think a big part of it as well is
01:58 having Luke as a partner in it, because Colin
02:01 has a transformation as well.
02:02 He feels like he's matured.
02:04 He feels like he's grown up.
02:06 He feels like he's on a hunt for a purpose.
02:08 Is that her brother, Colin?
02:10 I think the internet has dubbed Colin's new look sexy pirate.
02:14 It's not too off from what we were intending.
02:18 It's good to be back.
02:19 Season one and season two, he was always,
02:20 let's say, a Bridgerton boy.
02:22 He was a little more dandy-ish.
02:24 His confidence has changed.
02:25 He's got, like, this element of swagger to him now.
02:28 Since when are you one who simply glides in?
02:30 He doesn't look like a boy anymore.
02:32 He looks like a man.
02:34 Everybody's development, I think,
02:36 has been really, really good.
02:37 It's not just Penelope.
02:39 There is a glow-up for many characters
02:42 who are not used to being in the center of things.
02:45 Will and Alice have also made a transformation.
02:48 This season, we have a very lovely wardrobe,
02:50 as you can see.
02:51 This is Montrach.
02:54 Ladies.
02:54 They obviously get into a little bit of money this season.
02:58 We get to really play with the palette, the makeup,
03:00 the hair, everything.
03:02 And with Kate, this season, we've softened her colors,
03:05 brought them into what we call the Bridgerton blues.
03:08 My costumes this season, I adore them.
03:10 We've also brought in a little bit of Indian influences.
03:13 It's been so exciting.
03:15 I can't wait for everyone to see what they're going to look like.
03:17 And I think that we've got such a lovely bouquet
03:19 of interesting people to look at and figure
03:21 out where they're going next.
03:23 Good to be home.
03:23 It certainly is.
