00:00 I wouldn't sign that petition. I'm too near to perhaps dying to vote to be a
00:09 turkey voting for Christmas. But to me I don't agree with it in principle,
00:18 but I can understand the logic. The thing with youth and age really depends on an individual's
00:22 personal circumstance. I know a lot of people say if somebody's life is really like a sad and
00:28 unhealthy as it is, maybe assisting suicide would actually help. Because if we do have the right to
00:36 live, then do we have the right to our own death? I think it's very contentious. I've been back in
00:44 Fort Lavalinda for 12 years and I've seen people, young people, middle-aged people, old people with
00:51 cancer managing or going through a lot of stages of pain. And you have to look at it.
