We sat down with Billboard cover star T-Pain and went down memory lane to find out the stories behind some of his biggest hits including: "Buy U a Drank," "Bartender," "I'm Sprung" and more! 02:50 It was for us, because every time he had an idea,
02:53 I had to go back and work on the song.
02:55 It wasn't like a continuous two weeks.
02:57 It was like, all right, that was the session,
03:00 I got shows and stuff, and he's like,
03:01 "Hey, can you come back after the show
03:04 "and then come do it again?"
03:05 And I'm like, "No, my show was on the other side
03:07 "of the country."
03:08 He's like, "Yeah, that's fine, I'll fly you back."
03:10 Like, no, I don't wanna do that, Kanye.

03:12 I don't feel like doing that, that's stupid as hell.
03:15 Very stressful song to make, but it turned out great.
03:18 September 29th, the song finally launched,
03:20 and it was different.
03:22 But once the song got released,
03:23 I don't think I was happy, because like I said,
03:25 he didn't use the stuff that was supposed to be hooks.
03:28 He just kinda pieced together a lot of other stuff I did,
03:31 but it worked, it worked.
03:33 You can't deny that it didn't work.
03:35 It's a dope song.
03:36 It made the chart, so here we are talking about it.

07:18 in New Orleans and spent seven weeks at the top.
