00:00So we're here at CES 2024 with Razer to check out their brand new HD Haptic Gaming Cushion.
00:06Now, I obviously can't really test it out myself, so I asked my colleague Anthony Spadafore to
00:11test it out for us, so let's go check it out. Razer's Project Esther is billed as the world's
00:16first HD Haptics Gaming Cushion. Powered by the company's Razer Senza HD Haptics, this haptic
00:22technology strives to make gaming more immersive thanks to its full-body, high-definition positional
00:27haptics. Most haptic devices only have one-dimensional feedback that always feels the
00:32same. Project Esther adapts to whatever game or content you're consuming by generating tactile
00:36sensations that change in speed, intensity, and duration. Project Esther features 16 haptic
00:42actuators that are positioned for maximum content with your body. This is possible due to its wider
00:47surface area. Project Esther's haptic sensations travel from one part to another, which amps up
00:53its sense of immersion. Like, for instance, when you start the level and you go down the elevator,
00:57I could feel that on Esther on either side. Yeah. If you're getting shot on the left,
01:01you feel it on the left side. If you're getting shot on the right, you feel it on the right side.
01:03Thanks to Project Esther's adjustable straps, it works with most gaming chairs and office chairs.
01:08This is great because it means you don't need to buy an all-new chair. You can use whatever
01:11chair you already own. Project Esther supports Razer HyperSpeed Wireless. This 2.4 gigahertz
01:17connection allows for low-latency gaming and is ideal for other forms of media and devices.
01:22Alright guys, so AnthonySpot04 here. He's going to be testing out Razer Project Esther. It's still
01:26a concept, not finalized, but this is kind of a revolution when it comes to gaming haptics.
01:33So, Anthony, what do you feel like? What does it feel like when you're playing?
01:36Yeah, I'm feeling as I'm going down in the elevator, I felt that. I'm feeling the shots
01:39coming in. Just think of it as like the vibration from your controller, but now it's on your back,
01:44in your chair. Right now, Project Esther is only a concept, so we don't know when it'll actually
01:49release, but we're excited to see where this technology could go.
01:52Alright, so that was Project Esther. We want to know what you have to say,
01:55so make sure you comment down below. And for all RCS 2024 coverage, make sure you hit up
02:00Tom's Guide on all the social media platforms. Once again, that was Tony and Anthony,
02:04and we'll see you next time. Later. Not the best Megamoria player, but trying.
