00:00Happy Tuesday to all of us, I am Benison Estareja.

00:04The hot and humid weather continues in a large part of Luzon and Visayas

00:09because of the easterlies or the wind from the Pacific Ocean.

00:13And this easterlies brings a lot of rainfall or a lot of sunshine this afternoon until later in the evening.

00:19Meanwhile, it rains more in a large part of Mindanao because of the Intertropical Convergence Zone

00:25or ITCZ, which is found by the wind from the northern and southern hemispheres.

00:30And sometimes, the rains are strong, that's why we are being careful with possible floods and landslides.

00:36From later in the afternoon or this afternoon until early in the morning,

00:40the chance of rain is the highest in the Zamboanga Peninsula, Bangsamoro Region,

00:45as well as in Davao Region and Soxargén, light to moderate with at times heavy rains.

00:50That's why be careful with flash floods or landslides and bring an umbrella if you are going out of the house.

00:54There is also a chance of rain here in northern Mindanao, especially in Bukidnon,

00:58and also here in the Carraga Region, especially in Agusan del Sur.

01:02Here in Visayas, in the southern portions, the rains are also expected,

01:08especially in areas of Bohol, a large part of Siquijor, southern portions of Cebu, and Negros Oriental.

01:14There is also a chance of rain due to ITCZ.

01:17While in Visayas, plus a large part of Luzon,

01:21it's partly cloudy to cloudy skies this afternoon until early in the morning.

01:25And if you notice, there are expected thunderstorms in the Ilocos Region,

01:31Cordillera Administrative Region, nearby places in Cagayan and Isabela,

01:35and in the mountains here in the southern Luzon and Samar Provinces.

01:40And based on our latest satellite animation,

01:43we don't have any signs of floods here in Mindanao that could be a low-pressure area or flood,

01:48until the end of this Sunday.

01:51Tomorrow, May 1, Labor Day, Wednesday,

01:54we will still expect weather conditions that are almost the same as this day.

01:59We still expect partly cloudy skies until partly cloudy skies in the eastern side of Luzon

02:04while the weather is clear or fair weather conditions over the rest of Luzon in the morning until the afternoon.

02:10Then, when the afternoon arrives until the evening, there are chances of thunderstorms here in Metro Manila,

02:15as well as in nearby places in Central Luzon and Calabarzon,

02:19while there are still chances of floods in the Cordillera Region,

02:22plus Ilocos Region and Cagayan Valley,

02:24which are accompanied by isolated thunderstorms that last for 2 to 3 hours.

02:30Our temperature in Metro Manila will still remain hot.

02:33The temperature of the air is 37 degrees Celsius tomorrow, just like today,

02:39while in a large part of Central Luzon, Cagayan Valley, and Ilocos Region,

02:43our air temperatures will also remain high.

02:47To our fellow countrymen in Palawan and a large part of Visayas,

02:50just like today, we will still experience weather conditions by tomorrow.

02:54We still expect clear skies in the morning until the afternoon in many areas,

02:59accompanied by heavy rains that last for 1 to 2 hours,

03:05especially in the areas of Eastern Visayas and Panay Island.

03:09Our temperature here in Metro Cebu from 27 to 33 degrees Celsius.

03:15To our fellow countrymen in Mindanao,

03:16by tomorrow, the weather will still be gloomy in a large part of Mindanao,

03:20especially in the southern portions of Mindanao,

03:22Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi, where it will still be rainy in the morning.

03:25In Zamboanga Peninsula, especially in Zamboanga City and Zamboanga-Cebugay,

03:29here in the areas around Morogulf,

03:32including Sultan Kudarat, Lanao del Sur, Maguindano Provinces,

03:36Sarangani, South Cotabato,

03:38up to the eastern side, Davao Oriental and Davao Occidental,

03:41we will still experience gloomy weather.

03:43In the meantime, there will be scattered rains,

03:45so these rains will not continue,

03:47but there will still be heavy rainfall due to the effect of IPCZ.

03:51And to our fellow countrymen over the rest of Mindanao,

03:54Zamboanga del Norte, northern part of Northern Mindanao,

03:57plus Carraga Region, is partly cloudy skies in general,

04:00accompanied by occasional rainstorms,

04:02and there are also chances of heavy rains,

04:04especially in the afternoon until the evening.

04:07Our temperature in Metro Davao is not hot,

04:09from 25 to 29 degrees Celsius,

04:12while in Zamboanga, it is up to 31 degrees Celsius.

04:16In terms of our heat index for tomorrow,

04:19we will still expect in a large part of our country,

04:22almost 40 stations of hope,

04:24there will be dangerous levels of heat index

04:27if they notice these dark orange.

04:30That includes a large part of Cagayan Valley,

04:33Ilocos Region, Central Luzon, Metro Manila,

04:36the western sides of Mimaropa and Calabarzon,

04:39areas of Catanduanes, Camarines Sur,

04:43a large part of Western Visayas,

04:45Tagloban, Calbayo-Samar, Guiwan-Eastern Samar,

04:50and in Mindanao, just a few parts,

04:52including Cotabata City and Zamboanga City,

04:55where our possible heat index is 42 degrees or higher,

04:59by tomorrow in Metro Manila, up to 44 degrees Celsius,

05:02then highest in Dagupan City, up to 48 degrees,

05:05and 46 degrees is the maximum heat index by tomorrow.

05:08Iba Zambales, Apare Cagayan, and Tuguegarao City in Cagayan.

06:01in a large part of the country,

06:03from May 2 to the weekend,

06:05we still expect a hot and foggy weather,

06:08and we don't see any signs that our temperatures will drop.

06:12For Metro Manila, there's a chance that it will get dark

06:14by Thursday afternoon,

06:16but for Friday and Saturday,

06:18the chances of rain are mostly sunny and low.

06:21Here in Baguio City and the rest of Cordillera Region,

06:24it's a bit cloudy by the afternoon and afternoon,

06:26accompanied by heavy rain,

06:28and in the morning, fair weather conditions.

06:31And in a large part of Cabiculan,

06:32it's partly cloudy,

06:33and sometimes, it's sunny.

06:35And there will be heavy rain on Thursday afternoon.

06:39In Visayas,

06:58and it's accompanied by isolated rain showers.

07:02Lastly, in Mindanao,

07:04from Thursday to Saturday,

07:06it's partly cloudy,

07:07and sometimes, it's sunny.

07:08And the chances of rain are mostly on the eastern side,

07:11Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur,

07:13Davao Oriental, Davao Occidental,

07:15up to the southern portion,

07:17such as Sarangani, South Cotabato,

07:19Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, and Zamboanga City.

07:22There's a chance of afternoon thunderstorms,

07:24but from morning up until afternoon,

07:26it's sunny in a large part of Mindanao,

07:29and it's still the hottest in the cities.

07:32Our sunset is at 6.13pm,

07:34and the sunrise is still tomorrow at 5.34am.
