00:30 for the long 12 years in particular, we've come all the way from the top
00:34 playing AC Milan and Man United and Liverpool, Cubs etc
00:38 we've come all the way down but we know who we are and yeah we're glad to be up there again
00:43 It really really feels like home, yeah yeah and it's obviously been an amazing year for the club
00:47 the women have been brilliant, the men as well
00:49 Oh yeah definitely, the women have been stonking
00:52 No really expected job this year, it's done absolutely everything

00:59 What kind of impact has it had on the city as well do you think?

01:04 It's bubbling isn't it, it's fantastic
01:07 It's absolutely brilliant, I mean this is absolutely out of the passion
01:11 We've been waiting for years for this, the one thing they've never done with Pompey
01:14 is buy the next spirit, the fans have stuck behind them right the way down, right the way up
01:18 The only club in this country is the Milan club, they laid the foundation for us
01:23 we're just coming to build it and if I'm honest they're doing a fantastic job
01:27 So you've kind of all said it all on the stage there really
01:32 but think back all those years ago to when you left the club the first time
01:35 did you ever think for a second that you'd be here today and celebrating this?
01:39 Honestly no, like I said out there I've been behind the barrier, I've celebrated
01:43 and I was getting emotional on stage because it's like when you actually see it all
01:48 and I generally, and I'll be completely honest when I've said this
01:51 I didn't know how much the club meant to me because I'd been away for so long
01:55 and I focused on myself and forging a career for Marlon Pack
02:00 even though you've supported a club since birth really, you have no choice
02:06 being born in Portsmouth you have no choice but support in Portsmouth
02:09 and that's why we're so unique as a football club
02:11 so I forgot how much it meant to me and it was only until when I came back
02:15 I kind of remade my debut and obviously this year
02:18 I don't want to be a bore but it generally hasn't sunk in yet
02:22 Moments like this help but it'd be one where you look back and go wow
02:26 you've actually achieved that, you were born and bred from Portsmouth
02:30 you've been a season ticket holder, you've played for the club since the age of 7
02:33 and you've come back after having a decent career ban in the Championship
02:37 and you're captain of the club to winning the league
02:40 like I said I'll have people in that crowd that I'll know
02:43 that I've crossed paths with whether that's playing football
02:46 or growing up with or going to school with
02:49 do you know what's more pleasing for me is the fact that it's relatable
02:53 it's achievable, without getting too deep
02:56 you can be from Portsmouth, you can grow up in Eminence
02:59 and have a dream to play for Portsmouth
03:02 and it's achievable for anyone out there
03:04 I was born in Buckingham in a council estate
03:07 it just gives hope for everyone in Portsmouth I suppose
