00:43 His FBI director says he's never seen so many elevated threats to our national security

00:51 in his entire career.

00:53 And that was his Christopher Wray.

00:55 Most Americans, like Lakin Riley, senselessly murdered by illegal immigrants.

01:01 Law enforcement officers like Christopher Gadden have been killed by illegal immigrants.

01:08 I won't go through the list.

01:10 One after another after another.

01:13 Good law-abiding, loving Americans who are dead.

01:18 They are not with us.

01:19 Their families grieve.

01:21 Most of Americans grieve.

01:24 Immigrants have been kicked out of their schools to house illegal immigrants and have to learn

01:29 remotely.

01:31 Cities and towns across America have cut public safety and education budgets as well to cover

01:38 the welfare of illegal immigrants.

01:42 Because in many cities and towns, we're paying for their housing, we're paying for their

01:46 clothing, we're paying for their travel, we're giving them debit cards.

01:52 We're paying for so many things, health care, that some good Americans don't even have as

01:59 we speak here and debate this right now.

02:02 But it's the Biden border agenda.

02:05 It's what he's about.

02:07 When you allow millions of unvetted people into our country, you have a reason.

02:15 When you don't know what they're going, what they're doing, what they're about, you have

02:19 a reason.

02:20 When you hinder, actually hinder, law enforcement's ability to apprehend and detain and deport,

02:27 which is the answer, you have a reason.

02:31 You are making America less safe.

02:34 And he can fix this crisis today.

02:38 Today, as we speak, he can fix it.

02:43 It took him one day.

02:44 It took him one day to undo and rescind every effective Trump border policy that we had.

02:50 And it could take him less than one day to reinstate them.

02:55 Because you know, America needs to have borders.

02:59 America needs to be safe.

03:02 Every day that goes by without doing so will only result in more lives lost.

03:08 And ladies and gentlemen, that is what we are debating today.

03:12 Do we want more individuals to die because of this policy?

03:21 More drugs and human trafficking at the hands of cartels at our border.

03:25 More threats to our national security.

03:27 Every day this president allows this crisis to continue, it becomes apparent to me, and

03:33 this is harsh, but I believe it's true, the chaos is intentional.

03:37 He is seeking to change the very fabric, the very structure, the America that we know,

03:44 forever, to hold on to his own political power.

03:48 And that must be condemned in the strongest possible terms.

03:52 And no, this isn't a waste of time.

03:53 No matter how many times it takes, no matter how many times we have to say it, we will

03:58 not succumb, we will not give up, we will not stop it, because we are fighting for the

04:03 United States of America and it is worth it.

04:06 I support this resolution.

04:07 I urge its passage and I yield back.
