00:00Tonight is the night of rejuvenation. How does it feel for you? You look like you're glowing.
00:06I am. I feel good. I mean, I started with them in February, but I went to the Beverly Hills one, so obviously it's a new one.
00:13And it's really changed my life. Like, I've been educated in health and wellness, so, I mean, it's different.
00:21You look like you're smaller.
00:23What? I'm smaller?
00:24You look like you've lost some weight.
00:25I've lost some weight.
00:26You look fantastic.
00:27I'm going to keep on going, so.
00:29How are you continuing to be your best self today, John?
00:32Well, it's easy here because I can eat really healthy here.
00:36It's like, you can go across the street and eat healthy.
00:39In Pennsylvania, I've got to cook my own food, so I've really slid my diet down to pretty much, like, proteins.
00:44And I'm probably eating, like, 200 grams of protein a day, so.
00:47Oh, my God.
00:48And, like, 1,200 calories, so.
00:50Sorry. Keep it nice. Keep it tight. All right.
00:52How would you describe this current chapter in your life? Because you have been in front of the cameras for years.
00:58I'm the first. No.
01:01Kind of the first, but, you know, my life's been up and down for a while, and then it plateaued, and then I just went to work.
01:09But, like, with rejuvenation, Beverly Hills Rejuvenation Center, it was, like, something that was missing in my life.
01:15Like, I didn't understand, like, weightlifting, and it never concerned me.
01:19What concerned me were my labs, when Dr. Allain gave me my labs.
01:22And, like, yeah, I got to do something because, I mean, my dad died young, and his father died young, so.
01:29I mean, I want to break that trend, so.
01:32I just got more concerned about those kind of things.
01:34I love how you're putting that first.
01:36I mean, you have not just one child. You don't have just two.
01:39You have eight children, and you're only in your 40s.
01:41You want to be here for a long time.
01:43Yeah.
01:44What is your relationship? Can you give us some updates on your relationship with the kids?
01:48I'm still at the hiatus where I don't, the other four, like, four of the six, they still live in North Carolina and go to school in North Carolina and college.
01:56So, let's just start. My twins are 24, and my six are 20.
02:0024 and 20?
02:01Yeah, so.
02:02John, they were babies when we met them.
02:05Empty nester here. I survived.
02:09So, it's different because, you know, Hannah and Colin store their stuff at my house.
02:14They don't really live there.
02:17But it's, I'm like, it's a different time for me in my life only because one day they were in my house, and then the next day they're not.
02:24And you've been doing that for a long time.
02:26Yes.
02:27And you're known for doing that.
02:28And then all of a sudden they're not there anymore, and you're like, eh, what am I going to do now?
02:32So, it's been like, to be an empty nester, I was 46, now I'm 47.
02:37I just had a birthday, but it's just different.
02:39Now, you know you're being a little play out here.
02:41How are Hannah and Colin?
02:42They're doing well.
02:43Yeah.
02:44Hannah's in college.
02:45Colin missed a little bit, and then he's going to school in the fall.
02:50But he has some military training he has to do, so he's doing really well.
02:54And Hannah talks to the others, so she told me they're doing really well, too.
02:59And Maddie and Kara are in New York, so Kara has a really great job, and so does Maddie.
03:03So, I can't ask for anything more.
03:05They're healthy.
03:06Wealthy.
03:08Hello!
03:09And they have a career, so I can't really complain.
03:12I think we did a really good job getting them there.
03:15You and their mother, Kate, definitely did that.
03:17What's your relationship, your friendship with Kate?
03:19I don't really have a friendship with Kate.
03:20I mean, I haven't talked to her since 2018, but I think things kind of work themselves out in the future.
03:28Maybe my other kids will come around, and maturity will set in.
03:32So, I have no idea, really.
03:33I think the glow also comes from Stephanie, your girlfriend.
03:37So, we've got to give her a shout out.
03:38Yeah, Stephanie Lebo.
03:42Soon to be.
03:43You never know.
03:44And I think it's good to have someone that's supportive.
03:49It took me a long time to find someone like that.
03:51I mean, she's ten years younger than me.
03:55You're junior.
03:56But, like, yeah.
03:57I mean, I didn't know the term.
03:58I know.
03:59You know where I was going.
04:00You're junior.
04:01Yeah, I think it's good because, like, I mean, I have a really peculiar life.
04:04And, you know, I'm on tour, and I'm here, I'm there.
04:07I was just in Florida.
04:08I'm in back and forth.
04:10I pretty much live in an airport on the plane.
04:12But she's supportive either way.
04:14And I think it just brings us closer together.
04:18I love that.
04:19Yeah.
04:20What makes her the one?
04:21It sounds like you might be very close to asking her this year.
04:23Yeah.
04:24She is my best friend.
04:26I have guy friends, but this is different.
04:28Like, I confide in her with everything.
04:31And I've never really had – I've always been hesitant with, like – I had a lot of PTSD and trust issues.
04:36And now I can fully open up with someone.
04:38It's very relieving.
04:40And then I can just go be me.
04:41When are you popping the ring?
04:43I can't tell you that.
04:44It's a secret, and she'll watch.
04:46Her, her mother, and my mother ask, like, constantly.
04:51And I'm just like, can you just let me be?
04:54Okay, we'll leave you alone on that one.
04:56You'll know when you'll know.
04:58I know that you're watching the show.
04:59You know people love still watching that show.
05:01Oh, yeah.
05:02Yeah.
05:03Do you watch it every night?
05:05Because it was really raw and, like, it was like docuseries.
05:08But it's like I miss my kids when they were real little.
05:10Because you're like the hero, you know.
05:12You're like their mentor.
05:13And now you're just like a bank or advice.
05:16And they don't follow your advice anyway, so what's the – why do I give my opinion if it doesn't matter?
05:20It doesn't matter, John.
05:21No.
05:22Get out of here, John.
05:23No, don't do that.
05:24Like, they do it anyway.
05:25Told you not to park there.
05:26John, thank you so much for your time.
05:27Yeah, no problem.
05:28Thank you.
05:29And enjoy the party.
05:30We'll be in there soon.
05:31Yeah, no problem.
