00:10 And Melissa, according to a report in Yahoo, some of the league's top players got together

00:18 Chris Haynes from Yahoo reported that Chris Paul organized a conference call among some
00:22 of the top players in the league, including two Lakers, LeBron James and Anthony Davis,
00:28 and they were discussing how they felt about the season possibly returning.
00:32 And according to Chris, they all unanimously agreed that they want to find a way to get
00:36 back on the court.
00:37 They want to find a way to play basketball and they want to find a way to crown a champion.
00:42 Obviously there's a lot of unknowns right now.
00:44 There's a lot up in the air.
00:45 NBA commissioner Adam Silver is looking into a lot of options to see if they can resume
00:50 play safely amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
00:53 He's exploring fanless games, concentrating all of the games in one or two cities, such
00:58 as Las Vegas or Orlando.
01:00 But right now, a lot is unknown.
01:03 But I will tell you this, if all of those players, if LeBron, if Kevin Durant, Steph
01:08 Curry, Giannis, if all of those guys are in support of a season returning, that's going
01:13 to hold a lot of power.

01:17 And we've seen a lot of former players like Shaquille O'Neal, Tracy McGrady, Richard Jefferson
01:21 say they think they should end the season.
01:23 But if we've got all the top current players wanting to play, I'm sure they're going to
01:26 try and find a way to get it done.
