00:00I want to talk a little bit about how Jungle has evolved. You're looking at one
00:09of the many, you're looking at one of the, you're looking at one of the many stages
00:12of Jungle's evolution right here. Lydia came and recorded the fourth album and
00:17wrote it with us. She's incredible, an amazing performer live on stage. I think
00:22for us it's just about continuing to make music that excites us, continuing to
00:25challenge ourselves and like taking steps forward not backwards. I thought she was
00:28talking about Pokemon. Jungle, Pokemon. How did you evolve? To me when I think of
00:35y'all it's like Thanos a little bit. It's like it's collaboration, it's creativity.
00:41Like you've tackled all these challenges for yourselves and I want to know about
00:45maybe the other challenges that we have yet to complete the like gems of the
00:50fist of like what does Jungle want to put on that list. I suppose just moving
00:55forward we're just like you know we love working with people, we love making good
00:58stuff and we like making art and we love collaborating with dancers you know we've
01:02we've always loved dance and been so inspired by that you know I'm not I'm not
01:06a dancer but I love it and I love watching it so you know making videos
01:10and bringing people together and I think you know this year has been a really big
01:13year for Jungle you know it's like back when 74 was connected with a load of
01:17people and so that just kind of inspires us to go and make cooler cooler shit for
01:22everyone to look at. I want to talk about that choice and that collaboration with
01:26Shay and obviously you know we have Will West with the hands and the arms. Talk
01:31about that collaboration and what drove you to add that to the world of Jungle.
01:34Well it's sort of we've been working on it for years in a way you know like the
01:38dance thing is something we had since the first video and it's always been
01:41about finding amazing people who who just you know breathe it and I think
01:47Shay came on board. Will was there from Casio you know he brought Casio
01:51alive to another level and Shay had he'd Instagrammed me years ago and said
01:56I'd love to work with with you and I didn't really know who he was and then
02:00luckily enough on through seeing a Ghetto Funk collective who are a dance
02:05amazing dance group out of Netherlands we found out that Shay was connected to
02:10Roche who's in Ghetto Funk and then Shay started to do some movement direction on
02:16problems and good times and did some choreography on that and then when you
02:20see him in the room he's such an amazing guy and he's so so good at what
02:25he does and he's got a lovely energy and he directs the room so well it's like
02:30wow you know. It was very intentional that the live show was gonna be we're
02:35getting from behind the boards and we're bringing something bigger and
02:39better something that is what's happening in our brain while we're
02:43creating and I want to know how you fine-tuned that and integrated that into
02:47your show over the past few years and how maybe you've adapted it for this set
02:52here today. More lights, jazz it up as much as you can really.
02:57Again but it's evolution so like we're just constantly trying to like challenge
03:04ourselves and what we can achieve visually sonically and that's where it
03:07stays exciting and keeps you motivated.
