Vanessa Bryant Receives First Pink Roses Named Gigi, After Her Daughter

00:06 today, well Vanessa Bryant received some new pink roses that were named after her

00:10 daughter Gianna. The roses named Gigi and she received them on what would have

00:14 been Gianna's 14th birthday on a milestone day. Well there's an

00:19 interesting connection, an LA based florist named Jeff Lethem, he's been

00:22 working with the supplier of roses and flowers from the Netherlands for about

00:26 the last 20 years. Well they told him about a new rose that they had, a rose

00:30 that they've been working on for the last couple of years. They asked him

00:33 about a name, they discussed it and the rose is now named Gigi. Well those roses

00:39 were FedExed all the way from the Netherlands and Vanessa Bryant posted

00:42 the lovely note that Jeff wrote to her talking about how it was an honor for

00:47 him to help name these in memory of her daughter and again what a special and

00:51 neat deal that she received them on what would have been Gianna's 14th birthday
