00:00So we're here in Bishopswood and Spring Cottage and what a beautiful spring garden it is.
00:06Hello madam.
00:07Hello, nice to meet you.
00:09What's your name?
00:10My name's Rachel Glover.
00:11Rachel, and we're here to give you a plug because you're sharing your wonderful garden
00:15with the masses aren't you?
00:16I am.
00:17I am for the National Garden Scheme, a really worthy charity and people love to come to
00:24the garden, spend time in it, look at the plants and of course have my lovely delicious
00:28cake.
00:29Wow, fantastic.
00:30You've got quite a lot of unusual plants haven't you, you were saying, unusual specimens, so
00:36it's quite interesting on that level as well isn't it?
00:38Yes, I do like to have different rare varieties.
00:48But I manage to dig it all out, put all the pathways in, all the borders myself, we built
00:55the pergolas, so yeah, in three years we've now cultivated a lovely garden.
01:00It's become not just a passion but a living for you as well hasn't it, you design gardens
01:04as well.
01:05It is, Potentilla Garden Design, yes.
01:08I left management and retail after 30 years during Covid and went back to training at
01:16Rod Baston College for two and a half years where I got my Horticultural Level 3 Diploma
01:21and now I work in industry and I love being outside for well-being, it gives you, it's
01:29just a happy place to be in and makes you a happy person.
