00:07 Hi, this is Peter, the head of production at Massive Damage,
00:10 and I'm going to show you a little bit of our upcoming game, Pharah, The Sundered Tribes.
00:14 If you haven't seen Pharah before, it's a combination of co-op monster hunting,
00:18 open world survival craft, and a tribal colony sim with a heavy focus on aerial mechanics.
00:23 This is my village here.
00:25 This is where I manage my tribe and where they craft all the equipment and potions
00:28 and weapons and food, you know, all the stuff that we need to survive in Pharah.
00:32 We're out of harm's way here.
00:34 We live on a magical floating island.
00:36 It's surrounded by friendly sky whales, but when I go to the underland below,
00:40 that's when things get a little bit more interesting.
00:43 The world of Pharah is designed to be kind of a jungle gym for aerial mechanics.
00:48 You can chain together moves of gliding and tethering to achieve really fast speeds,
00:52 and it's a lot of fun to see your friends zipping around you, soaring in the air like your fighter jets.
00:57 But right now we're on a mission to track down a Grok'tuk's egg, which we've located here.
01:02 This is going to involve us fighting a large Grok'tuk, so you can see a little bit of how combat works.
01:06 Our combat design also retains that aerial focus, so in addition to physical attacks,
01:11 our monsters also attack you with elemental bullet hell style barrages,
01:15 which sort of test your mastery of Pharah's aerial mechanics.
01:20 In addition, you can also cling to the monsters and attack their different body parts
01:24 and even saw off craftable trophies mid-combat.
01:27 But as I mentioned, today I am on a hunt for a Grok'tuk's egg,
01:31 so while my friends have him distracted, I'm going to go find it.
01:35 When the time is right, I'll be able to hatch the egg and I'll gain a new addition to my beast menagerie,
01:39 who I can then bring into the Underland to help me out in all sorts of ways.
01:44 So that's a little snippet of what makes up our game.
01:46 If you like what you see and you want to find out more, give us a wishlist and follow us at playpharah.com.
