00:18 Well, Melissa, that dates back to 1991 and the Bulls were just beginning to start their
00:24 dynasty and the Lakers' showtime era was just ending.
00:27 It was almost like a little bit of a passing of the torch.
00:31 Jordan expressed incredible emotion, unlike anything we had ever seen, clutching the Larry
00:36 O'Brien trophy, crying.
00:38 And he and Magic Johnson met in the hallway.
00:41 Magic Johnson discussed this now and he said it was such a special moment for Michael Jordan
00:46 and he said it was a special moment for myself.
00:49 What a class act Magic Johnson obviously has always been, but he knew what that went to
00:53 Michael Jordan.
00:54 He knew what was happening in the NBA and kind of that transferring of power basically.
00:59 And he said, you know, after the game and postgame interviews, he said, you know, if
01:04 I have to lose to somebody, it's going to be Michael Jordan and the Bulls.
01:07 So just showing a ton of respect for Michael Jordan and he knew what was about to happen.
01:12 But just that hug that those two competitors and opponents were able to share was really
