00:28 - His targets are many, including Kevin Federline,
00:30 the professional dancer who famously married Britney Spears.
00:33 Em places the Federline diss in the heart of the chorus,
00:36 singing, "So baby, make just like K-Fed
00:39 "and let yourself go."

00:45 - This is an allusion to Federline's weight,
00:47 as he noticeably gained a couple of pounds

01:05 - Number 19, Everlast, Quitter.
01:08 A pioneer of rap rock, Everlast is known
01:10 for both his solo work and for being a part of House of Pain,
01:13 releasing popular singles like "Jump Around"
01:16 and "What's It Like?"
01:17 ♪ And you really might know what it's like ♪
01:20 - But he was also known for having an intense feud
01:23 with Eminem in the late '90s and early 2000s.
01:26 The two traded numerous diss tracks,
01:28 and in his song "Whitey's Revenge,"
01:30 Everlast questioned Eminem's fraternity to Hailey Jade.
01:33 Well, don't go after someone's kid, ever.
01:36 Em responded with "Quitter," a whole diss track
01:39 aimed at Everlast in which he takes numerous pot shots
01:42 at his felon career in hell.

02:46 and "Nell in the Coffin," in which Em aims
02:48 to end Benzino's career.
02:50 They're both equally scathing, showcasing Eminem

03:10 He released a diss track, "Loose Change,"
03:13 in which Ja made the horrible decision to bring in Hailey.

03:18 - Well, we all know how that goes.
03:21 An irate Eminem joined up with D12
03:23 and Obey tries to do Hailey's revenge,
03:25 subtitled "Do Re Mi," a legendary diss track
03:28 aimed squarely at Ja Rule.

03:34 - The insults and comebacks are ferocious,
03:36 and Em even brings Hailey onto the song
03:38 to make fun of Ja Rule's children.
03:40 The anger really spills out at the end of the piece
03:43 when Eminem drops the rapping to simply scream at Ja Rule
03:46 and threaten him with physical violence.
03:48 Number 16, Tori Spelling, "Love Gang."
03:51 Sometimes Eminem disses a celebrity
03:53 because they dissed him first,
03:55 and sometimes he disses them, well, just because.

04:36 Number 15, Machine Gun Kelly, "Kill Shot."
04:39 It's rare for a diss track to find commercial success,
04:42 but that wasn't the case with "Kill Shot."

04:48 Arguably Em's most popular diss track,
04:51 it reached number three on the Hot 100,
04:53 and at the time, had the greatest debut

04:59 the diss track "Rap Devil,"
05:01 a rather obvious play on Eminem's rap god.
05:04 Em then released "Kill Shot,"
05:05 and well, it was pretty much exactly that.

05:29 For a while there, pop culture was full of disses

05:33 Eminem was hardly the only person getting in on the fun,
05:36 with Tina Fey mercilessly and famously impersonating
05:39 the governor on "Saturday Night Live."
05:41 - You've got Alaska here,
05:43 and this right here's water,
05:44 and then that's, up there's Russia.

05:49 - Eminem comes after Palin in "We Made You,"
05:51 the second single off "Relapse."

06:08 changing its meaning into something far cruder.

06:13 but we couldn't imagine Palin being very happy with this.

06:19 Number 13, Lady Gaga, "A Kiss."
06:22 Eminem works with Royce Da 5'9"
06:23 in a hip-hop duo called Bad Meets Evil,
06:25 and in 2011, they released their debut EP, "Hell," the sequel.

06:48 that were surrounding Gaga at the time,

06:57 In an interview with "Fuse,"
06:58 Em claims that he loves Gaga and has no animosity towards her.
07:02 He just wanted to make the joke and saw his opportunity.
07:05 Number 12, Nick Cannon, "The Warning."
07:08 Unlike Lady Gaga, Eminem has a very personal beef
07:11 with Nick Cannon, and it goes back years.
07:14 Em repeatedly name drops Cannon's ex-wife, Mariah,
07:17 in his song, claiming that the two have a physical past.

08:05 you probably know the lyrics to "The Real Slim Shady."
08:08 And you will know that he calls out Will Smith
08:10 and his family-friendly style of music.

08:17 The origin dates back to the 1999 VMAs,
08:20 when Smith won Best Male Video over Eminem.
08:23 Smith came at Em in his acceptance speech
08:25 saying that despite never killing anybody
08:27 or using profanity in his songs, he still managed to win.

08:32 arguing that he dissed gangsta rap music
08:34 and coming back with the famous diss

09:27 While normally focusing his diss tracks
09:29 on celebrities and other entertainers,
09:31 Em is not one to shy away from politicians or public figures.

09:39 Donald Trump first felt the wrath of Slim Shady
09:42 in October of 2016 with his track entitled "Campaign Speech,"
09:46 where he called out Trump as someone
09:47 not fit for the presidential role.
09:49 The insults continue with his feature
09:51 on Big Sean's track "No Favors,"
09:53 where Em explained how he plans to ruin Trump's brand.

10:23 This American sex symbol was a defining figure of the 1990s,

11:00 Meanwhile, Eminem rose to stardom,

11:10 Despite this awkward phrasing of this pop culture diss,

11:30 only to compare himself to said King in verse three,
11:33 noting how they similarly reappropriated
11:35 a black music genre and faced similar backlash.

11:51 Both Em and Elvis significantly affected pop culture,
11:54 but in slightly different ways.

11:59 Number six, Michael Jackson, "Just Lose It."
12:02 By taking aim at the King of Pop
12:04 in his 2004 Billboard hit,
12:06 Eminem touches on the troubling scandal Michael Jackson faced,
12:09 as well as the dark side of celebrity fame.

12:17 With this aggressive diss, Em drops a safety net too,

12:54 For a little context, the feud between Slim Shady and ICP

13:03 would perform at a launch for the Slim Shady EP
13:05 without asking.

13:32 to insulting Violent J and Shaggy Too Dope,
13:35 it's evident Shady has a lot to get off his chest.

13:42 Verse three packs a wallop.
13:44 First calling out NSYNC members Chris Kirkpatrick
13:47 and Limp Bizkit, Eminem roasts popular New York City DJ Moby.

13:52 The rhyme captures a specific time and place
13:55 with Eminem shouting out to Obi Trice to beat up Moby.
13:57 It all stems from Moby's criticism of Eminem
14:00 at the 2001 Grammys, when he claimed
14:03 that the content of Eminem's lyrics
14:04 are blatantly homophobic, sexist, and racist,
14:07 which could be misinterpreted
14:09 by impressionable younger audiences.
14:11 It's clear that Moby rattled Eminem a bit,
14:13 since his Without Me slam in true Eminem fashion

14:54 which maybe wasn't a surprise given Eminem's reputation.

15:06 In quite the elaborate and revealing verbal beatdown,

15:16 In a special on MTV for her hit, "What a Girl Wants,"

15:28 At the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards,
