LeBron James ‘Honored’ To Be Named BET Awards Sportsman Of The Year

00:11 and Instagrammed about it saying he was honored and thanked the organization for

00:21 the court of course he has led the Lakers to first place in the Western

00:26 Conference. He's averaging 25.7 points per game and of course that

00:30 league-leading 10.6 assists. He is trying to help the Lakers win their first NBA

00:36 title since 2010. Now the things that he does off the court are also equally

00:42 amazing. Starting the I Promise School in his hometown of Akron, Ohio, excuse me.

00:47 Starting that voting rights coalition called More Than a Vote recently. Using

00:51 his voice on important matters such as racism and police brutality. He's got the

00:56 two media companies Spring Hill Entertainment and Uninterrupted. He's

00:59 doing so many things and that is why he is your BET Awards Sportsman of the Year.
