00:03 Can you tell me about your friendship and what that essay meant to you?

00:12 And as he mentions in it, I was a Coldplay fan from,

00:21 I may have worn out the CD.

00:23 I mean, I was just so there's a mutual respect

00:26 and admiration and friendship and love there.

00:29 And I just yeah, I'm very touched that he took time out to do that for me.

00:33 What have you learned from each other in the music industry?

00:36 That's a very big question.

00:42 What what I think that there's always more to discover, there's more.

00:47 I know we're probably both at an age where you can stop and reflect

00:53 on on some of what's been and celebrate.

00:57 I can't talk to him, but I'll say for me that having

01:02 decades now of

01:05 a relationship with so many people,

01:12 for some, it might be a fleeting relationship.

01:14 Some might have just come on, you know,

01:16 known of me the last year, but it's all about connection and energy.

01:23 And I would say that's the thing that

01:26 when I was starting out,

01:29 I probably didn't think of it that way.

01:31 It's just about the music and the performance and the delivery.

01:35 But as time passes, I'm just so amazed that

01:39 I'm part of some people's lives.

01:42 People I'll never meet as they are very much a part of mine.

01:46 And there's something cosmic and beautiful about that.

01:48 That's fantastic. You've influenced a lot of people.
