00:00 I'm Jill Painter Lopez for Sports Illustrated joined by Melissa Rowland.
00:07 And Melissa, LeBron James on a conversation on Uninterrupted was comparing the '92 Dream
00:12 team versus his '08 Redeem team.
00:15 How did those teams stack up?
00:17 It's interesting because that was one of the greatest collection of basketball players
00:22 of all time.
00:23 If you look at those two teams, on one side you have Magic Johnson, you have Michael Jordan,
00:27 you have Charles Barkley, on the other side you have Kobe Bryant, you have LeBron James.
00:33 I mean, just an incredible assortment of players.
00:36 He said obviously if he had to pick, he's going to choose his '08 team, but he said
00:41 really either team could have won that game.
00:43 It would have just depended on who was having a better game that day.
00:46 I mean, it's just incredible to think about those players going head to head.
00:50 He joked though, however, that it wouldn't really be those teams going head to head.
00:54 It would be more of a one-on-one versus a four-on-four game with Michael Jordan and
00:59 Kobe Bryant going at each other and the rest of the team saying, "Hey guys, remember there's
01:03 five players on the court.
01:06 Pass us the ball."
01:07 But it's really interesting to think about, to imagine.
01:09 If you think about how intense those scrimmages were with each of those teams, I mean, those
01:13 stories are things of lore.
01:15 So to imagine what an actual game would have been like between those two teams is really
01:19 just incredible to think about.
