00:00First of all, you look incredible. You look like you're August Moon ready.
00:03You know, I was like, I have to show up for the boys, I have to show up for the band, so
00:07yeah, threw this little fit on.
00:09Of course, and you were in the band in the film as well.
00:12So what was that experience like for you?
00:14Kind of being in a fictionalized, now real-life maybe, boy band?
00:18Because you guys are doing pretty well on Spotify.
00:20Thanks. Yeah, it was, um, I honestly didn't know what to expect.
00:23I thought it was such an interesting opportunity, and I think when I was younger,
00:27like, being a pop star, I feel like it's everyone's dream at some point, and
00:31I always wanted to have that experience, but, you know, I love acting and I love dancing,
00:35so it took me in a different route, but
00:37yeah, it was, honestly, I was, like, so excited to have
00:39the opportunity to kind of live out that dream,
00:42um, even if it was not necessarily real, you know, so, yeah.
00:46I love that, because I know there's also been a lot of comparisons between
00:50August Moon and One Direction or other boy bands.
00:52Were there any specific boy band members that you
00:55took inspiration from, whether One Direction or not?
00:57Yeah, I think, um, yeah, like, One Direction, New Kids on the Block,
01:02even the Beatles, or, uh, yeah, all those bands, we kind of
01:06wanted to broaden and just look at what all of them cultivate and, like,
01:10what they bring, so we kind of saw, like, you know, all these boys are so individual,
01:15um, but the group is so, such a group, you know, so it's, like,
01:18building that camaraderie while also keeping that individuality.
01:21Um, yeah, so I don't think I necessarily looked at anyone specific,
01:25but it was more so, like, pulling, um, pieces and, like,
01:28little tidbits and, like, things like that, yeah.
01:30If you could be a part of any boy band current or past, which one would it be?
01:36Um, ooh, that's, that's a hard one.
01:38I think, honestly, that's, that's, like, I think I would have loved to be a part of Fall Out Boy.
01:46I saw them when I was younger, like, I was probably, like, 10, 12,
01:49and I saw them twice, and I've, that sat with me forever,
01:53like, the energy and those songs.
01:55It just looks so much fun, so, yeah, I think that'd be a fun one.
