James Worthy On Why The Season Resuming Is So Important To LeBron James

00:06James Worthy was on Spectrum Sportsnet talking about how good of an opportunity this is for

00:11LeBron that the season is going to resume.

00:14Tell us a little bit about what he said.

00:17Well Melissa, James Worthy knows a thing or two about a championship team and he said

00:21the way LeBron was leading this team certainly after the All-Star break was something very

00:27special.

00:28And as we know, LeBron James is 35 years old and not going to have a ton more opportunities

00:33like this with this kind of team with AD as well to win a title.

00:38Now he said, I know LeBron is going to be in the best shape.

00:42He said, the veterans you don't worry about.

00:44It's the younger guys who could prove to be those X factors that you worry about in terms

00:48of being in shape and ready to go because they've never experienced anything like this.

00:52And we are almost at three months basically of an off season since the pandemic had hit

00:58with that July 31st date to return.

01:01Now guys know this is where we have to be when those games start.

01:06So LeBron James, of course, at 35 years old, a very good chance to win this championship.

01:12And James Worthy said, LeBron thought before the pandemic hit that they could win.

01:16And he said, nothing has changed since then.
