Reliving A Fun Kobe Bryant And Jack Nicholson Moment

00:00I'm Jill Painter Lopez for Sports Illustrated here with a Kobe Bryant memory.

00:07And this time the Lakers tweeted to a video of him when he was just 19 years old doing

00:12an interview with Jim Gray.

00:14It was in New York and Kobe was playing in his first NBA All-Star game.

00:19So the two are doing the interview and then Jack Nicholson comes in and interrupts and

00:22he's like, Hey Kobe, will you sign this basketball for me?

00:25And of course Kobe obliges and then Jim Gray asks Nicholson, Hey, any advice for Kobe Bryant?

00:31And he's like, yeah, heat up.

00:33Kobe jokes around about it and says, Hey, I brought my LA family.

00:36And it was interesting to see what he said about the All-Star game.

00:40He said it meant the world to him.

00:41He admitted to feeling a little bit nervous and he said, you know, it's finally here.

00:46And if you think about it, Kobe had probably been dreaming of that moment since he was

00:49a kid.

00:50Finally here at 19 and in his first NBA All-Star game, pretty incredible, but it was certainly

00:54nice to see him smiling.
