National Cabinet to convene this week for urgent meeting

The Prime Minister has ruled out declaring a national emergency to address domestic and family violence saying a long-term solution is needed to tackle the ongoing issue. National Cabinet will be convened this week to discuss what needs to be done. After tens of thousands of people marched in cities and towns at the weekend demanding action.
